With only one room left to investigate, there was fairly little to see in the remaining staff area. This particular room was a storage area, but the storage seemed to be for furniture pieces and long-deceased computers. On the surface at least, that was the looks of the room.

Adelle led the way to the last room, where they found nothing upon entry, but it looked a bit... off, Adelle thought to herself. It was just a storage room sure, but there had to be something of note inside, surely. Adelle would move over and investigate the storage boxes and whatnot to see if anything was left in there that might be worth anything, maybe a computer or something, because surely one of those would be worth money, or maybe she could even use it herself.

With Rose keeping herself in the corridor, Adelle made the search by herself. Even as she looked, there was little to be found among all the boxes besides some horribly old items of little practical use. Some of the computers looked like they might be in working condition or work after some basic maintenance, so those were an option to loot if desired. Finally, going through the five lockers revealed only more things of low importance, but the final one was occupied as a long-dead skeleton clattered out of it when the door was opened. The thing broke up into bones as it hit the floor, leaving behind folded-up knife that it had held in it's hand. It was a fairly large thing for a folder, having a curved blade with the oddly serrated edge on the inside, and a brand marking that vaguely resembled a spider near the folding point.

"Hmm, definitely come back for these computers later. This would make a nice haul to take back to sift through and see if I can find someone that wants to buy them off me," Adelle mumbled to herself as she searched the containers and lockers in the storage room.

Opening the last locker though caused an old skeleton to fall out of it at her feet, crumbling to dust practically as it landed. Looking down at the folder, Adelle picked it up and opened it up with a curious look on her face, wondering just what it had written in it and stuff, that this person, whoever he or she was, would protect it with their life. It must be quite important, Adelle told herself as she opened it up to look inside.

Aside from the spider brand marking and the round opening hole, there were no real indications as to who had made it and for what reason. Turning it around to check the other side revealed a little though as there were some words engraved to the other side. "Be safe daddy" were written out there, probably giving an idea as to how the skeleton had ended up having it and why they still had it even in the final resting place that was the locker. Maybe the prison had experienced a riot in the distant past.

Seeing the message on the back of the knife, Adelle sighed softly and couldn't help but feel sad for whoever this poor man had been. He'd had a daughter who definitely had loved him very much, and he'd died such an undignified death as this, during what could only have been a riot of some sort. "Rest in piece, sir. Whoever you may have been," Adelle muttered softly under her breath for the man as she closed it back up.

After she'd checked the back of the knife and stuff, she gently put it back in where she'd found it. "I don't think there's anything else in here hon. But I suppose I could shift the lockers around a bit to see though," Adelle said to Rose as she shifted the lockers around a bit to see if anything was behind them.

The lockers, being empty, were simplicity itself to move as there was barely any weight there. But moving them proved to be unnecessary as there was nothing else besides a cold wall behind them.

After checking the rest of the storage room and whatnot and finding nothing, Adelle sighed and headed back to the corridor and nodded to Rose for them to move on. "Let's move on then I guess hon. Might as well since there's nothing else in here from the looks of it," Adelle said, leading the way onward, making sure to check their surroundings and peek around every corner just in case.

"I suppose we should... but where did you want to go? There are a few options there. Outside... or the two separate areas back on the sides of the building... back we came in here from." Rose questioned their next place to look for as they had a few options to go to. And she was right, there was the inner yard and the wings to search for still as the staff areas had not yielded much besides the launcher and some fights to the two.

"Hmm... yeah I suppose we should head back out and move around to the sides of the building. Let's check the right wing side first, and then the left," Adelle replied, stepping back out towards the entrance to head towards the right wing of the prison, and keeping a close eye out for anything that might try and attack them.

Going back to the main lobby, the twosome made way to the right wing of the once-prison. Just as they made it through the double doors that were doubled up for increased security, the two found the fairly open main cell block waiting beyond. The place was more or less infested by the same plant growth that had been in the two other rooms before, but it was hard to tell about any potential threats as there was far more plant matter present than the other rooms in here. Some of the thicker trunks and vines had short, wriggly tentacles of their own moving around, but unfortunately those were the only moving, maybe potential pests one could detect from the initial look.

Making their way to the right wing of the prison, Adelle looked around at all of the plant growth all over the place and was a bit surprised that anyone might be in here hiding, when the plant things in the previous area had tried to do things to both her and Rose. "Well, let's stick together here and just look around I guess. Probably the best thing we can do," Adelle whispered to Rose as she took point and held her pistol at the ready, just in case as she started forward, trying to stay in the middle of the hallway between the cells, so nothing from inside the cells could easily grab her.

