Not to mention a lot of other things which made the series bad. Clunky controls, awkward gameplay, thrown-together level design, that bitch's grating voice, the herp-derp humor, all the "how the fuck did this happen," the "shit doesn't bend that way," or the "he thought this was a good idea?" moments, and how the sub-par smut was trying to compensate for EVERYTHING else (literally, everything). Can't even use the same old "well it's just porn so it doesn't need to make sense" excuses to save something this bad.

Think, pink pencil is not happy reading this feedbacks :eek: On other hand, some of them are pretty fair. Absolutly agree with checkpoints

I'm probably, a sort of "cultural pervert", because i like "trash" movies, art, games etc smth attractive is here, so i can say i got some pleasure playing framboise 1 and 2

Anyway, anybody played this Torture chambers ? Seems everything said here was about old games, so what about this new ?

plan to fund my card and try this weekend, but will be happy to know before

From the videos and pictures, it seems they develop for 4:3 screens. In 2015. Weird. I don't remember if that was the case with their first game, but it might have been. It's been a while.

If the game is trying to strech while keeping the aspect ratio (and thus going out the screen), you could try to trick it by changing to a 4:3 resolution before booting it up.
Tried this but you launch the game from the encrypter so you cant force change the setting that well

Anyway, anybody played this Torture chambers ? Seems everything said here was about old games, so what about this new ?
haven't gotten far but there is items you can pick up now such as knifes which kill enemies as you touch them act like armour to shield a hit and bombs which nuke all enemies in the area your in on the level. Also I haven't seen it yet but I think there is a gallery mode judging from the file names

Sorry for necro this thread, but I bought this game but the game can't locate the file arrow.pp even if it is in the correct folder...
Has anyone an idea how solve the problem?

So... I would post this on the mystery forest page, but feel it would be bad to necro a topic after 2 years... the Dev has a mega link to mystery forest on his website, so the game is free now. It's really bad. But, if you've been wondering about it you can go get it now.

I agree with "pretty bad", but for the benefit of aspiring gamedevs on here, I figure we might as well call out specific problems:
- Controls feel unresponsive, which is partly because of the "turning around" animation that burns input for no in-game effect.
- The fake outhouses are more confusing than entertaining, especially having them early in the game, when users are still learning the core mechanic.
- The lives mechanic is near defunct, when losing all lives loads you back to the start of the level anyway.
- Many enemies can be defeated by jumping on them, but this doesn't get properly introduced, as far as I can tell.
- Unskippable death animations should be no more than 5s, since players will sit through them often. Many are much longer.
- There's too many unmarked trap areas to jump into, at least for my liking.
- Hitboxes on the goblins are dodgy as fuck (hurr hurr), especially considering they're an essential navigation mechanic.
- The balance between some enemies doing HP damage and some being instantly fatal seems unfair at times.

Wait, you can Mario some enemies? I played some of the first level, found the open outhouse I can't interact with and got to the part of the stage with the floating land and strange green monster thing and couldn't figure out how to progress and went "fugg this shiz" and closed the game.

Anyone know a cheat for this game?
try to type "godt" while in game. This ( seems ) makes Franny invulnerable + turns on red levers ( necessery to open level exit door )
