Look good. I'm a fan of Rune factory too, so that's a plus.

Sadly It's a little bit small :(

First of all: Love the Joke in the download. Second of all it's a Wolf RPG those sadly don't get partials as often as RPG Maker mainly cause Wolf can be really annoying to work with.

All in all this game was extremely straightforward. Personally I think the game lacks depth.

You eventually make your way to the farm and you start tilling and stuff. To farm, basically you need to till the land, plant the seed, and water the spot.

The town has basically 5 areas.

The central hub, in the center.
The castle, to the north.
The eastern town, to the east.
The western town, to the west.
And to the south is the direction to your farm. (you need to go through 2 areas)

Central hub has 2 primary locations, the weapon shop, which is where you do part-time work for some pocket change, and the item shop, which is where you buy better farm gear. There's 3 tiers of farm gear. The 1st tier, you already have. The 3rd tier watering can is pretty op, it waters an area in a 3x3 square. The 3rd tier of hoe makes your tilling done in 1 hit, but it's pretty useless after you finish tilling your whole area.

The castle where you meet that red haired lord is where you get your missions. I don't exactly remember what he asks you to do, but I think generally in this order:
Bring a red rose
Bring a white rose
Bring a pink rose (you need to combine the 2 roses to get a seed which you plant)
Bring a 1* rose (you need to give like some feeds, which I'll get to in a bit)
Win the rose competition to become medium level farmer
Win the rose competition again to become high level
Talk to him for ending

Western town is where you buy your seeds and livestock. Top right shop of western town is where you buy your seeds. The npc's name is Kaito. First 4 items from the top are
Red Rose
Blue Rose
Yellow Rose
White Rose

Then after he tells you to bring the 1* rose (it can go up to 3*), he starts selling these pouches starting 7 items down which you give to the seeds to increase the quality of the rose. There's 5 types of quality, and thus there are 5 types of pouches. Each type of quality can go up to 5 points, and the basic pouch only gives 1 point of 1 type of quality (so you need total of 25 pouches, 5 of every kind, which will make every quality 5/5) I think you only need to make 1 type of quality 5/5 for 1*. While on this topic, regarding combining the pink rose, after you give him the white rose, go to the seed shop and talk to the guy (Kaito). Then go to your farm. You'll see this white machine thing above your farm, which is where you combine your existing roses to get a rose seed, then you'll plant that.

The top left shop is where Vega is. She heals your HP (for when you go dungeoning), and sell chicken and cow for 1k each. After you buy them it will be on the right side of your farm. There's a chest above the animals where you give them the animal food, which they will consume one a day PER animal. You can buy the animal food for 100 gold each in the tool shop, 3rd item down. It looks like a green sword, sort of. Every day you interact with the animal and they'll give you milk/eggs.

Eastern town is where you get some basic food materials that you can't farm and kitchen tools. On top left is the restaurant. This place only opens a bit later, I believe. The first npc will sell you things like rice, bread, meat, seasoning, and so on. The 800 gold thing on the top is "daily bento" which restores your HP by 100. It's actually kind of useless. The npc in the back sells you kitchen tools like knife, frying pan, oven, etc. Knife is basically only used for filleting fish, and not much else. Inn is pretty useless, you can get some H scenes if you go in the men's side, but that's about it.

Then south. You see like a broken house that you can't enter, that's where the H scenes take place when you talk to some random strangers. You can't enter it normally, so you can forget about it early on. Northwest from that is where you talk to that boy early on when it tells you that you have to meet Leo (レオ). Later there's like a "Check" icon on the water in this area which is where you can fish on using the fishing rod you buy at the tool store. Then south of this area is your farm.

From your farm, later, you can go to northeast to enter the dungeon. The dungeon literally has 3 floors from what I can tell and they have actually not done anything for me. There's like few mediocre H scenes when fighting monsters and you seduce them, but that's about it. First area has some mushrooms, second area has fishing spots, and third area has rare gems like rubies and diamonds which you get by smashing those white rocks with a hammer (tool shop sells this later), which have been totally useless.

I think that's about the whole game.

Re: PornFactory [RJ194178]

The post above sums it up well I think. The game was fun (it kept my attention because it was different) but I feel like it may have aspired to be a lot more than it is in it's current form.

