I managed to change the font, as you can see the readability of this one is better:
It's better at handling with lower case letters:
Only problem is with upper case in description, as you can see:

finally got around to trying this.
the game CG is great, the game art is terrible and painful to look at.
the menu's aren't set out like RPGmaker so i'd need a translation of that just to see what i'm doing, but...
it's pointless, the game is unplayable.
i can't even get out of the first town before it crashes on me with a "stack level too deep" error.
guess I need to wait for another bug fix.
finally got around to trying this.

No, the stack level too deep error has been explained. Simply don't ever hit the F12 key, ever. There's a load option in the menu, if you want to go back to a save file use that instead.

This has been sorta already explained in a prior post (memory is hazy, it's the one walkthrough after getting the boat), but I'll explain it here anyway:
--Head to the bazaar and talk to one of the NPCs at the auction, he'll inform you that there was an elf there and has been bought out by the rich man who lives in the nice mansion on an island (bottom right of the map, if you're near the ghost ship you can travel north to reach it).
--Talk to said rich man during the day (he's busy "playing" with the elf at night), he'll be miffed that you want the elf back, but will trade you her for two items: Earth's Umbilical and Puok Sperm.
--The first can be found in a dungeon that is surrounded by a ring of land (which is west of Miore) and can only be accessed after placing the sea-gem thing back in the shrine (thus getting rid of the whirlpools).
--Second is in the dungeon related to the Yamato side-quests. I don't feel like getting into specifics, but just talk to all the NPCs in Yamato first. Then go north from Yamato until you hit a cave-dungeon. Go to the third floor. Hang around until a Puok attacks you, defend for 10 turns until it finally rapes you. If it fails to do so, kill it and try again. Increase chances of mob encounters by using Sing to make this easier. Once you get inseminated, go ahead and kill the boss for good measure. Go back to Yamato and talk to the lady NPC near the bookshelf in the village office, she'll extract the extract for you. If you talk to the village leader at this point, you'll get attacked for killing her son, or something. Kill her too.
--Take both items back to the rich man (during the day of course) and you'll get the elf back. Take her back to the village and there you go!

OK, I tried everything from the walk through.
But I can't seem to get the "Open spell".
I went to the bandit and took that item to the castle with the old man.
(The castle with the bright light)
But I didn't get the jewel or the spell.
I still have the black jewel, but I'm not sure where to use it on.
Is there anyone who can help please?

You might have to use the item to learn the open spell. I don't remember if I got it before or after.
Then you go to the elf village and use open on the locked door underground and get the proof of bravery or something among those lines.
Then you can enter the dungeon blocked by the old man.

Proof of Bravery is a hero equip and is not necessary to complete the game, especially considering that I was able to complete the game without ever obtaining it nor opening said door.
In any case, the gem retrieved after trading the auctioned elf for the two items I mentioned earlier is needed to access the tower of light, or whatever it's called. I believe you get it alongside the elf once you rescue her. Talk to the Elf leader regarding it's lackluster shine, hinting that you go to the tower of light. Etc etc, dungeon your way to the top to restore the gem's former gleam. That way you won't get rinsed over and have your soul yoinked from you at Rigid's castle.

Yea, I wouldn't get the Open spell now, but oh well.
I'm trying to get the gallery mode so I can get the other endings.
Do you know where i can get the top line, I sem to have miss some :S
I know it should be in the first village but I am not sure who I need to talk to.
