Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Sure I can, but that would involve the washing machine and some time spent on drying the things." Luna replied, coming off more than a little snarky in her reply as she rolled around a bit.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Oh ha ha, alright hang on a minute. let me get some duct tape real quick," Adelle said, going to get a roll of the stuff, rolling a strip off backwards, to wrap around her hand, which she used to go across the top blanket to get the hair all gathered up, before climbing under the covers to go to sleep.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Since Adelle had no other ways about it, she had to utilize some tried and true methods to get the hair out of the bed while Luna looked on. It worked good enough, but it would probably still be best to wash the things sooner than later. With that shit out of the way, they could actually sleep.

The morning was there soon, Rose still being absent from the bed as Adelle came back to the waking world.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

When she woke back up the next morning, Adelle yawned and stretched, feeling more well rested than she had in previous days on the old bed. She didn't spot Rose, so figured the big girl hadn't come to bed the previous night, and got up to do her morning business in the bathroom and getting ready for the day, before checking in on her in the living room. "Morning Rose. You doing okay?" Adelle would say to the big girl, yawning again before she moved to the kitchen to do breakfast for them all, and asking Rose if she wished for some too, whipping them up some scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Going out of the room revealed that there had been some development with Rose, who had turned one of the smaller comfy chairs around and next to the window, which she was looking out of, observing the early morning outside. "Yes... I'm fine..." she would reply, not making any moves to get off the chair just yet. Buddy had moved in to occupy the couch as she was not there to sit on it. This time around, she actually did feel like eating a bit as she did ask for it when the busty girl began to make the breakfast items.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"See anything interesting out there hon?" Adelle asked Rose curiously, making some extra eggs, bacon, and toast for the larger girl in their house now.

When breakfast was ready, she set the table, and sat down to eat, stretching and starting on her food. "So Rose, I was gonna take you over to Josephine's shop today, to get you fitted with some clothes, so you've got more to wear than just that. She's good at what she does, and I'm sure that her fabrics are strong enough to be up there with what you've got," Adelle told Rose while they ate, taking a bite of her bacon, before drinking some of the glass of milk she'd gotten.

After they were done eating, and the dishes cleaned, Adelle got some clothes on, her pistol holsters on, and said pistols loaded too, before she walked out with Rose towards Josephine's, unless Rose didn't want to go at the moment that is.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Not too much... Just the street out there... but I saw a man go to the other house nearby... a little after you went to sleep... he was looking at this place a bit... both from outside and inside the next house... Is he one of those...neighbors I heard about..."" Rose replied, probably having seen Boris come home and check the going on as he had. The man had agreed to look after what was going on to Kozlov and Adelle both after all.

Eating was a bit of a deal for Rose, yet again another thing that her hand size made awkward, but she could make it after fiddling around a bit with the food and pinch-gripping each thing separately before simply eating them whole as she had the size for it. "If I have to..." she would speak up about the clothes, probably feeling fairly attached to her current getup, but she did appear to have some idea that her clothing would need to be changed eventually. They got everything cleared out eventually, from getting the food finished to washing plates and such. With no plan for her, Luna decided to play housekeeper and maybe clean things up around the house while the two others were away on their business.

Going around with Rose at the start of the day was not all that different from how it had been before, the size and look of her catching pretty much everyone's attention no matter what else was around. It did not appear to sit well with the girl herself, who was starting to look increasingly shy and bothered by all the looks she got. Thankfully they could get out from the busier streets soon to find Josephine in the act of opening up her store, the time being practically perfect for their approach.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Yeah, that's Boris, one of Kozlov's friends. He lives across the street and promised Koz that he'd keep an eye on the place, and me, for him," Adelle told Rose as she finished cooking.

"And Rose, you don't have to go really, if you don't want to. I won't force you to at least. But I don't mind buying you some clothes. I have to go out anyway to get some more groceries anyway, so I figured I'd be nice and get you some clothing to have too," Adelle told the big girl.