It felt like the farming/cooking system was intended to be a lot more useful than it actually is apart from being mandatory at the very start. Cooking things seems to be fairly meh (hardly any dungeon stuff to do) and farming is pretty rubbish from what I can tell since early on in the story you can do jobs from the sword icon building which give a decent amount of money. Selling fertiliser you find on the floor in town seems to give a decent amount of money too.

H-scenes weren't animated which for me nowadays feels rather lame and I don't have a working translator for wolf so getting turned on by words wasn't an option. :p Don't get me wrong though, the art is a nice style and the CG is good, it just isn't animated.

Mobs in the 2nd dungeon have a lot more health.. for what reason? There's nothing to do but farm fishes in that zone, and 1 H-mob. So buying armour in the later part of the game is pointless.

There's an item completion list which seems a bit ambitious; there is a looooooooot of items you can find/make/buy which would be awesome for a longer game with some actual reason to go into dungeons to fight things and that stuff.

H-scenes feel like they were just "added in" rather than implemented right for an RPG. At one point one of your friends appears to be possessed by a succubus(?) and tells you there's an abandoned house you can use to whore yourself out in if you invite people there... Then you're just like, "okay, best start inviting people then". The best part is it doesn't even appear to give you anything for these scenes apart from the CG?

Unequipping your dress will show you in your undies but it seems at no point without bugging it in the inn you can actually stay in your undies all the time. Perhaps a costume system was planned but didn't go through with it.

It just feels very unfinished, perhaps the developer(s) wanted it to be something a lot more but realised it was a lot more work than they thought? Or maybe the game was just designed to be a farming game and not really a H-game. But the game is called Porn Factory. Lol

Lol
You get energy by screwing people. Be it monsters or humans.

Ah, ok, makes sense! Having no translator or anything I didn't notice anything different.

Speaking of energy, I felt that I was not being rewarded for saving energy. There's limited number of actions you can take per day which is unrelated to your energy level. So on some days, even when you have almost full energy, it doesn't even matter, the day has ended, which means on next day you have almost 2 energy bars to work with (since talking to your original companion can restore your energy to 100), but again, doesn't matter, there's limited number of actions you can take per day. Especially getting milk/eggs from the farm animals. They take an action, but it costs 0 energy to get.

The whole game in general feels very unpolished. Making different types of food do allow you to sell for a pretty high cost using that selling chest, but you really might as well just plant a billion flowers and sell those. By the time I was done with the game I was rolling in cash so much that I might as well have bought the whole town and become a lord if such a thing was possible. Different types of food also don't really give you any unique benefits in dungeoning either (not that dungeoning was sophisticated to begin with). The game is more of a time-waster than anything. I can't say that I enjoyed the time playing it. I'd give it like a 2/5 or something.

Well... you could blow your excess energy on monster fights for drops and money.

But yeah, this game would really benefit from some sort of timekeeping mechanic like the RF and HM games instead of making a lot of actions take at least one hour to complete (1 hour to water one plant with the baseline watering can, ack).

Also more fun fights, yeah.

Eh, the RF and HM games (also Animal Crossing) tend to suffer from similar problems . 'Time-waster' is pretty much the intended game design. Granted, there's more stuff to do (and longer but still gratuitous storylines), and the optimum 'grind strat' is less obvious so players are encouraged to try out more things, but all those games are pretty much grind upon grind upon grind.

Personally, these kinds of games can be enjoyable in small doses (I'm a fan of Elona, for one), i.e. played in short bursts over long periods of time. Trying to speedrun through them however is just a recipe for burnout.

I understand what you're getting at that this kind of game is fairly casual and it's not something you need to play a lot at a time to enjoy. While I have not personally played Rune Factory or Animal Crossing, I have enjoyed somewhat similar games such as Stardew Valley, Starbound, and a slightly different genre, Factorio, which is more sandbox than anything. These games, while still allowing you to enjoy a little bit per day, are also great even when binged upon without actually boring you due to cohesion of the features and dense content.

This game on the other hand, felt like a mess. Every feature of the game felt unrelated to each other, and I was very disappointed by how shallow each content was. Now I understand this is a porn and an indie game, I'm not supposed to expect a triple A product here, but my impression was that the game felt shallow; there were multitudes of different...things (for lack of a better word) to do, but none of them seemed impressive. If they removed dungeoning for example, and expanded on farming, I think it would've been a better game.
