I'm working on the project now. Surprised that there is considerable progress there already (except for the story script).

Even machine translation is helpful due to the sheer amount of text.

I see you can use google to guess the meaning from the patch notes just fine.

All that needed to be done is to put them in proper English.

Other more fluent translators and I will go over/proof-read these machine translations to make sure it is accurate to the original meaning so don't worry.

Use Cheat Engine to slow down the game, i.e 0.1 speed

I dont see why not, ill just mark the confidence or comment "GT" for someone to go over..

No one knows how to get the elusive CG 27 yet.

I asked about it on the dev blog once and got a reply that it's an event related to "調合”, which I can only assume means "(potion) crafting". Haven't figure how to unlock it either.

Yeah. Just fixed those. Keep it up, I have more motivation to proofread anyways :p

Those lines are from the nurse with a regional dialect so I figure it would screw up machine translation. Other lines will be a lot more straightforward.

I tried to do some touchups at the top and bit at the bottom of what i google translated, but my cold is getting the better of me. Ill leave it there for now.

FUCK NO. Anything but unity (or ren'py). All the fun those of us who don't understand Japanese have had making the game playable with cheat engine will be taken away. Unity, much like ren'py moves values every time they change (I think that's what it does) so there's no way to memory edit. Dunno if it shits on speed-hack as well, but probably.

In other words Unity=grindathonmax and honestly the porn's just not good enough to justify spending 30+ hours grinding.

It's Nono's (i think that the corgi's name) skill (the 2 sp)
You can eventually give it to an NPC and learn it yourself as well if you acquire the skill item. If a full translation actually comes through, guess I'll try buying it for once using a pre-paid card since I can only do so anonymously, I don't control my income after all... this game is troublesomely well-made.

You have to craft a special item to unlock that cg. I gave myself the recipe and the items for it and it triggered. Didn't bother to make sure the recipe and ingredients are obtainable though. I have other stuff to do for the translation and only so much time.

You can eventually give it to an NPC and learn it yourself as well if you acquire the skill item.

Yeah that does happen with metal apple dog and even to my surprise the sniper apple dog (or is it called the rock apple dog...) and the book that teaches it is #3

Pretty sure unity doesn't do that. In fact, I commonly hear the opposite: that it's ridiculously easy to hack and even decompile it's games. Now, I've heard of it storing values and addresses differently (so say the value is 4 bytes but the address isn't) but it's nothing cheat engine can't handle. For example, do unknown initial value, and then keep decreasing the value and searching for a decreased value (maybe with some unchanged value searches in there). Even if the address changes each time (like ren'py) the value won't (or, at least it won't magically increase). You'll eventually find it. I've done it myself in unity. It's the same way you find values in games that store them with a formula, like how how RPG Maker used to store values as n*2+1. And by default, unity values don't even do that. All values are stored unencrypted. If there's any kind of hack protection it's put there by the developer. It's not built in like RPG Maker.

I can also tell you for a fact that speed hacking isn't impaired in Unity. Tested it myself, works just fine. CE speed hacking works by injecting a dll into the program it's hooked to, and then returns slowed down or sped up ticks to the the system calls for timing the program makes (I think. It's been a while.) so the only way to really combat that is have the program detect the dll being injected (which most don't) or to have it cross check the time every few seconds with a server (in the case of something like an MMO).

I know huh? I could only beat the first level. Try recording it with your phone and then setting speed in cheat engine to 0. It freezes the game so the timer stops, but you can still press the tiles. Press them in the right order and then set speed back to 0.1+ and it'll count a win. You have to be quick with filming and freezing (I suck at it, as does my phone.) but, theoretically, you could beat the whole thing with it.

Well if the game's coded poorly speedhack will just fuck it. Though that's not neccessarily disabling speedhack or intentional...

As for the other stuff, you're probably right (thus questioning myself in my original post), maybe it's the one that CE just sits and chugs on when I'm trying to find a value?. All I know is I've never been able to get a value changed to what I wanted, and if it takes more than half an hour it might as well not work.
