Testing the defenses with a few quick jabs Farroe manged to keep the pressure up while keeping her guard secure. Thankfully Issa didn't seem experienced enough to exploit the small opening Farroe left as she struck with her only attack being a quick jab that was easily deflected. However the girl was lithe and quick on her feet. "Humm you seem to be my opposite Farroe capable of powerful attacks. Though Im much faster on my feet. This should be a good match. The crowd for the most part was silent content for the moment to watch as the fight progressed.

Farroe could tell from how Issa was guarding herself that she seemed to be almost scared to go on the offensive. Farroe just needed to keep at it and she felt that eventually she was going to break through and land a solid shot on Issa. Farroe having had experience fighting in a crowded environment in the past knew that being the aggressive one would garner some favor within the crowd while trying to turtle yourself up would generally get the crowd to turn against you.

Maybe trying to win over the crowd would help Farroe in this fight? If she could get the crowd to start getting on her side, maybe it would rattle Issa into making a mistake that Farroe could exploit. If her next flurry of blows were unsuccessful, Farroe would start to look into testing if she could grab hold of Issa and maybe do some more damage in a grappling situation.

Lashing out once more Farroe saw a small hint of surprise as she connected with Issa. Striking hard she heard a rip as part of the girls wrap came loose showing off a hefty amount of under boob. Sending the crowd into a frenzy. Stumbling back Issa blushed before giving Farroe a death stare and launched into her own attack. Striking quickly with a foot Issa hit Farroe right in the midsection knocking the air out of her lungs. Gasping for breath Farroe didn't see the second kick coming. With a blinding flash Farroe's world tumbled around a moment before she landed on her back. Once more the crowed roared with excitement with Issa turning to the crowd soaking the praise.

Farroe was almost surprised when she landed a few of her punches on Issa. Catching a part of the wrap around Issa's top she could tell that it was damaged and could probably be ripped off. It did not take long for Farroe to get lost in trying to imagine what exactly was hiding behind door number one and she would lower her guard enough that she was blasted by a knee right to her gut that knocked the wind right out of her sails.

Issa would follow up the blow that stunned Farroe by tripping her to the ground. Absorbing the impact, Farroe would survive the fall thought just barely. Farroe's lights were certainly dimmed from that flurry Issa unleashed upon her. Though as she started to recover, she noticed that Issa turned her back to her and started celebrating as if she had already won the match by knocking Farroe out.

(Use Leap Glomp on Issa, follow up with Stranglehold if successful.)

Farroe was on the brink of losing a match that she felt she easily could have and should have won, at least in her own mind. Trying to catch Issa unaware, Farroe would take a leap of faith as it were and try to pin Issa to the ground. Farroe's best chance at winning was to hope her act of desperation was enough to get control of Issa and then try to use her grappling ability to simply choke Issa into submission.

With the roar of the crowed in her ears Farroe quickly arches her back and kicks up from the ground before making a jump at Issa. Time seemed to slow as Farroe quickly impacted the over confident fighter. Issa's eyes registerd a quick moment of fear before their tumbling bodies hit the hard wood of the dock.

Pressed tight against Issa Farroe struggled to maintain her dominate position over the other girl. Both their bodies contorted and flexed. While Farroe's surprise assault had knocked Issa of guard she was far from finished. The sun beat down on them as each tried to gain the upper hand, but the sweat of their efforts only seemed to help Issa slip from Farroe's grasp. Suddenly with a twist and the sound of tearing fabric Issa's wrap gave way exposing her tit flesh to the warm air sending shouts of jubilation into the air from the watchers. Much to Farroe's frustration the lithe woman manged to slip out from her absolute hold on her but they where still grappled and one of them was with out a top. Still struggling Farroe's foot touched a rubber like pole. It was soft but seemed to have a weight to it. If she wanted she could easily get her hands on it.

Farroe was left for dead as it were by Issa. This was a mistake that Farroe was on some level able to capitalize on as she were able to jump onto Issa and take her to the ground. Issa unfortunately was able to get herself out of the attempted hold of Farroe. As they sprawled about the ground, Farroe felt something hit her foot. Not really looking at it she figured it was one of the dildos that the girls had brought to the match and previously discarded.

The docks were quite humid compared to the rest of the town. They were both starting to sweat, and that did not make things easy for Farroe at all to try to keep her dominant position. Farroe knew all too well what would likely happen if she were not to be able to keep Issa pinned. The good part was that Issa had her breasts exposed in the struggle, though the unfortunate part was that wrap coming free also allowed Issa to almost get herself free. Farroe's own top was shifted a little as well, one of her breasts starting to peek out from underneath her leather made top.

Farroe would ignore the thing by her feet and try as she could to attempt to keep Issa grounded. The plan was that she would eventually be able to take advantage of the smaller girl and put her into a submission hold that she would be unable to escape from.

