The way I got gold was basically grinding items I needed for the top tier armor. For instance, I basically upgraded my Estate and had 50,000 in reserve by farming titanium, marbles and such for a fully geared squad before Episode 2. During episode 2, I've gotten most of my money from killing the legendary monsters (and the mobs you have to kill to unlock them) and then farming for Meteorite and Ceramic for various sets.Yo,guys.Now i know this has probably been asked before somewhere in this thread, but where is the gnoll's shop?(I know it is somewhere in the village of Nazadina, but all i have ever found there was a bunch of dead soldiers, empty houses and one locked one which i can not unlock with lockpick).
Also,do you guys have any tips on grinding gold?(outside of quests as i did almost all of them, and yes that includes the dutchess velveta's quest)
So,those training cards, wasn't there an ability to see monsters and characters that can give you those that you got from one of those quiz sages?
Anyway i have been trying to get that ability and i am fairly certain that i did almost all of those quizes,so which quiz sage gives that as a reward?(as in which city is that sage?)
Can someone post the save (preferably western edition) from the early or middle episode II, before the Gabrielle's quest ?
I too late found this quest (already reached Thebes), so when i began to fulfill this quest, Gabrielle not appeared on the market in Grand Aideen![]()
she'll pop upp there after ya "beat the game" bro
Have to say one of the biggest issue's I've had with this game is the fact that armor and hp seem to scale much quicker than damage. Toward the end everything (including the "final" boss) did no damage at all but still took forever to kill with the weapons available to me (I might be under-level, but I haven't skipped anything >_>)
But anyway i think that it is good not to have more powerfull weapons than those already available as it would ruin this balance, and characters would become too powerfull.
The game is not balanced as is so there is not really much to ruin. As it is now fights are simply a battle of attrition as nothing in the game can outdamage you if you have a healer and have up to date armor, particularly if you leveled up a bit looking for the hidden monsters, and as you said venom blade it pretty ridiculous. It should just do a guaranteed x damage for y turns rather than a chance to do a percentage of a monsters health for infinite turns. The combat is boring and slow, which is far worse than easy and fast.