Seeing Luna was going to take care of the dishes, Adelle gave her a little hug, and thanked her, before going to grab her clothing and gear on, opting for just a simple white T-shirt and a pair of her Daisy Duke shorts. Adelle stayed with Rose the entire way, never leaving her sight, so that her new companion didn't get scared or anything. When they got within sight of Josephine's shop, Adelle gently took one of Rose's big hands in one of her own, and gently pulled her along to the store. "Hey... Josephine, are you in? I've got a new customer for you, and she needs good strong fabric for her clothes," Adelle called out into Josephine's shop.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Considering that Josephine had barely gotten herself into the store, calling for her was fairly unnecessary as she was right there. "Of course I'm here, silly. Where else would I be?" she replied before looking at the situation before her, the size of it making her look at the whole thing in a somewhat odd way. "I can, of course, if you have the money for it. I can say without checking that I need to make whatever you had planned from scratch, considering how big this young lady and those claws there are." she would eventually agree with the request without too much hesitation. "Did you have something specific in mind for me to make or what?"

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmm... well I've got some money saved up. So that shouldn't be a problem really. As for outfits... hmm... well. Rose, is there anything in particular you'd like? If not, then Josephine, make her something nice in terms of design, and Rose can choose the colors," Adelle replied with a shrug, looking over at Rose to see if there was anything in particular she wanted for design, and having her come over to look at the various different ones Josephine had in her books and whatnot.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I... well... I don't know really..." Rose replied, the spotlight turning to her clearly putting some pressure on the large girl. But it was probably a thing that Josephine was familiar with as she approached the possible client and took her hand in the most gentle imaginable way. "I'll show you my books then. See if you find something you like in them. On the counter here." she would say as she guided Rose to the counter and got a book out for her, flipping the pages for the girl as it was not probably the best idea to let her try it with her hands. They looked through the catalog of sorts, none of the regular options really getting much in the way of a response from Rose. But they did eventually stumble upon something which elicited a reaction from her, a bit surprising option to be honest. It was a set of more formal-looking clothing that looked like something an office lady or intern would wear, the set being made up from a pinstripe jacket, a tight miniskirt, a white undershirt, pantyhose and dress shoes. "That..." she would say as a rather surprised Josephine looked back and forth between the two of them.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle came over with Rose and Josephine, looking through the pages of Josephine's book too for something interesting for herself perhaps. Adelle was a little surprised at Rose's decision of the first outfit she picked out, but didn't criticize Rose about it, merely smiling and nodding. "Alright then. There any others you see you might want to try too?" Adelle said when Rose had pointed her suit out. "I'd say I got enough for two or three decent outfits. Plus there's also just the plain old clothes on the racks as well all around the store, though even those might need to be specially fixed," she went on to say.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Not for that kind of size. Might as well make everything from the ground up than attempt to refit the things around the store on the lady here. It's basically the same amount of effort anyways." Josephine quickly brushed off any suggestions trying to make refitted clothes from the storefront items. Rose soon got another reaction, this time to a set of leather stuff made from a corset dress, a leather jacket and some boots. Everything was black and shiny, the skirt again being kinda short. Despite her apparent modesty, the large girl did appear to gravitate towards tiny skirts for some reason. "Tha one? I can make you a vest and some detached sleeves for the jacket, there's no way I can make a wearable jacket out of leather. I'm sure you understand." Josephine would go on in her sales pitch as she gave the large girl a friendly look, finding Rose agreeing as she did not appear to want any conflict to arise from her choices.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"That's true I guess. She can at least look at the styles though," Adelle said with a shrug, before looking back to Rose. "Yeah, leather's tight, so sleeves might be hard to do without your claws cutting them. Hmm... I wonder if we can find some stretchy fabric, that you could make the inside of a jacket or coat the stretchy stuff, with a leather outer layer or something. Either way, Rose, pick you out some stuff, and we'll have Josephine fix it up for you," Adelle went on to say, before browsing around while Rose picked out some more stuff.