Struggling to to get a hold Farroe felt her grip slip as Issa pulled away. With a good part of her body free the lithe girl quickly twisted and struck Farroe with her palm. Stars exploded in her head as her world went to black.

Standing up Issa limped away to the cheer of the crowed while Farroe behind her lay in a crumpled heap. A moment later one the jeweled hearts floated up from Farroe and exploded showering her with its pink soft glow. Deep in her blackness Farroe felt a pull as warm energy filling her making her body quake with pleasure before her eyes shot open. Catching the last bit of glowing energy fade Farroe saw Issa limp away. The judge was announcing her the victor. Getting up Farroe saw Issa rushed away on the backs of her friends leaving her to gather up her sore body. Nearby a robbed woman tisked. "Farroe I was expecting more. Now you only have three hearts left. I hope fore your sake that they stay unused. Laughing again the woman walked off.

Farroe's eyes would open up as she realized Issa was going to get herself free. Trying as best she could, Farroe would not be able to keep Issa on the ground and Issa was able to get herself free and knocked Farroe out with a palm strike. What Farroe experienced next could not really be explained.

As the judge of the match would finish the 10 count, Issa was declared the winner of the match when Farroe was unable to respond. What seemed to be little more than a few seconds after Issa was declared the winner, Farroe would feel a rush of energy flow through her body. It was as if all her desires were realized all within the span of a few seconds causing her body to shake back to life after experiencing such an interesting feeling. Farroe had lost to Issa, but she did not really feel bad about it for some reason.

Farroe would be able to stand back up as if she were never knocked out at all. The strange sensation that flowed through her body was brought into perspective by some robed figure that started to heckle Farroe about her loss. Farroe then realized that she did in fact only have 3 hearts remaining out of the four she was given. Not quite a coincidence it would seem that the heart shaped items were made the way they were. From what Farroe could figure out, the heart had brought her back from unconsciousness.

With little to do in the right here and now, Farroe would finish picking herself up off the ground and move back to the hotel. Maybe it was just bad luck that Issa happened to land a lucky shot on her? Farroe knew that she would not win every match every time so losing once like this was not going to really bother her all that much. She has been fighting for some time so she has learned to be humble in victory and also gracious in defeat to be able to simply fight another day as it were. Thinking upon her failure in this match a little once she got back to her room, Farroe would start to ask about to see if there were a training area of some kind. She knew that she needed to be better and that would not happen by simply sulking about in her room.

Walking back to the inn/bordello Farroe couldn't help feel the leering gaze of demons and mortals alike. Its almost as if they new what had happened to her. Still shaking the feelings aside she quickly entered the Three Breasted Wench. Once inside she found the place in the middle of a crew shift as the more human looking woman began to leave some escorted by vile looking fiends, while others had far more normal looking companions or left alone. The same three breasted demon was at the counter as before. "Oh your back dear? Same offer as before 5 a night or free if you provide company. You might even get a tip if your good enough." She spoke of it in a matter of fact tone as any would during a business deal.

Deciding what she would left her some time to think before retiring for the evening. She hadn't seen an obvious training area but there had to be one someplace. No doubt she would have to ask around. Also her money situation was getting bad she would have to resolve that soon. If she had one her fight with Issa then she would be sitting pretty good but as it stood now she was short on coin.

Farroe would make it back to the Three Breasted Wench easily enough. It was a bit longer of a walk than she remembered on her way from the inn to the docks, but the fact that she lost probably had more to do with it than anything. The random people looking at her like she was lesser than they were was not helping things either. As she would make her way back to her room, Farroe would look about and notice that there was likely a shift change going on. As she walked near to the desk, the three breasted demon would start talking and essentially offer up the same "deal" as it were.

Farroe was still as uninterested as she was yesterday in taking the offer made by the innkeep for a "free" room. Simply placing 5 denarii on to the table and heading back up to her room instead. Thinking about the money she should have won when she faced Issa, maybe that was why she lost? Farroe felt that she was supposed to win that match but somehow found a way to screw it up and lose. Did she overvalue her own skill or underestimate her opponent perhaps?

Farroe felt off as she started to sit herself on the bed and just think. She felt fantastic, possibly even more so than when she had left the inn earlier in the morning. Was it a side effect of the hearts she was given? No matter what Farroe thought about, she could not bring herself to doubt herself as she was being almost overridden with positive energy. This was the best Farroe had ever felt after a battle, so much so that as she would think about things further she saw no reason to even keep doubting herself.

Feeling great, Farroe felt that she should make some use of her time instead of just wallow about and dwell on the loss she suffered in her previous match. She wanted to ideally find a place where some of the other girls were in the tournament as that was where they likely would have trained themselves to fight. Not knowing when exactly her next match would be, Farroe did not want to stay out too long. She did however want to look about the town and make some use of her time as she felt way too good to just sulk about in her room.

