Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Yer a lewd." Luna stated about it all, sounding like someone completely different for just those words. But she did not say anything else about it, knowing that it was for money and there worse things to be done for earning one's pay. For her part, she was not particularly interested in seeing what was going on there, but Rose decidee to tag along, saying that she would need to see the city and get familiar with it and it's ways, staying at home not really helping with that too much.

They would leave the house then, Luna remaining a home guard for now as they went. The going had not changed much along the way, all the unnecessary attention still finding it's way to Rose on the more busy streets. A smoke pillar could be seen from the direction of the wrestling place from some distance away, and as they got closer, it was basically confirmed that something had gone down there as they could see a horde of bikes and bikers at the front. The front was completely ashen and blackened, with smoke rising out from the missing windows. It looked like a bomb had gone off in the building.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hmhm, maybe I am lewd. But that wrestling place was fun as hell," Adelle giggled back at Luna. "And alright Rose, come on then. I can show you around a bit while we're on the way there," she added to the big girl.

Heading on out with Rose, Adelle showed her around as they made their way to the wrestling place. When they got close enough to the place though, Adelle saw the smoke coming up and kept moving, until they saw the building in ruins, with smoke pouring out of broken windows.

"Well, I guess Miguel hit them then most likely. Sorry bastard," Adelle said under her breath, before taking Rose and heading onward, deciding to go to the bar to have a drink, and on the way she'd explain to Rose who Miguel was, and his followers, and warning her about them and to keep clear unless she had no other choice. "They're sorry assholes," Adelle comment about Miguel and his thugs.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

As the girls turned away to make their way to the new location, the roar of bikes signaled the bikers leaving as well, the load of them driving past them without a second look. By the many severe expressions passing by, one could easily tell that these guys were not going for a fun ride. No, there would probably be hell raised in somewhere soon. A massive bike stopped near them, the rider being the fierce, heavily tattooed fat dude Pitbull, the other maintainer of order when it was time to wrestle. "I don't think you need to be told that the gig is off, probably for a good long while. Someone decided to set off a massive fire bomb here in our fun avenue, everything's gone to shit. If you see some of us around in a bar or something and want to party, just ask them and mention who you are, they'll probably let you hang out." he would tell Adelle as he did appear to remember her, driving off afterwards to join the rest of the two groups.

The walk to the bar was yet uneventful, save for the numerous staring people that had Rose in their sights as she came into view. At the bar itself, it was business as usual.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle was a bit miffed about the whole place being destroyed like it was, and when the one biker, Pitbull, that she recognized from the place stop to talk, she stopped moving and looked over to him. "Well shit. Sorry to hear that Pitbull. Was a good place to make some cash and have some fun too. Lemme know if you guys set up somewhere else. I'll be over at the Hunters bar on most days. Stay safe out there, and I'll bet it was Miguel that did this," she told Pitbull before waving him along, and heading to the Hunter's bar.

Once there, with Rose getting more stares along the way, Adelle went in with Rose, and sat down at one of the smaller tables, meant for two, and ordered herself a drink, and one for Rose if she wanted one. She wouldn't go to Samson to ask for a job, though if he came to offer her one, she would listen and probably not refuse outright.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The bar was being it's usual self as the girls got there, the barkeep knowing what to get out as soon as he saw them coming, though he looked a bit puzzled as to what to make for Rose. His question was answered quickly though as the large girl declined any potential alcoholic drinks, the man behind the counter setting her up with a glass of water as he heard it. At that time, a few of the more bold regulars among the clients stepped forward, three of them coming over to see what the new hotness was about. They were obviously flirting with Rose as they kinda surrounded her, putting her into another hard spot as she had no idea how to deal with the sudden interest from these men. Samson looked like he has been expecting Adelle for another job request, but did look like he was a bit relieved too to not need to task her with something.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle was actually kind of surprised that Rose didn't want to try the alcoholic drinks, but didn't mind really. "Come on guys, give her some room okay. She's a little shy about crowds, but I'm trying to help her get used to them," Adelle told the guys that were crowding in around Rose.

