Don't ask us what a good game would be. All you have to do is ask 'yourself' what a good H-game would look like. Once you answer that question, then you should know what to do.

If you play it and like it, then the same should apply to us. It's the reason why Kyrieru's games are good. They're not fantastic, but they meet a certain standard to become enjoyable, and it's a standard he set himself, changing it until it met his personal preference on what's actually good.

So what I gather from this thread so far is;

Make the game with ps360 level graphics
Do cell shading because it looks good and lasts longer
Make what I want to make

Now I want some opinions on some other things;

I'm leaning towards a grim dark story. Are you guys okay with death and such so long as it isn't in the porn? Or would you prefer the grim parts be the porn?

I'd say worry less about what people want and go for what interests you. The biggest issue I usually see with people making games a lot of the time is the creator loses interest or becomes too busy. A lot of games end up being abandoned. It's better to go with an idea that would motivate you to continue the project in the future rather than rely on the public. Considering it's taking you months to figure what kinda of 3d you want your game in, making the actual game will probably take longer. Do something you'll continue to enjoy working on 1-2+ years in the future, if you continue with the project for that long.

As for the question, while it's not in my own interests, grim porn doesn't bother me either. So both would be fine with me.

I don't think there are too many games that have done bad with 3D graphics.
The main problem with them would be they make 3D graphics and that's all the have.
I'm a sucker for a good sidescroller or beat em up, but few 3D games actually go that route and fewer do it well.
I'm not expecting triple A quality graphics, but I'd say my minimum would be Mageroid.
