Re: RJ113419 - Dungeons and Prisoners
It's not a bug, it's a feature. If you are deep in dungeon and don't have tp scroll from church it's game over, i think.
Hm. Also you can find flower monsters and suicide into them. You will be reborn in safe zone then.
Not game over, rather it's now hard-mode.
Monsters can drop TP scroll.
That said the chance of being able to fight that well after losing is rather unlikely so...
Yeah, once you're all the way down there, disarmed and surrounded you're in for the long haul. Sometimes you can get stuck in a loop without chance to interrupt for a long time.
But you can recover.
There are a few ways. When completely locked down, your best bet is to hope to pass out and wake up somewhere with fewer monsters. Otherwise, you're looking at just hanging in there till they tire themselves out at the same time as you have managed to catch a breath. Then take a swing at something, or throw out some spells (Blind is always handy and there are a few that will hit everything for a good chunk of damage). That'll probably mean you getting instantly dogpiled again, but most of the monsters in the game don't have regenerating health and once they're down they're out of the picture.
Essentially, hang in as long as you can and scratch, claw, bite and blast whenever you get the chance. Eventually they'll slip up and you'll either get a chance to grab a scroll and get out of there or you'll whittle them down enough to get free and get your feet properly under you again. If you can find your discarded weapon, or a bed to sleep in you've got the chance to go back on the offensive.
Admittedly, you'll sometimes spend rather a long time holding the fast forward button.
I used to enjoy going as deep into the infinite dungeon as I could, getting in way over my head and then trying to claw my way back out legitimately, no scroll. It's a good challenge, really forces you to learn the game.
