Re: Sex MUGEN 2.0
Errrr...good? I suppose that's relative. In terms of 'new' characters, not especially. A few things come out of the uploader from time to time, but personally, I don't think there's anything you'd really miss if you didn't download it already. Most victims are focused on the Birdie/Bao anim set (piledriver/missionary, doggy, reverse CG), and rightfully so. I'm really hoping creators and modders start using that new Birdie lying-down BJ anim, or at least creating sprites for it.
Y'all new to H-mugen, eh?
@1234: Judael (RMDB) who originally hosted the quite amazing QoF database (which I used myself as a foundation to restore my own H-mugen build) is still on these forums; it's a shame the #62 post link was taken down, since I used to refer people to that. But I'd PM either him or Senoj to reupload on 4Shared or MEGA or something. I'd do it myself, but I deleted his original QoF from my computer.
@derakino: lol, the Spanish site was defunct YEARS ago--I remember when it used to be nearly the only place for useful H-mugen updates. However, the site owners decided to shut it down and reopen it as a brand new private forum with required login (all content was deleted, iirc), and then barely anyone went on it after that. Lots more to it than that, but that's the gist.
As of now, the best possible places I'd suggest for new content would be anything from the ryona uploaders (new characters), the Hinanjo site (sprites and future updates from editors/creators), and whatever mugen_sprite_lover wants to throw at us. Of course, gettag, rolandsburk and mugenero occasionally post vids too, but that's more for general viewing . I'm just gonna say what I say to the random lurker who jumps in with the typical "I want ____ character" or "any new updates?": If you want to improve your H-mugen, you need to work for it. That means actually working hard at your google-fu skills and navigating through all the defunct Jap H-mugen websites and finding out what's still active and dropping content. Even better, instead of asking for things and leeching, it's more productive to learn how to apply sprites/anims/sounds to victims, work on existing characters, or even create new ones.
For example, Neo and Mugenhti were doing some work on scripts and applying mugen_sprite_lover's amazing sprites, before both went MIA. I'm actually very slowly applying mugen_sprite_lover's sprites to some of his characters (since I was begging for his sprites ever since I saw him post some of his flash models), but even FINDING some of the characters as a non-H base took FOREVER. I'm nowhere near the aforementioned guys' level of skill/expertise and it takes LOTS of time and energy. But it's better than just waiting around, as nobody benefits from that. The reason why characters like Tifa/Dizzy are so poor with compatibility is that everyone just wants the characters, instead of trying to actively improve upon them. (And on that point, Dizzy is one of the more fully H-compat characters--she's compat with Kuro's moves/finishes, Mino's moves/finishes, psychoraper's moves/finishes, Birdie/bao's moves/finishes; she's been heavily worked on by the spriters/editors but you need to add her sprites/anims often, and that's usually why new H-mugen players don't see her/other victims' full potential).
So long story short, yes, there are places you can go. But I'd say to be resourceful on your own, especially since H-mugen is nearly extinct, and therefore you really should earn your characters; unlike most other games on this forum, H-mugen is a different animal because it's a constantly improving and collaborative work which requires an investment, instead of it falling into your lap.
The OP was updated not too long ago to include Betmark's repository (I think it's still outdated, but Betmark's pretty good with organizing it and at least it's one of the few somewhat active H-mugen warehouses), so check that one out. My personal go-to is:
Since I haven't been posting (only lurking) here, I might as well share what I'm doing. I finally got my H-mugen up and running--took quite a while to organize and looking nice (I used RMDB as a base but the sprites and groups are a bit different than my original mugen, so I had to edit my current mugen's system and cfg files). As I've said, I started to apply mugen_sprite_lover's sprites to the corresponding characters, and while it's still WIP (it took me a while to realize MSL didn't color index and I had to do that manually in GIMP), I like how they're coming along, esp King/Leona (been waiting for the two). Eventually, I may try to get in contact with him since it seems he lost Neo/Mugenhti as contributors, and drop him my characters. And lastly, my to-do list still has Riesbyfe on it, since she's got so many sprites that she can be fully H-compat with all rapers (I had gotten her fully compat before I lost my H-mugen, RIP).
The one thing I'd ask y'all (the vets in particular) is that I REALLY want the pregnant finisher sprites for the victims--it was originally a joker-only move, but was added to birdie/mino as an alternative finisher. I'd like to apply them to my characters to complete them, since it sucks to have the ugly face-with-boobs-in-the-wall alternative for the joker finisher. There were 4 sets of about a dozen characters each on the uploader, but for some reason, they mysteriously vanished and I can't seem to find them at all.
Does anyone know where they are, or can upload them?
Have there been any good Kuromaru/Minotaur victims recently?

Does anyone know where I can download the full QoF compilation. I know it is really big but most of the sites I had kept are dead so QoF seems the easiest way for me to get some characters I want like other Athenas.
There was a link to an online folder with it at post 62 but it seems that the link is unfortunately dead.
So apparently the principal forum which was mugen.crearforosex english edition is down
It's a shame since that seems to be the only place where we could get our hands on the most updated versions of h characters like tifa or dizzy
Nowadays the only compatible ones only include prehistoric versions of kuromaru's moves, not even to mention minotaur's almost 0% compatibilty.
I'm gonna search in an old drive i used to have, maybe they're somewhere there, and if i find them i'll upload them here.
But even the ones i think i have aren't the most updated versions.
Are they lost forever in the sands of time?!

You must be registered to see the links
, which is fairly well updated, though a pain to go through, since it's so comprehensive. But again, while the latter repository should be more than enough for those who want to bolster their mugen, I can't stress how important looking on your own and working on your own is.Since I haven't been posting (only lurking) here, I might as well share what I'm doing.
