Re: SDTT4 - Day 1
"Why would a demon portray themselves as wanting to die?" Catherine voted for herself too, you know. In fact, looking at the first page, quite few people voted for themselves. By your logic, none of those people are demons. But like I said, this isn't about Portrayal. It's not an RP. I don't deny I voted for myself, but at the time, and seeing as how that seemed to be the way things were going, I couldn't think of anyone to vote for. So I made a mistake. Fair enough.
As I said, being a copy cat is no reason to lynch someone. Granted, it's sparked off the current happenings between us which may indeed lead to someone being lynched through logic, not 'because they pissed you off'. But just because they did the same thing as 4 other people, why lynch them? That's like saying we should lynch Plmnko because he broke the chain and DIDN'T vote for himself.
Now, my role is not especially vital to the survival of the human side, and therefore, I will gladly reveal it if it comes to that. But as for why the lyncher would portray themself as someone wanting to die, I'll say again that this isn't about portrayal, it's about strategy. And speaking of which, you yourself have said that you love to lie and trick. What if wanting to die was all part of a clever ruse you thought up? And lets look at your role as the nurse in DTT4. You voted for yourself there as well. Now why would a nurse portray themself as someone wanting to die?
You've voted for yourself in both the games currently running, so in terms of roles and gameplay I'm not taking those votes into account. But you also said you did that because you want the game to progress speedily, even if it costs your team victory. In other words, "I'm always going to vote for myself straight away regardless of my role or which side I'm on because I want the game to progress speedily." Now that I look, you said almost exactly that just a few posts ago. Which would answer your question of why a lyncher would portray themself as someone wanting to die. Anyone would. It's not the role, it's the player. In fact, that also answers your first question. See the first line of this post for a reminder of what it was.
My vote stands.