When she spotted Samson, she gave him a nod, and told Rose she'd be right back, and told the guys again to please give Rose a bit of room. Adelle would lean in to whisper to Samson what she'd found out around the biker's wrestling club place, and that she suspected it was Miguel. "You heard anything else about him targeting the other gangs around in the last couple of days or so? And don't worry, I'm not here for a job today. Figured I'd bring Rose over to help her get used to the bar, since I figure she'll be seeing it somewhat in the near future, if she works with us any," Adelle would ask Samson after informing him of the situation at the biker club.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"No, not really. But there is a thing that was seen by Yunio last evening after I sent her to keep an eye out on the mansion of that man. She managed to catch a view of Margaret leaving that place before being detected and leaving, and she had a bruise on her face. Maybe he did not like the fact that the leader of the church people made it out alive. If that was something that he did, the man might not be having a good time soon. If Margaret decides to turn against him, it won't be pretty for anyone involved." Samson shared some info he had acquired after sending a lookout to spy on Miguel, the reveal being an obvious tell that despite their business contracts, the guy did not appear to get along too well with the fearsome Margaret. As for Rose, he simply acknowledged what was going on and did not really appear to have any issues with her being there. The guys did not get much out of the large lady, who was far too awkward to really get any replies out to their obvious flirt.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Heh, I'm actually surprised he hasn't sent another attack on me, to be honest. And... I'll let Mariela know about that, unless you think I shouldn't that is. Keep me updated please, on Miguel's movements, I wanna know if he's gunning for me, so I can prepare myself," Adelle said, nodding as she sipped on her drink, glancing back at Rose to check on her before turning back to Samson. "And also, if you get any interesting jobs you think I might be able to handle, or might like to try and tackle, lemme know okay. You guys know where I live and stuff," she said after a few moments, nodding to Samson before heading back to hers and Rose's table, retaking her seat and sipping her drink while Rose drank her water.

"Well Rose, are you getting hungry again, by chance? If so, I can get us a snack," Adelle asked Rose, smiling at the big girl, though if she didn't want anything to eat, Adelle would let her be for now on that front, and would move on to point out the familiar faces in there at the moment while they passed the time and relaxed.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Maybe he doesn't want to lose more underlings. Or there might be something keeping him busy at home. Yunio is on the case still, so we'll get the information if something big or even small happens and she take notes." Samson explained that the scout and spy was still doing her job and gathering what intel she could from the palace vicinity.

"No thanks... the nutrion stuff is probably still working as I don't feel any hunger... Even the breakfast was more... out of courtesy than any real need..." Rose would reply as the two looked around, not too many actual familiar members of the group being present but Kozlov was there. And after a bit of time, the foursome of sisters entered, once again in union as a single unit.

"M'kay, thanks Samson. I appreciate it," Adelle told him before returning to Rose.

After returning to hers and Rose's table, Adelle sat down and listened to the big girl's reply, and nodded. "Well, you didn't have to force yourself. I hope it was good though, at least," Adelle said, pointing Kozlov out to Rose, before Mariela and the others all came in, where Adelle waved to them. "You've met Rachaela already. The sword wielding one, is Mariela, the nun there is Lacrimosa, and the gunner is Isabella. They're the ones who helped me out a few weeks ago when I first started working here," Adelle told Rose when the sisters came in, introducing them all when they were close enough, or at least pointing each one out.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Alright but... why are they all dressed like that?" Rose asked before there could be any real introductions, probably doing a good move and not asking that to the group's faces as it was still a bit unknown as to why they put themselves into their chosen get-ups. And if the outbursts that Mariela had shown when she had gotten her dresses torn was of any indication to the rest of the group and their relationships with the clothes, they were serious about it all.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"I... don't know all the details, honestly. But I know that they've done it since well before I met them. But they're all good people I think," Adelle replied to Rose, really unsure of why the girls dressed the way they did, but not criticizing their choices of attire.

Adelle waved them over and proceeded to introduce the others to Rose, minus Rachaela, as she'd met her already the previous night. "Girls, this is Rose," Adelle told the girls after introducing each of them to Rose. "So what brought you girls in today?" Adelle asked them curiously after introductions were made.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

The circle of greetings went by as usual, the sisters not really appearing to have a problem with what they were seeing. Maybe Rachaela had already tipped them off that there might be something like meeting a huge albino girl coming in the immediate future. The group took it upon themselves to sit down, Mariela and Isabella doing some stowing of weapons as they set their implements against the table edges, the latter setting down some variety of older military bolt rifle while the former set aside a heavy, rough-looking single-edged sword that was probably as devastating as it was mean-looking. And while she made no effort to remove it, Lacrimosa had her piledriver gauntlet along, a few small hisses of steam escaping the thing now and then.

"Believe it or not, we are looking to get some work done. Been just sharpening and maintaining these things for two days, gotta scratch the itch and hopefully hit something. All that maintenance isn't going to be for nothing." Mariela replied to the question, her hand never straying too far from the handle of the sword. The other three were in agreement over this, in less aggressive ways for sure.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle nodded when the girls sat down and Mariela answered her question. Adelle glanced over to Samson and then back to the girls, before leaning in. "Well, I guess I should fill you four in on what I heard. Remember that biker bar, the one with the sexy wrestling thing they do? Place got firebombed earlier today. I headed over there after Rose and I went shopping for groceries and stuff, found it burned to hell. And Samson told me that he got word that Miguel doesn't seem to be too thrilled with Margaret," Adelle said, leaning in and speaking low to them so they were the only ones that heard her, and going over what all Samson had told her earlier.

