Beaten the game. Here's a quick tutorial:
Arrows to move, Shift to pick a stage, Enter to open the stat screen on the map. No other controls needed.
On stat screen topmost option is for buying stat points (you'll need a target token and amount of energy specified in the same line).
Reload is of the essence, max it up first. Not only it will allow you to faster kill your enemies, you'll get more energy and raise combo counter faster (which in turn give you even more energy).
Put some points in the magnet stat (maxing is optional), then level up range.
Strength lowers your combo counter, so level up it strictly by necessity.
Hack will give you larger blue bar of switches, so level it up if you're having trouble with them.
Defence is useless (raises HP).
On the map immediately on your left is a shooting range where you can get target tokens, press up for trial shoot, down for real shoot, left to exit stage. You'll get a real shoot for each attempt at beating an ordinary level. Try a few times, then fire a real shoot. Exit the stage to reset the difficulty, then enter and repeat the sequence.
On ordinary level everything is pretty obvious. Gather tokens, raise combo counter, kill monsters. Round golden things are for raising your combo counter, red globes on golden base are switches, press them down on blue.
Bosses - learn to dash (double arrow) raise reload, range, strength stats and you wouldn't have any troubles.
