You can choose to enter however you like, after discussing it with me of course. I decided to offer joining players two courses of action, to either join as a former hostage of the unchained, and thusly starts corrupted but with some bonuses to balance the corruption, or to start pure and both wait until the current players are in a proper situation to find your character and you start with your normal setup.
IIRC, I gave two bonuses to Aust, in that his character's bonus was to be in a situation where she essentially saved the entire party from insta-losing to some really silly mistakes. So, quite the hero. And then the loot.

Can I get a quick summery of what's happened/what the story is? I think i'd like to start pure. It shouldn't be difficult to meet up with my character, she travels very frequently.
And would it be fine if I made my own Background passive? Shalendra is a member of a knight like group, and would have a reputation with Elves/Fey.

The general background of all the heroes is that they're the only ones who can stop Generic Von Badguy because the ones who beat them before developed a way to give their spawn protective boons in the form of chains on their bodies as tattoos. These 'glyphs' protect the one wearing it from being affected by Generic Von Badguy's magic. You can often see other entities affected by their magic, usually the mobs of enemies you fight.
So far, the world is slowly coming to learn that Generic Von Badguy has awoken from the prison that they were sealed in by the heroes since they couldn't kill it. Entities known as the "Unchained" have come into power as various leaders of bad guy groups and are harassing the innocent towns and cities and villages of the world. The heroes that be found out about this when a Farmer's family was kidnapped, all but their son, who came to town and told everyone what happened. The town was a village created by some of the heroes who went into retirement, and their descendants were the ones who answered the attack, meeting a goblin/kobold lair and the half-orc that ran it, defeating them and returning to town, where a sage instructed them on what they needed to do. The sage herself was a timeless elf who didn't suffer the passage of time and was able to go on a second journey.
The heroes that be went forward, using a teleport ritual that the sage had constructed last time she was with her old company. Then, they arrived in a town with a lot of angry people who claimed that both male and female mutant lizardfolk were making off with their spouses and family. The lizard folk were being called human for their oddly more human characteristics. The adventurers decided to go check them out, and found that the lizardwomen had adopted attractively human shapes and almost all of the lizard folk knew how to speak common language. They discovered their leader, a half breed between an elf and a lizard folk male, who had a broken and fiery chain on his wrist, similar to the orc, indicating him as unchained. But he was not like the orc at all, in that he was completely peaceful, and was under stress because the angry village and his tribe traded often, and because of their change their peace was ruined, and the village sought their demise. The villagers that went missing were all present in the village, engaging in acts of debauchery with the lizard folk, and seemed completely willing to be there.
Then, they fucked the lizard chieftain because he was such a nice and sexy person. They gave birth to his babiez.
Now, they are trying to make peace between the two, managing to convince the mayor to talk to the chieftain and hear his side out on the condition he shows that all of the 'lost' villagers are safe and sound.
Now, they're fucking him again. Some of them, that is. Some others have leveled up their prude powers and resisted his shining D.
That is all.

How... interesting. Well, i'd like my character to remain pure, so i'll wait until you have the chance to insert me. I can easily just be a random traveler, since that's mostly what my character does.
Do we have to be the ancestors of the heroes in order to be pure?

The chain plothook doesn't require any purity, it's separate. Also, if you had nothing to do with any of the heroes, then you wouldn't have been given a chain, which means the Unchained, if you're captured or they get their hands on you in some way, will be able to affect you greatly, able to do various bad things to you and possibly even brainwash/recruit you. The chains give the PC's some permanence even if they lose. Not having them means you're one and done. Once you lose it's time to make a new character.

What's the difference in appearance between 'Normal Lizard women' and the ones that were there during the effect? I know what they looked like when under the effect but what do they look like now? Same with the monster guys, just so we have a frame of reference to go off of.

Laya has the hots for all reptiles now, so works out. Plus she likes Samua. But if he isn't gonna live up to his potential, she will sadly do what she must to ensure saftey for the 1/2 elf 1/4 lizardfolk 1/4 Human babies they're making.