The two moved onwards despite the presence of the abnormal plant life, finding most of the first cell pairs positively infested with the things. The insides seemed to contain the same variety of bulbs as the ones met before, growing on larger trunks that had grown inbthe cells, but they were of no real threat as they could not move, just like before. But a more pressing matter did come into play as they made it further, near the halfway of the block corridor. A rather large clump of thick vines dropped from the ceiling a little ways forward from them, gathering itself up into a humanoid shape of intertwining plant coils as it rose up from the floor. The collective mass was a match for Rose in size, maybe even a bit bigger than her. This one, unlike the other plant monsters from before, did not seem to possess a clear weak point, at least not at the initial encounter.

"W-Wow... that's a lot of those plant things. Let's... steer clear of those if we can," Adelle muttered softly to Rose as they walked along the corridor of cells.

As they continued onward, and Adelle spotted the large plant matter mass of vines and whatnot, she gasped softly. "W-Well shit. That's... going to pose a problem... a Big problem at that," Adelle grumbled, checking her pack to see if she had any of her incendiary rounds left for her bigger pistol she'd gotten from Miguel on that one job she did for him, and preparing to load one or two into said pistol to shoot at the large plant creature thing if it came towards them in a hostile manner.

The large monstrosity was of course coming at them, having somehow detected the presence of something that was not supposed to be there in the plant kingdom. Adelle had her special rounds still, so those could end up being useful with this thing. Taking the shots, she managed to land one, the second going over as the creature tipped itself forward, starting to come at them on all fours and at a decently scary speed too. "Should I take the front here?" Rose stepped on up, coming right behind Adelle and preparing to step past her on the somewhat narrow corridor.

"Y-Yeah, you probably should. Don't let it grab you if you can, and we'll hack away at it... hopefully. Or if I can find my bullets, we'll burn it," Adelle replied softly as she dug around in her pack for her incendiary rounds.

Loading a couple into her bigger pistol, she fired and landed one of them, while she loaded to more quickly into the cylinder of her pistol and fired from around Rose's right side, taking more careful aim, before firing this time, and if the thing was still coming after this, then she'd put her pistol away and pull her short sword out to start cutting it to pieces with Rose's help.

There was time for one more shot before the creature was upon them, and aiming paid off as Adelle made the shot count, scoring another solid hit on it. But it was not be stopped however as it crashed forward despite the searing bullet tearing into it, the crawling stopping as tve thing rose back to two feet, Rose coming to meet it head-on as the two heavies clashed in the middle of the corridor. They exchanged blows, limbs colliding once before it turned into a grappling match, neither really giving away as they seemed to equal each other in strength. But the plant monster had a trick up it's non-existent sleeve, and while it did not have the power to push the large girl back, some of it's arm-vines began to creep up, going on past the girl's claws and attempting to creep up her arms to establish some form of control over the situation while the remaining parts still held the pushing contest at a stalemate.

Having only time for one shot before the thing was upon them, Adelle took careful aim and fired, but when the thing continued towards them, Adelle's eyes went wide. "Oh shit..." Adelle mumbled as Rose and the plant like beast clashed in the middle of the room.

Adelle watched carefully to try and find an opening to get around behind the thing while it was busy trying to grapple Rose in its tentacled grip. "H-Hang on Rose, I'm not gonna let it grab you if I can help it," Adelle muttered to Rose as she slipped around to the more open side of the two and tried to get behind the thing to slash at it and hopefully prevent Rose from being too bound up by the thing.

Going around to look for a more advantageous spot for some hacking with a blade, Adelle had to slip herself around the two small titans testing mettle in the corridor, finding it not quite as risk-free a proposition as initially thought. The large monster had a lot of mass to utilize, so it slapped and whipped towards her with some vines that separated from it's body as she went by, but it was of no real threat as the flails missed her just by a small enough distance. But, it was not quite all roses though as the busty girl made a mistake herself as well, getting her blade knocked off from her hand as she tried to make the swing the creature's rear flank as the flailing vines hit hard on the side of the blade and her incoming hand. The blade flying away was a hassle but it was only a few feet behind her, easily within reach.

On the other side, Rose too was not having the best of times, the weight of her claws appearing to work against her in these scenarios by the looks of it. While she was holding her ground, she was not really getting herself free from the oncoming vines, which kept on crawling forward along her arms. The creature, probably sensing opportunity, started to move it's body towards the large girl while maintaining a grapple stalemate with it's limbs still.

Thankfully as she darted past the two, Adelle was able to slip by without getting grabbed by the creature's vines, and she breathed a sigh of relief as she got past it and turned around. Things went a little badly for her though as she swung her wakizashi at the thing and ended up getting the thing knocked out of her hands by the plant's vines. "D-Dammit," Adele growled softly as she rushed to grab her blade back up.

She glanced back as soon as she had it in hand again, and saw Rose being overwhelmed by the plant mass, and she dashed back at the thing and jumped onto its back and held on with her left hand, and started hacking away with her right which held her wakizashi. Her intention here was to make the thing stop pressing forward onto Rose in hopes of buying her some time to push back against their foe, with Adelle's blade aiming primarily for any vines that looked more vital than the rest.
