Ever since I started playing Hgames, it's always the ones with some sort of adventure involved that appealed to me. Games from groups like eushully, xuse, softhouse chara, etc. with a particular battle system, quests, and other misc things to do in between H scenes.

The other day I was browsing another H forums and made requests for games with "actual gaming involved in addition to good graphics and character design", and I was surprised to see that there's a lot of people that feel if you want to play games, should just grab a console game or something. What a hostile environment it was lol

Re: SLG/RPG discussion

I've seen this reaction too, and it saddens me. A game that can be solidly fun and sexy at the same time is a good thing! I remember a well-animated Hentai fighter game where the loser of each fight was stripped down and raped by the winner with good animations, good sounds, and reasonably good graphics, plus the fighting parts were actually well done. And the idea of RPGs with that sort of thing would be good too.

I think that the main problem is that the people who look for gameplay often want gameplay, and the people looking for porn often want fast porn. Very rarely do the two cross.

The "Sex Kitten RPG" flash game is a small example of mixing a small amount of RPG gameplay with smex however.

One reason why long games appeal to me is the fact that there generally is a proportional amount of CG with the same girl. When people collect porn, very often do they not just want "win", but instead "consecutive win" as some anon's would put it.

Visual novels can also get the job done, but I don't know, I seriously lack the patience to just sit there and hold ctrl or space bar, skipping through pages and pages of text and speech. At least with RPG's it's more interactive. Yes, CG sets, that's an idea.

I'm finding it hard to imagine a good mixing of game-you-play-for-gameplay and game-you-play-for-porn. As of now, I can only think of Milia Wars that mixes them the way I like (though, I'm probably really biased here).

Yeah, this seems like what I'm thinking. There's just some differences between the two that make them sort of exclusive.

On the subject of visual novels, it helps very much when the text is actually readable (Bible Black and stuff like that). Pretty much 90% of a visual novel's worth is lost if you can't read it.

i think the desire for some game with our porn is the reason why this site exists.

Readability is a huge factor.
Even when you're playing an RPG, if you can't read it...well you probably won't be too satisfied cause you'll be missing all sorts of sidequests here and there.
Or you probably can't even move on! (most of us probably experienced it with even small games from RPG maker)

Which I suppose might lead to the vast amount of play-for-porn games since most of them are small and hence have been translated.
