Caitlyn happily accepts the clothes, "Thank you so much. I'm sorry for my nudity." She looks around and sadly realizing there's no convenient private place to change, begins to dress right there in the shop. She pulls on the provided pair of panties and then the jeans.
"I don't know what's going on, even after hearing the Director's speech," she says, slipping into her new bra. "Do you work for her, too? Like that other woman? Shiva?" She puts on the t-shirt and looks back at the woman who provided them.
"I'm Caitlyn. Caitlyn Lyons. This was the only place that I saw anybody last night. . . aside from that strange girl at my church." She checks the ammunition in her .32 pistol, the only possession aside from her silver crucifix and glasses that she retained from the previous night.
"It's nice to meet you , Ms. Lyons, my name is Jesse. Yes, I do work for Mary, but please don't mind her behavior, it can be off putting. She tries her best to organize everyone, so that we're all contributing to the same cause."
Caitlyn nods, "I'm sure this must be a stressful time for everyone. She frowns slightly when she realizes how many round she fired off during the fight before. "I just wonder if maybe there might be a better way to handle things; if we could organize together and work as a group maybe we'd have better success. I don't think any of us elected her, after all."
With a sigh she sets her pistol down on the table, "I guess that if I'm going to be going out on 'missions', I should do my best to get equpped right. Can I wear that body armor over the top of my clothes?" She points.
Blushing, she quickly adds, "It's nice to meet you Jesse. I'm sorry, I'm usually much more thoughtful. Have you known Mary long?"
"We didn't have to elect her, in fact, she was the one who saved me... I don't know what I would've done without her."
The girl's eyes wandered for a second, them remembered herself.
After Caitlyn asked her about the armor, she shook her head.
"It wraps around your entire body, we were lucky to find these, as each part of the armor supports the other, making a fine protection against the monsters while being very light weight! It wouldn't offer as much flexibility if there were clothes under it... Nearly, none, I imagine"
"She saved you?" Caitlyn raises an eyebrow, "So. . . you've encountered some kind of. . ." She gestures vaguely, "Creature too? How long has this nightmare been going on?"
Caitlyn sets her gun down, "Okay, well I think that I should be able to afford that set of body armor; a first aid kit, since I can probably be more useful with that than with my pistol; and two more magazines for my .32."
She grins a little, "Don't worry, I'll take the armor up to my room to change this time. I'll leave my shirt and jeans here as casual wear."
"It was one of those horrid crabs, they crawl though the vents of buildings and sneak up on you... And they don't let go..."
Then, glee was suddenly on her face.
"That's when she came in, she just happened to be clearing the area with Shiva when they heard me scream, she bursted right in and shot it off of me! I've only seen her shoot once, but I think she's a marksman!"
Jesse seemed wrapped in the memory, as Caitlyn's comment evaded her.
(50 for clothes, 25 for magazine 1, 25 for magazine 2, 100 for first aid kit and 300 for armor = 500, right?)
"I see. . ." Caitlyn tilts her head, observing Jesse's reaction, "It sounds like you're quite fond of Mary. I'm glad that you've been able to find stay close with her." She tries her question again, "Have you been here at the inn for long? Since Mary saved you?"
Caitlyn nods, "It sounds like we're all lucky that she was here." She watches Jesse walk, wondering where she's going. "Wait," she blinks, "You'd be 'in some creepy den', so these things drag people off somewhere? Has Mary arranged any sort of rescue missions?"
She thinks back to the mysterious girl in the church, wondering again what her part in all of this might be. "You know, Jesse," she says, "I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't try to speak with the Director myself." She smiles, "I don't mean to bother you with all of these questions."
"Yes! But the dangers of going into a monster's den are great, so she only sends Shiva and her group to do the job, she doesn't want people being needlessly lost!"
I'm wondering if maybe I shouldn't try to speak with the Director myself.
"Thank you, Jesse," she smiles, "I'll be sure to stop by to see you again soon. And feel free to come and talk to me if there's anything you need." Caitlyn finishes her purchases and leaves the store, headed back to her room to change into her armor and stow the extra clothes.
Rin approuched the Shop lady, she was looking around at the various stuff at the shop...
(SHE'S PLANNING TO BUY SOMETHING BUT SHE HAVEN'T EVEN MET THE DIRECTOR YET~~!!!!)
(SHE WAS OUT WHEN MARY MADE THE SPEECH!!!!)
Rin was really interested at the guns, because she had remembered one of them.
The (Smith and Wesson)SW1911, a Single action pistol that holds 10 rounds of the .38 Super it uses.
She didn't know, however how to address the fact that she had no money to buy the gun and is only very interested at what the shop is displaying, instead of wanting to buy the guns themselves.
River wandered back in to the shop area, giving the shopkeep from before a friendly nod as she came to the counter.
"Hey there, I don't suppose you are able to repair clothing, can you? All I see here are jeans, and I'd rather keep these." She asks, indicating the somewhat torn behind of the pair of sport pants she has on.
