Sprite sex thread poll

The thread, being almost 4 years old, has 1.9m views and is still being updated on a regular basis. It currently contains 354 games featuring sprites engaging in sexual activities. I just wanted to know what people think of it and how often people come back to the thread to discover more sprite goodness.
I sure as hell don't think of stopping updating it in the near future, so don't worry about that, this is merely to see what people think of the thread and is it helpful in any way.

Also I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people that contributed to the thread and made it even better. You rock!

I glance at it occasionally but don't use it much. I will say that I think it is fantastic for people that are new to hentai. To them, that kind of reference is a treasure trove.

I don't really like games without sprite sex, so I check it pretty regularly to see if there's any I missed. It's definitely my most-visited thread on the whole site.

I would say thanks to Kiko who arranged this thread as neat as he can and the others who shared wonderful games here. Like others said this is very useful, especially for newcomers and such. Thanks for the help.

I've never even looked at it. That said my vote for : "It's completely useless" is more of a for me thing. I'm sure people that haven't played alot of the games on the list will find it helpful.

The problem with the sprite-sex thread is the same as with
satellite TV..

1000+ channels, but only like 5 of them are any good..

At least half of all the games in that list can be qualified under
"yes, it technically has sprite sex, in the same way a birthday cake
made out of cardboard and paste could technically be called cake,
but obviously, the two are different somehow."

With another 20% or so being "games that strictly involve a fetish you
don't like"

Another 5% being "games that are so riddled with moon-runes and gameplay
complications it's not worth the effort to even see the content".

That leaves 25% left, another 15% of that simply being "games that are
pretty decent, but just aren't worth keeping on your harddrive".

And with that in mind, the last 10% are games you pretty much just see on the 1st page of the forum, or
a few pages back, of which you either already have, or are just waiting to be created/updated.

.. So yeah, though it is often supported, and often peeked at, I don't think it's actually very useful.
.. Now maybe if there was a "list of GOOD games involving sprite sex".. Maybe we'd get somewhere..

The main problem with that list is it doesn't have features like tag searching or filtering to see what games came out recently, nor is there any thumbnail/gif for the games...

I wrote a program to build a database from user posts in a ULMF thread, output HTML+JS and upload the game database to a host (pastebin atm). After finishing it a month ago, I shelved it quietly because I hadn't asked the mods if they were fine with having a minimum impact automation tool running a thread.

If anything I also wished the list has more tags like reverse-rape, vore, etc. for each game since the list is so massive and it takes a bit to see what each one looks like.

Thanks everyone for your input, it's highly appreciated. I'm gonna adress a few things.

•Due to forum limitations the thread will currently not be changed aesthetically-wise
•I would add all of the fancy things, images, separate tags for different fetishes, reviews and a bunch of other things, but the forum's limitations simply won't allow me (25k character limit mostly).
•I would also convert the thread into a wikia, but that would simply take too much time that I (currently) don't have. I will keep this idea in my mind though, since I reckon it would be far more better than what we have now. But I would need help from someone from the forum, that is for sure.

I know the thread isn't really neat like the comprehensive patreon list, I swear If I had an idea like that when I started the thread it would be exactly like the patreon list.

If there's one thing I would change about it, it's having more than one link.

Some links are to the dlsite, where as other's it's to the ulmf thread. Other's it's to the mega download.

imo all 3 would be nice, but DEFINITELY a link to the thread and dlsite for sure.


One more thing; Phantom Buster Rumi is not side scrolling action. It's more of those torture games. I don't even think it had sprite sex.

I'm pretty sure supporting piracy is going to kill this industry's quality wanks and I really wouldn't suggest standardizing that unless you like dry spells and shovelwear.

That was actually pretty funny. Not because of the witty comment, but because it's almost as if you're insinuating you can't get free games here.

I prefer sex sprites instead of just picture, due to the fact the character's moans and movement makes it stand out. Pictures are great, just seems a little less modern . (Unless it's a very sexy picture with voices then HELL YEAH!!!!)

I used to visit back then and give a contribution or two, even until now, i still appreciate you for making that list happen, i had few problems, but it's not worth mentioning and they're mostly minors.