It was almost certainly an unnatural feeling to say the least, but Farroe felt way better after her match than she should have. There was no chance that Farroe was not going to try to take advantage of this and try to turn her past failure into hopefully something that would culminate in her winning the next match she was in.

With a room secure Farroe could head out and inquire as to where a training location would be. Of course if she wasn't too clear on exactly what type of training she meant she would be directed to all sorts of lewd schools or training halls. Eventually though after a few missteps she would find an open pit that looked to be a foundation for a warehouse that never got built. Some of the girls she had seen from the meeting before were present sparing and practicing with weights and the like. A few were even showing off different moves. All in all the group seemed rather friendly and in high competitive spirit. Of course the area also had its share of onlookers some obviously pleasing themselves to the sight of sweating nearly naked woman wrestling.

No, Have not spent anything xp wise yet. Unless I can go to -3xp, I need a few more to get what I think I want to get first. I should have 10 denarii left since the 20 given to Farroe is now gone between the two nights and the entry fee.

Farroe would start to ask about for places to train herself as she felt that simply sitting in her room doing nothing for the rest of the day was a terrible waste of her time. Farroe would realize quite quickly that she should have specified what type of training she was wanting since some people would give her directions to more vulgar schools. As she started to realize the way in which she phrased the question was horribly wrong, she happened to almost wander into what she was looking for. There Farroe would find a foundation of a building that was never built, and almost exactly what she was looking for inside of it.

She recognized a few of the faces in the initial gathering for the tournament. There were weights, mats, and almost everything else Farroe would have wanted to find in a place where she could train herself. As she started to wander about to find where she wanted to start off, Farroe would see that most of the girls were in pretty high spirits which helped Farroe feel like she belonged. As she really started to look about, she would find a few people looking down on the area and seemed to be attempting to pleasure themselves from the sight of so many fit and under dressed women in the same area.

Farroe would mostly ignore them and try to simply get in a decent workout. After some time she would start to watch some of the other girls and the moves that they were practicing. Maybe she could incorporate some of what she saw into her own arsenal. Looking around, Farroe would be able to size up the competition as it were throughout the time she was there. Farroe almost wanted to see if she could get a sparring session in, but could not remember if the rules that were talked about would even allow it. Losing a second heart was also a concern as well.

All in all, Farroe would hopefully be able to work through her loss and make herself better for it in the long run. Also knowing that there was an area she could access to be able to train herself was a great boost to her morale as well. Even though it was the heart that she lost that was likely making her feel better, the environment around her made her feel almost as if she were in a place that she belonged in now. She may not know any of the girls right now, but this felt like a place she wanted to be in.

Many of the girls she saw were trained but no where near her level. Most seemed friendly and few even waved to her. A few of the girls stood together showing each other strikes to make. Others where sparing but it was the practice type not actual combat. Inspecting the weights she found them hastily put together and made of scrap. It seemed this training area was a recent addition. As she was inspecting the free weights another woman about her age approached her. "Hi my name is Crissa. I saw your fight with Issa today. I think if you had opted to strike her instead of grapple you would have carried the victory."

"Name's Farroe, pleased to meet you."

Farroe would pause a little to process what she had to say, "Maybe so, she was pretty hard to actually hit so I think it was out of instinct that I went with what I knew best. I really underestimated her I think, and the truth of it is I can't really go back and change what I did wrong now anyways. Ya know, you might well be right though in all fairness."

Farroe certainly acknowledged the woman, and seemed to somewhat agree with her. Though the cold hard truth of it all was that it was what it was, and there was little she could do about it now to take back her loss to Issa.

"Want to train together for a little while? You certainly seem to know your way around here alot better than I do. I just happened upon this almost by accident, really."

Farroe at this point was trying to fit herself in, and having some friends along the way would not hurt she thought. Of course they could well be paired against each other in the next match that Farroe was in, but there was nothing she could do about that. Much like there was nothing she could do about losing her first match either. Farroe could however try to make herself better either physically or tactically so that she was more likely to win when her next match came about.

Listening to what Farroe had to say Crissa nodded. "Yeah shes a wily one but overconfident. When she had her back to you was the perfect moment. But your right the past is the past."

Moving next to Farroe Crissa flipped her long golden hair. "Sure I could use a training partner most of the girls here seem to have their own groups already."

Looking about Farroe saw that Crissa was pretty much right and only a few practiced alone. "Yeah Im not surprised you had a hard time finding this place. From what I hear it was set up just a day or two before the tournament. Honestly though I think it was just for those perverts watching us could get a free show.

Farroe and Crissa seemed to hit it off as they shared a common interest in combat arts. Crissa would comment that she would have done it differently than Farroe did when Issa started celebrating prematurely.