Adelle decided to pick herself up a few more T-shirts, jeans, lounging pants, and shorts of various kinds and colors, so she'd have some work clothes and some to just wear around the house. When Rose was through picking out a few things for herself, Adelle would bring her things up and pay for them, and Rose's new clothes. After they were through with their clothes shopping, Adelle would head on towards the market for some groceries, picking up all the essentials like toilet paper, toothpaste, some razors, etc... and then focusing on getting enough food to last them a couple of weeks or so.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Going on a little further, Rose got a third option from the book of styles, this last one being a little less eye-catching than her previous options as it was a simple red, ribbed sweater that looked fairly mom-like, a plain yet still maybe needlessly short skirt coming with it. One could only question if Rose was doing that on purpose. Again, Josephine made it a point to have the sleeves separate, assuring that it would only require some tailored zipper work to make the clothes fit. While Adelle picked her own things, the two others spent some time with a tape measure to get the necessary specs for the matron of clothing to be able to perform. It was a relatively costly visit this time around, the three large custom articles making a dent in Adelle's wallet, but Josephine stated that she would make this order a reality like any other, no matter how much material it would take.

They eventually left for the next point in the trip, which was the necessities for food and living in a house. The store was like it usually was, Rose still gathering all the attention and then some with her outlandish appearance. It did not stop them from gathering up the groceries though, and soon they had basically everything that Adelle imagined they needed from there.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Alright Josephine, thanks. Money is no object here. Rose needs some extra clothes, so it's not a problem," Adelle said when Josephine said what she did.

After they left Josephine's with Adelle's new clothes, and the promise of Rose's soon to be finished clothes, Adelle led them to the store for groceries, and picked up all they needed. Once they had all the household essentials, along with food, Adelle carried the bags, with Rose's help if she didn't mind helping to carry a few, and led them back home. "Well I should still have enough left to pay Kozlov for the house. But all in all I came out better than I expected on money," Adelle commented as they made their way back home. "Well Rose, I hope you like the clothes, when they get done," she added to her big companion.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Given her size, it was easy for Rose to carry pretty much everything, the tips of her claws being all that was needed to take everything along just like that. "It'll be... new... but I'll get used to them... I hope..." she would mention her clothes as they reached the house. Luna had done a little work as they had been around, the bedsheets spinning in the washing machine at the moment, but was more focused on the book of spells herself. Buddy and Banie were fighting for the dominion over the couch, the former having the upper hand due to his larger size.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I'm sure you will hon, you're really pretty, and as soon as folks around town get used to seeing you somewhat, they won't eye you so much I'm sure," Adelle said, smiling softly as they got back home, where she found the blankets in the wash, thankfully.

After she put everything away, Adelle sat down on one of the kitchen chairs, sighing softly as she leaned back a bit. "Whew, now that's all done... what to do. Hmm... I guess I could see if the wrestling place is back up yet, maybe head over there and get a match in for a bit of extra cash. Or could just laze about. The former seems more interesting," Adelle said to herself, pondering what to do now, as she didn't really have anything to do that day, as she'd decided to take the day off from guild work.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The dispute of the couch was eventually settled as Rose moved in to sit herself on there, causing the two fighters to evacuate as a large butt settled down on on the place between them. They would each claim a smaller chair instead, letting the clawed lady take control of the main couch instead as they did not appear to have the daring to challenge her for the place. She did not have much to say, but Luna did chime in, questioning Adelle's career choices when she mentioned the wrestling spot.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmm? Oh it's this place the biker gang I worked with have. After their boss got slaughtered, they shut it down. It's been more than a week or two since that incident, so I figure they might have reopened it by now. I might as well go check it out, see what's what over there. The wrestling can be a bit... lewd. But it's fun, and pays well enough," Adelle replied when Luna asked about the wrestling place, deciding she might as well go check it out and see if it was open again or not, not minding either of the girls coming with her.