"So be careful out there, okay girls," Adelle told them after she had filled them in, sipping her drink and sitting back in her seat to relax a bit.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Going through the story mostly made Mariela grab her blade tighter, the mention of Margaret probably raising her blood pressure a good bit. But at the same time, the possible rift between the gang boss and her appeared to be making the whole group feel a bit better about it all, as none of them had felt too comfortable about it being a thing. "Well, that's a loss I guess. But I think the whole city is probably better off without those two acting against it in unison. Margaret and the paid killers she runs with these days are better off not working for someone like him." Rachaela basically solidified their collective opinion on the matter in a few choice lines. After a few moments of further sitting, the foursome collected themselves and their weapons off from the table, switching over to Samson's table instead where they started to discuss a possible job with the man.

"What an odd bunch... but... they appear to be good people..." Rose said after they had moved on, having remained wordless and tense through the entire time the girls had been there with them.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Aye, and considering the fact that Margaret's about killed me... twice now... or was it three times, anyway, she's about killed me a time or two at least. But considering that, this might be the best news we could have heard about the whole situation," Adelle replied, after Rachaela spoke, nodding in agreement. "Hey, you four be careful out there, alright," Adelle told them, as they switched tables to Samson's, to talk about a job with him she figured.

"Yeah Rose, they are pretty good people. They all got their kinks and stuff. But they're all nice and have helped me out a lot. Hell, without then I wouldn't have joined the Hunters here and gotten plenty of work," Adelle told Rose, shrugging a bit as she sat there and sipped her drink. "Anyway though Rose. If you ever get bored back home, and want something to do, you can come by here and talk to Samson over there about a job. He'll tell you what you'll need to do for each job, whether it's cleaning out some rodents in or near the sewers, or what have you, and when you return after the job's done, he'll pay you for it. The tougher the job, the more you get paid," she went on to say.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Oh... okay... If they believe I can do something like that... I'll maybe give it a try soon..." Rose agreed, with some hesitation to be found in her statement for sure.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Hey hon, I'm sure you could manage easily enough without much trouble. But I could walk you through one later, if you like. I planned on taking today off, and seeing if Samson's got anything going on tomorrow most likely, depending on how I feel tomorrow and all, of course," Adelle told Rose, finishing the rest of her drink, and asking Rose if she wanted to go ahead and leave, and if she did, Adelle would lead the way home, and really she'd just laze about for the rest of the day and evening, doing household chores, such as laundry and whatnot, and fixing up her front door window.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

"Ahh... alright then..." Rose agreed to go for a job, though it still sounded fairly hesitant a statement.

Before the girls could make any moves towards leaving, the doors were opened as a pretty darn handsome, hunky dude with the most epic jawline entered. He looked more than a bit out of place, having no shirt on and simply wearing a bow tie, dress pants and shoes. But he was by no means unarmed despite his lack of a shirt, having a P90 submachine gun hanging on a strap from his belt, ready to go in case there was a rumble. They did not do much looking around, bee lining himself straight to Adelle's table and addressing her directly with a quick "Miss" before handing her a sealed envelope and taking a few steps back. "Please read it, I'll wait for you as it is not my business what is written there." he said, basically stating that he wanted to give her the privacy for reading the letter. Assuming the busty girl opened the letter, she would find it to be an invitation for a chat with Liliana, the owner of the huge brothel where she had been before to see that meeting of the crime lords.

Despite the men at the bar having picked up a habit of following Adelle's exploits and the various ladies she brought in, they appeared to be a bit disappointed with her as there was this dude now instead of another girl there because of her.

Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)

Adelle smiled at Rose, and was about to tell her that they could get a job tomorrow together, before she saw the rather handsome guy come in, shirtless. She didn't know what to make of him at first, but as he came over to her, and handed her the envelope, Adelle took it and was starting to put two and two together. After reading the thing, Adelle looked back up to him and nodded. "If you're waiting for me, then lemme finish my drink first. But if you don't need to wait for me to go with you, then go let her know that I'll be over that way shortly. It'd be better if I drove my bike, so I can make a quick getaway if need be," Adelle told the guy, waiting for his answer before making her decision on whether or not to go now.

Assuming he was wanting her to go now, she'd down her drink, and tell Rose that she'd drop her off back home first, and let Luna know where she was going, and then head on to Liliana's. If she didn't have to follow him right now, Adelle would finish her drink quickly, but not in one go, and pay for it all, and head back home with Rose, telling Samson where she was heading just in case she needed backup. Once she'd dropped Rose off back home, she'd get her bike and drive over to Liliana's place.
