By that I meant the whole translation process of MV game with which I was not familiar: how to get the game ready to be translated in editor, how to edit scripts/UI elements, if there are major changes to local events/common events structure, etc.
And no, it was very similar to VX Ace, though I really liked a couple of quality of life improvements.

Agreed, I quite like the ability to read the Json files once unpacked, using Beyond Compare with that makes patching an already manually TL'd game much easier.
