For a moment, the Kat blender was put to a halt, or well, not so much a halt as a momentary pause. The dogbold sidestepped the web once again. Really, she should just get Talia to do this more often. It made fights so much easier!

Talia growled as her blade drew blood. Not enough, but others were aiding valiantly enough. Still, the situation around Kat was taking a turn for the worse. Laya would need support, too. The tiefling realized she'd need to deal with this one on her own. "Weiss, Vylyra! Help the other two!" She barked out, working her magic again. She'd need to drop her Web spell, but it wasn't very useful now. And given that Weiss would have to close in, it could be detrimental. On the plus side, this freed up more power she could turn against her opponent, something she planned to take advantage of immediately.

First, the coming blow. A quick gesture erected a shield that repelled it, leaving the sorceress unharmed and ready. It lasted but a moment, yet a moment was enough to mount a counterattack. The half-demon swung her palm, crackling with electricity, striking at the man. Sadly, that leather he was wearing seemed to insulate him against it, but Talia was confident she could chip him down to death easily enough on her own now that she had magic on her side. It was just a matter of lasting long enough for the bigger concentration of foes to fall first.
