Steel Sky (Adelle/Mind Flayer)


Once there was some sort of calm established, some of the gloves would look like they were paying attention, the way the floated in the air almost looking like they were a group of people looking at Adelle. One of them would point out to the others, a few of them leaving back to the other room as the ones still there carried out a stripping operation on the girls, getting the remaining clothes off of them and stuffing them into a leather bag that was brought in. While it was not certain to Adelle as to what the spirits were agreeing to with her, there was something they would show their approval to as there was a bunch of thumbs up to be seen. The gloves would certainly take the given restraints if Adelle handed them over, but they were otherwise seemingly bound to being in their current form, or possibly remove them to become invisible, intangible presences. However it was, they didn't seem to be capable of shifting over and manifesting inside the ropes or wire.

The golem would look at Adelle, showing it's hand at her and closing it, suggesting that it was indeed capable of grabbing people, even bigger ones as it had done with Rose earlier. And that would mean it wasn't going to have trouble with the men either, who were smaller than Rose. While this was happening, it still remained holding onto the large girl's hand, staying closw to her despite having let her go. She didn't know anything about them, but they seemed like they would definitely be hostile. She had to wonder actually if maybe they worked for Miguel... as he Had sent those goons to rough her up, or potentially kill her. She wanted to capture them if possible, to find out.

Adelle could only hope that there weren't more than just those three guys, or at least not many more. If there were... well she knew they'd have to be much more careful. So, as she made her way down with the others in tow, Adelle would creep, knowing that the spirits wouldn't harm them or try anything lewd for now. She would pause and check around every corner as they went, and she thought she recognized the the outfits they had, and it was worrisome that it seemed that it could be the biker gang had allied with Miguel potentially.

When she would spot the men down there, Adelle would peek around the corner to see if she recognized any of their faces from the biker bar. She didn't really care one way or the other if she did, but she just wanted to know. Either way, she would motion to Rose and Taio to come over. "Mmm... there they are. There's..." Adelle would whisper, counting off how many she'd spotted, and where they were, formulating the plan of action to take them down.
 
Going down to the square corridor that housed the many offices and such would let the girls catch a peek at two different men walking away from them, having left a nearby room. The gang patch on their jackets was one that Adelle couldn't identify from previous encounters with the more tolerant groups she had dealt with, so it was safe to assume they weren't part of that crew. On the other path going forward from them, they'd be able to see one of the robots on treads in front of what she remembered was the security room, another point of interest for them to possibly check out.
 
Adelle was glad that she didn't recognize any of the gangsters in there, though when she spotted the robots, she had to assume that they were not in fact old bots that had been inhabited by spirits. This was good... that meant they could go ham on those, and destroy them as needed. She would ease back around the corner and would nod to the others. "I think there's five of them, maybe more. I saw two more that I didn't see before from the box we hid in, Taio. I'd prefer to capture all of them. But we don't put ourselves at great risk to try. If we have to kill, well... they chose this path in life," Adelle whispered quietly to the others, spirits and all.

She didn't know precisely just how many there were altogether. But she had to assume that there were more than five, surely. She would make sure no one was watching, and motioned to the girls to wait, where she quickly and quietly eased around the corner and poked her head around to look into the room those two had left, got a quick glance inside, and returned to where the others were to inform them of what she'd seen. Which was hopefully the kidnapped people.
 
"I make no promises." Taio would already be feeling the handle of her knife despite having been mostly on the gun this trip, probably getting excited at the prospect of fighting close and bloody with someone.But mostly they would agree to try and get the most captures if possible.

Going to take a peek would prove to be a mistake, the look not ending up being as discreet as Adelle might have imagined. She'd catch sight of two more men sitting around in that former office room turned into a living space, along with a woman of some animal persuasion as she had animal ears, a tail and grey skin to go with her rough way of dress. And this one would be the one who spotted her, instantly starting a loud call out to catch the men's attention and confirm she had seen someone not supposed to be there as she got up to look what was going on.

Adelle smirked a bit and nodded. "Don't put yourself at any risk if you can help it, to capture any. But try and at least capture one, so we can get answers," Adelle whispered, leaning over and quickly sneaking a kiss on her lips.

When she quickly went to peek in, she rushed back to the corner, but didn't hide. She wanted to draw them all out towards them if she could, but she did wink over at Rose and Taio, and motioned to the others to get ready, spirits and all. As soon as their enemies rushed out, Adelle would smile at them, as she stood there leaning against a box or something to hide the alien blaster behind so they didn't spot it. "Hello there everyone... I take it you're the ones that had those zappy zap mechs out in the front of the place then?" Adelle would ask them, watching to see if they would group up some, and waiting for the right moment and firing two nets into their group before rushing at them, which was the signal to Taio and Rose and the spirits to come out too.
