Re: Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)
"If you want to throw your weight in there, but try not to hit Iris." Liliana stated in a hassle as the two of them scrambled behind the couches, which was not the best of cover one could find, but it was probably the best for any clear lines of sight. She reached for something under that particular couch, pulling out a nasty-looking thing with a tank on it instead of a magazine. Who knew what was in it. "If I get a-" they tried to carry on but there was a thump as the ratman was thrown inside and against the wall opposite of the balcony, a bloody trail following as his severed gun-arm landed into the middle of the room, still desperately holding onto the gun even after it had been removed. Iris quickly followed up as she returned to the fray, aiming to sever both of his legs with one harsh blow, but the crippled rat was not one to completely give in just yet as he hopped over the horizontal sweep, drawing a curved machete-length knife with some wicked serrations on it from the folds of his robes with his remaining hand. Despite the mask and a possible blindness, Iris perfectly tracked him even across the air, the flared and now bloodied tip of her sword-plate crushing the severed limb and the gun in it with a quick down thrust before she took up a defensive posture between the two parties involved.
