Not sure if you now about Lily of The Valley. It's not the same character model but it's coming along great. And a new update is coming very soon. Personally I'm enjoying it more than I did Sarah's Life.

OF course i know the Lily of The Valley. Lily on completely different leven than sarah's life even trying to compare them is sinfull act.

I was just saying sarah's model pretty much "blonde bimbo" which is one of my favorite fetishes i would like to see her more but she dead now.

Hoping to see more curvy lily in future tho :3

If any one wants an update on the situation, he is back and did post an explanation on his patreon. However it does not seem enough to me, he did apparently send the links to v.6b but he could have at-least inform the people using forms such as this about him being lockout from his patreon account.

Coming at the last day of the month is quite convenient if you ask me.
I will follow the updates, and might buy the game if it does ever come out but my trust is greatly shaken.

I couldn't agree more on that. It is predictable. Make a post before charge cycle. It was predicted. I assume this version 0.6b has one short scenes with promises to future updates.
However his behavior is kind of stupid. He could continue to milk (as you said) cows more effectively. By just posting some posts with some promises.

Can someone who supports him support or prove wrong my prediction. Is this update short? Just curious.

As someone who was a $10 pledge just until a few days ago, I wonder if it still counts for this month as I'm due the update 1 or 2 weeks after the higher tier. Or will it not count as I won't be a pledge next month... :/
I think I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt for now, and see how things go from here before I get out pitchforks.

I kind of hope this guy would just quit and give his game for somebody active and dedicated to take further. Plots could take a lot of example from Humbling Experience. I do not like the graphics on it, but dialogue is nice!

The minute I finished v0.6 I cancelled my pledge. As my "review" earlier on this thread said, in-game events just got implausible after v0.4, v0.5 was abrupt and v0.6 was just stupid and forced.

This game had so much promise.. #missedopportunities

i read his response and i dont believe him.
his excuse is that he got into trouble with patreon forms that needed to be completed otherwise he cant use the page, during that time the patreon page where locked.

if this was me, i would have posted in different forum my "frustration", telling people that i cant login and im furious. then, i would have worked harder with the project and show that im active. because if hes locked out from patreon, does that mean hes locked out from ULMF as well?

this is bad behavior and it just make it harder to trust the patreon system.

I remember trying out the 0.6 version after it eventually got leaked as I had nothing better to do, and I don't think I was even able to play it till the end. I turned it off after the blowbang scene with the homeless, I believe.

Like, I really do hope that the people who put money into this are like, filthy rich, and to them this money has the equivalent importance as a few cents to me. Because damn, even the CG's, which aren't even that bad, though the backgrounds usually did annoy me, just aren't worth it.

Oh, and the way that black guy was introduced and a scene with him happened killed more of my brain cells than needed.

Well patreon started to feel stupid in general to me now. If you think that the best AAA games they cost about 60 dollars. When you support a patreon for 6 months in a row and happen to pay 20 per month you are literally better of buying 2 amazing games at steam or whatever.

Also what is a piss take is people still support him for 2k dollar and say, `Hey dude your studies are more important then of this game`. That would have been true if the game was FREE, when he started to charge for it and promise deadlines (which are not fulfilled) he had an obligation against his customers. However if the customers do not mind being milked, then fine I think.

the purpose of Patreon is not that you pay for a game before its completed. but to support the author so that he can make one.
a company is different, with lots of people that works with a monthly salary. we can't compare.

that is why people like Impure make it harder to believe in Patreon when dishonest tells lies about his absents. all people that financially support him are doing that so that he can make a game. even if its a hell lot more then a AAA game. Impure should be grateful and not take it for granted. he get money, a salary for doing what he likes. now, whatever he was doing, he pissed them right in the face laughing while spending their money. returns to "milk more" and tells lots of BS.

That was predictable. Finally, people start to tell truth about this peace of "art". But let's be frankly it was clear from the very beginning, that this game is peace of shit. Unfortunately other games haven't gone far from it.
But what is most disturbing this "developer" can kind of stimulate other people to create something similar. So more trash product may appear on the patreon.
And yes his explanation is a bullshit. because he deleted all negative posts on his patreon page. So he was logged in. But people still believe him. So they continue to support him.

Not sure if I should post in here about what's going on or not. If anyone would rather I delete this post I will certainly do so, but I have no idea what 'forms' he could be talking about.

Other than a form that allows Patreon to report any income to the IRS (or to the government of whichever country you live in) there is no other form I have ever been required to fill out to be a Patreon creator. Especially not one where Patreon would lock an account so that the creator couldn't access it or make any posts. Patreon makes their money off of creators so they bend over backwards to make sure that we all have everything we need to create and distribute content on a regular basis. *shrug*

Thanks for clarifying that, Reepyr. I'd suspected as much but didn't know how to verify that since I'm from the USA and had looked into a possible patreon to fund motorcycle projects a few years ago. So I didn't know if they really had a "government" form to fill out that would lock them out.
This brings me to my first point... The only thing I know of is the government can freeze patreon funds because of taxes and that won't necessarily lock you out of your account. So why wasn't anything said on Patreon?
Secondly, the "creator" is active here and could have found ways to get on the internet and state whatever needed to be said.
Third, if there really was an update ready (or close to it), then why wasn't it released within minutes of "re-gaining" patreon access. It took hours to get a 200+mb upload ready? Really?
Fourth, which is a sticky point with me, why didn't the "creator" take the time to double down and work on 0.7?? You don't need to be online to crank out a few pics on Daz or work on your RPG Maker script.
I suspect this fiasco is the direct result of irresponsible and immature decision-making.

I feel like people are using the wrong platform for these games. They're all linear, a visual novel would be more appropriate. (better yet just a simple comic because there's just about as much choice)

RPG's are good for world building, this game has no world.
Personally I don't enjoy the game so far. Everything is so detached from reality it feels like a bad porno.

As for constructive tips. Maybe try to avoid explaining everything we just see.
Many of the scenes you see what happens, then it's narrated right after. I know it might be titillating for some to drive the point home. But it's makes the pacing slower.

Other tip, maybe to focus so much on the path the character take, add little things here and there to make the place feel more alive, and less a construct. Details make a difference, and there are no details.

Also you're character is inconsistent, she's intelligent enough to question things, but gullible enough to accept what everyone says. Really?
Then she asks herself; "how did this happen to me?" - Really... she didn't see that coming.

Just a few thoughts if you want to broaden your audience.
