English's not my first language and I'm absolutely illiterate at computing, so please go easy on me...
I couldn't for the life of me follow any tutorials about using Text Hookers and MTL to translate RPGs, until someone told me to give Textractor a try. The program seems easy and intuitive enough that even someone like me could do it, but I've just run into a problem I couldn't search for a solution:
As you can see, the original text is there and the program copied it down correctly. But then it made another copy of the sentence right next to the correct one, with all the letters duplicated.
I have all the "Remove duplicate" extensions on, off, and every time this only happened to floating text box (like, sometimes during scenes character speaks in dialogue boxes that appear at the bottom of the screen, and it was fine).
This causes translator like DeepL to attempt to translate the whole line into something wrong.
Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!