"Looks like everyone gets what they want then now don't they?" Farroe would remark once Crissa was done speaking.

Farroe would ask if Crissa had a match yet herself, and then inquire about where they should start if they were going to train with each other. Farroe felt like she was a good grappler and not so great with her normal punches and kicks, which was why she instinctually tried to grapple Issa and pin her to the ground. Not knowing how Crissa fought, Farroe felt it best to see what she felt were her strengths and weaknesses so they could work together and make each other better.

"Aww no I'm not in the tournament I'm actually here to observe my mentor thought it would be good for me to see various forms in action. Though I wouldn't mind a chance. Still my mentor has never been wrong so far so Ill observe and maybe next year Ill get to fight."

Speaking with Crissa Farroe soon found out that her training for the moment was more balanced. She could do a little of everything but was not particularly outstanding in anyone field. "Ill tell you what we can practice your punches and kicks. Let me grab a padded shield."

A few moments later Crissa returned with a couple punching cloves and a large padded shield used to practice kicks. Bracing herself Crissa motioned for Farroe to kick the shield as hard as she could a few times so she could gauge her form.

Farroe would realize that Crissa was only a spectator, and seemed to be a trainee still. Even though Crissa mentioned that she had a mentor, it was not outside her relationship to train with others Farroe figured. Crissa would almost certainly put that doubt to rest as she took the initiative to get some pads and look to see how well Farroe would kick.

Crissa would place the pad in various locations and Farroe would need to think for a second before throwing a kick that would hit the pad. Her strikes were placed well enough, but even Farroe knew that she lacked any real power behind her kick. They both felt it as Crissa was barely moved at all from the impacts on the pad. After a few kicks, Farroe would concede that this was probably the weakest part of her overall package.

If Crissa wanted to trade places with Farroe so that she could show her a few things for how to properly throw a kick that had more power behind it, Farroe would be glad to accept the help. In exchange, Farroe likely had to know more about something that Crissa could learn from her as well. Crissa at least had the advantage of seeing Farroe in action before, where Farroe knew little of what Crissa was capable of as of yet.

Crissa braced for a blow and instead was greeted with a whomp that she barely felt threw the pad. "Wait! Was that your strongest strike?" Admitting as much the two would trade places. After confirming Farroe's readiness Crissa would launch a fairly standard kick that seemed to impact far more than her smaller frame would allow. While it didn't move Farroe she could tell the strike had power behind it.

"Did ya feel that?" Waiting only a moment for Farroe to say something about the strike Crissa continued. Raw power is handy but not everything is about muscle mass. A strike can be powerful threw raw strength, accuracy, or even speed. As fighters of the fist we might try to be whole of our body. Or at lest thats what my mentor has told me. Come one lets try a few more kicks and punches we trade places back and fourth to try and see what we can do to help ya along. I may not be able to fight but that doesn't mean I can't help someone else."

For a good two hours Farroe and Crissa traded blows and talked about speed vs power. Proper dodging techniques and favorite exorcises. At the end Crissa had one thing she could say. "Farroe your very good at putting your srikes where you want them. I would have to say its your physical condition holding you back. From what you've told me your're a wanderer. While that is good way to learn tips and tricks but it doesn't do much to help your strength." Moving next to Farroe and sitting Crissa handed a water can over to her. "You seem to have good stamina but a little extra umph might do you some good. You might want to work on the weights here in your free time. Im not sure how long this tournament will last so I would make the most of it while your here and have a stable place to work out.

Farroe would let fly with a few kicks and Crissa knew almost instantly that her form was right but the technique was flawed. The kicks went where they needed to go, but without the power necessary to do any damage. Soon after they would trade places with Crissa only needing to deliver one kick of her own to make her point.

She threw a kick that caught Farroe by surprise with how much force was behind it. For how small she was compared to Farroe the amount of force behind the kick was clearly more than anything Farroe was currently capable of. The pair would continue to go back and forth for what felt like a few hours. The time seemed to fly by as they worked through a few forms and talked just as much inbetween as they traded places delivering blows.

Farroe would open up to Crissa and give her a quick rundown as to what she was and why she was here, at least for rhe tournament part of things. Crissa would offer up a suggestion as they sat down during a break they were taking. Farroe should work on her strength by using the weights that were set up about this makeshift training area.

Having truly lost track of the time at this point, Farroe would have wanted this particular day to just never end. It staryed out so badly with her losing to Issa, but meeting Crissa and finding this training area would turn the day around for certain. If Crissa were to want to part ways for the time being soon, Farroe would look to see if she could exchange information with her or at least tell her where she was presently staying. As Farroe did not know if she had a message or messenger waiting for her back at the inn for when she would fight next, she did not want to say anything more than that she would very much like to meet up with Crissa again to further train and help each other become better fighters.
