Nadia arrives a short time later, adjusting her robe. She doesn't see Draven instantly and jumps slightly as she turns around. "Gah! Well, thanks. That sure woke me up", she murmurs. "Well then, what is it you wanted to talk to me about?"

Draven frowns then says, "sorry, I didn't mean to startle you."

He pauses a moment then adds, "well we did encounter the base of operations for those pirates. Apparently they have a fairly strong shield, and I suspect the facility we saw is in fact a half buried ship. We were warned off by their leader I am assuming who informed me to tell whoever sent me that the area has been claimed by Cruton. That doesn't ring a bell for me, but he sure seemed to think that it would with whoever 'sent' me. I don't think with what we currently have here we are in any position to do much of anything, unless you want to fire from orbit with the station weapons on their location, which I'll admit is likely to be impossible at our range out."

Nadia nods a few times while listening. "Cruton, Cruton. . . I think I've met a pilot of that name on Garik a few years back. He was brought in for attempted desertion. Damn lucky it was after the war or he would've been executed", Nadia says with a smile in her voice. "Young, brash and ambitious. Wouldn't surprise me if he managed to steal a larger ship and crashed it here."

Draven nods slightly, thinking this over. "Perhaps then he is aware of another Garik presence here in the system then from our earlier fight? Either way, we're not getting anything off that planet as long as they are there. Kars and I returned here, and I'm not entirely certain what Corax was doing. He cloaked and I was unable to track him, so I have no idea what he is up to."

Nadia sighs and starts to pace around. "Well, it seems we can't just blast them off the planet. Especially since they are sure to retaliate. We may very well have a big battle on our hands then. . . Perhaps we should take a different approach", she muses.

"With what we have at our disposal right now, we would be at a severe tactical disadvantage in any kind of firefight with them. If we were going to attack, it would only be feasible with full scale warships from either the Juris Alliance or from my own people, and a full scale assault like that would take some time to set up. What are you thinking of, negotiating with them?"

"Possibly. They may not know that we are from the Alliance. Maybe we can bring Cruton back into the herd. He certainly seems to have a loyal crew. In exchange. . . I don't know. Got to find out more about their situation first. I'm sure there's something they need." Nadia keeps on pacing around as she speaks, already making plans.

"The only thing I can think of they would want or need would be help in getting that ship out of there and off the planet. I can't see them wanting to give up the territory though, and they have everything they need for food and water there I would guess. This is tricky Nadia, extremely tricky. However, I wouldn't want to be the one to say you can't pull it off."

It's clear that while he thinks it is a long shot, he isn't betting that she can't find a way to pull it off here, and is backing her.

"Well, if they want to get off the planet we can do that to, and the problem solves itself. Maybe offer them resources and an escort out of the sector. The former Ashotur territory has a lot of space."

"Agreed, it is worth a try. So then, now how do we go about this? They'll probably shoot us on sight."

A message comes across the station's general intercom. It's Umbral's voice. "Draven, are you around anywhere? Something came up with Zachery's situation, and it was suggested to ask if you could help."

Nadia laughs out. "Oh dear, you're forgetting who you're talking to. Do you really think a ship like mine does NOT have a cloak- Wait, what situation?" Nadia pulls together her eyebrows, trying to remember.

Draven blinks, then says to Nadia, "Zachery was damaged on the surface by an EMP pulse if I remember properly. It would seem their plan to patch him up has run into a hitch. As for your ship, if you can cloak, even better."


"This is Draven, I am currently speaking with Nadia, but what is it? If I can help I'll do what I can."

"We managed to access his internal memory core. However, the data is encrypted. No security other than that as far as I could see. The thought is that we might find out about maintenance plans or the like if we can decode."

He turns to Nadia and then adds, "well I've gone over everything with you that I have for you at this point I'm afraid. Requesting permission to head to medical and see what can be done for Zachery?"

"Yes, yes. Permission given. Off with ye!" Nadia makes shooing motions, indicating that Draven is released.

Draven bows his head, then takes his leave, speaking over the radio. "I'll meet you in medical then Umbral. We'll see what we can manage."

Draven stalked his way to the command center, those who saw him wisely moving out of the mist man's way. Eventually he reached the right area, just outside of Nadia's office, and paused only long enough to chime the door alert. He had calmed down some, but he was still angry, it showing in his glowing eyes of fire, which were a bit brighter than normal.

Kerry walked into command and looked around. She was impressed, and showed this with only a slight nod. She had made it here, now she wasn't sure who to talk to. She noticed the angry looking man, but couldn't quite tell what he was. She decided to move closer, to see if she could find some directions around this place.
