Yes I think you can go out to the town and find whores and bring them to distract the guards. Then walk in and do what anyone in a H game would naturally do.

Yeah I've done that but everytime she just walks out without me getting to do anything, is there any way to actually.. you know?

Nope

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Yea, but it took like 20+ mins to kill him.

I remember being frustrated as hell, ragequitting and going back to level up in order to kill him more quickly. This was back when I had no idea about his total amount of hit points, mind. I was afraid of running out of herbs and messing up a grand fury rotation or something.

My first theory was that the bath scene was a way for players who didn't take advantage of her in the very beginning to still get the titjob scene with her. Turns out that no, it isn't. It's just that pic, if the gallery is anything to go by.

I can vouch for that. Nothing but a pic and at most her promising to pray for your obsession for her to leave you.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Well that's sad Guess we cant do anything with her till the full game.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Well, not much of an update, but , Gabe opened for feedback, so if any of you feel like fomulating something, this is as good a time as any. Obviously there's no guarantees on what will be listened to, but hey, it's better than nothing.

I've at least mentioned the Golem being too powerful.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Stuck on one thing: where do I find the second piece of hunting equipment to catch the 5th squirrel?

You need to capture enough animals overall to get the upgrade to unlock in the gold beetle item menu.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Thanks rawr.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Is there any way to get the Lockpick if you missed it at the beginning? I'm locked out of that quest and I'm too far in to want to restart

Also, how/where do you get the Earth rings? I can't find anywhere to craft them

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

No, if the Black Dame has left the basement or the generic NPC has left the bench, neither will come back until you start a New Game+ with the Orb.

Earth Rings are the reward for Treasure Map 03, which is itself the reward for a sidequest you start in Port Ronod and finish in Brightstone.

Talk to the guy near the entrance of Port Ronod and agree to deliver his letter (Catch-a-Lie quest). Give the letter to the girl in Brightstone's Inn and she'll give you the map. Finally, go dig the spot in Windy Canyon to get the rings.

Actually, from looking in the game files you can get it later. At some point the girl below the church in Colossia will give you a guest to steal something, and if you don't have the lockpick you can get one during this quest. I'm not sure of how it works since I didn't do it(this might not even work), but the mysterious guy at the peer at night gives you the pick if you don't have it during this quest.

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

Oh, is that what that guy was added for? I thought he was just a placeholder for a quest to be added later.

Well, since you're looking at game files and all, any idea what the mysterious man in the underground bar is for? He's only there when you return to town to kidnap Farah, then once you go to the port he's no longer there anymore.

His entire purpose is foreshadowing.

He's just foreshadowing, like the guy above me said. If you played Opala 1 or 2 you would know who he is and what he was foreshadowing.

Played 2, but not 1, and still have no idea who he is. :D

Re: Legend of Queen Opala: Origin

I don't recall the name, but he
works for Osira. He's present in both previous games (I think. I'm not sure in the first).
