巫女さんファイター!涼子ちゃん
Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

Story:Ryouko is a shrine maiden who works at a mountain shrine. Apparently there was some bamboozling, because the spirits of the mountain have become restless. Now she must gather the four God Gems to be able to set things right.

The gameplay involves some classic side-scrolling action while you toss your adorable red panda mascot at enemies and have him return back to you like some kind of twisted boomerang.
[Taken from ]

Genre: Platformer with some Text & CG elements.
OP Vid:
Screenshots: Can be found at the VNDB link I posted above, but here's a few more.(ignoring the convenient censoring. the stupid raccoon thing isn't in the way in-game, trust me. Unfortunately the mosiacs are still there.)

You need to be logged in to see the screenshots, I'm too lazy to find some other filehost that'll accept this stuff, you lurkers out there.

===========

Since there's been a lack of content lately, and looking at how this game hasn't been posted, I wound up digging it out of my external HDD. This is the first time I'm actually contributing a game so it can't be helped if I accidentally mess up here.

As said above, the game is a rather silly platformer where you play as a miko exterminating stuff, by throwing her mascot at crap. Though it's been quite a while since I've played this game, so don't expect me to remember everything about it. Personally, I've never finished it either.

Other than throwing said mascot to kill crap, you can also bounce off it like a springboard(which the forced in-game tutorial on the 1st stage will explain). The game starts to get a bit on the difficult side later on, and not all of the boss fights are as straight forward as just simply spamming the attack button.

As much as I'd like this game to be Game Over Rape, instead, the game rewards you with H-scenes every time a stage is cleared. Along with story segments in Japanese that I clearly can't understand in between them.

Actual ero game? HECK YES! Downloading.

Despite the game's simplicity, this is actually very good. Challenge in eroges makes winning them even more rewarding (Somehow their porn becomes more arousing since one had to work hard to get to it).

I think this factor makes the h-scenes of games like Sengoku Rance (Which by itself alone would be overall mediocre) a lot better.
Hell, i remember playing Ace of Spades 1 & 2 like a madman back in the days. But unlike Ace of Spades or even SR, action games like platformers (and therefore Miko-san Fighter!) do have a great advantage when it comes to game mechanics: They depend on the skill of the player regarding execution.

And talking about eroges which demand skill, i recommend Apocalypse: Deus Ex Machina

Nice STG

Am i the only one finding the drawing style of the heroine resembling of a certain kyoani anime main character?

That aside, unfortunately the h scenes are
1) Few
2) Vanilla ice cream
3) Too generic looking, no options, nothing particularly interesting.
It's a shame, because the game is somewhat entertaining, but not truly challenging (since the game is very generous with the lifebar, 90% of the challenge comes from doing jumps, and there aren't instadeath pitfalls...).

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

The title of the game is sexier than the actual game...I hate that...:(

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

well.. there are H-games... and there are games with H-content. unfortunately, I don't think anyone's quite got the balance between the two perfectly :p

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

When it was described as a shrine maiden fighting with a raccoon i thought it might be an h-spinoff of Pocky and Rocky.

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

for some reason when i try to start the game it will not let me

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

Those are the exact same links. Mumbo just plain took them and put them in his H-platformer thread.

Something tells me that you don't have winrar, since you didn't mention extracting them.

Re: Miko-san Fighter! Ryouko-chan

(Might be necro(?)ing thread but...)
Every time I try to extract the game it will say that I need part 2, which I already have but when I try to continue the extraction it just keeps on saying that part 2 is missing, does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: Renamed my files but now i'm getting a error about a sec5 file.

Rename your files. If you can't make out what it says, then your computer probably can't either.
