Moira was starting to get a bit afraid when she failed to exit the game, and quite a lot more afraid when a pop up arrived.

"Max? What's going on? Why are we getting such an obnoxious message?" Moira was angry at the insulting pop up, and did not like the idea of being toyed with. Suddenly she was aware of how vulnerable her body might be in the outside world.

"Max?" she asked again, not quite sure if her question had gotten through.

Max is breaking up badly now. "W---ot su-e wha--s go--ng on! We th--k -t ma- be an att--k virus o- --me kind!"

At this, the sound breaks up and the box disappears.

Caitlyn began to get worried when she realized that she couldn't quit, even more so than she had been when she heard the worry in Max's voice. Guys, what's going on? she asked, biting her lip. She was beginning to think that this whole thing had been a very bad idea.

Moira stood up and looked upwards, apprehension starting to weigh heavily on her.

"Virus? What does that have to do with us? Just unplug the damn thing!" she looked around at her friends. This certainly didn't sound like it was normal, and suddenly she felt very guilty for having brought them all here.

"They can't even talk to us anymore? What are we supposed to do if we can't leave or talk to anybody?! How would a virus even get on a system like this?!" Lynne yelled at the fading static noise as the box vanished. She didn't even know if the people on the other side could still hear them.

Sanae stares, jaw dropping almost comically. Just one awkward event after another... after another,"Wha? Virus?!" she stammers, her tail fluffing out as she tries to paw at the static-filled video-window thing in front of her, "Hey! Wait! What does that mean for us!.. Are we... stuck here?.." she trails off, her ears drooped as she looks back over the bare curve of her shoulder towards her friends...

The girls stand around in worry for a moment or two as the screen clears out.

After a couple of minutes the shack gets dark, as a new screen pops up, before an image appears. It looks as if it's the room their eggs are in. But it's certainly not right.

The man they see on the screen is not kindly Max. In fact, it looks very much like a man wearing a ski mask, a hoodie covering the rest of his head.

"Hello girls." The man speaks in chilly tones. "You're going to be our entertainment for tonight." he laughs, and the girls can see others like him tying up the female techs in the background.

Moira blood chilled at the sight of the man in the ski mask, but she didn't have anything to say. The absurdity and surreal nature of the situation she was now in, with some dickhead in a ski mask leering down at her in a virtual world, was simply stupefying. Moira crossed her arm over her breasts and put another hand over her crotch, not wanting this obvious creep to look at her or her friends anymore.

She waited for the man to get on with whatever point he was going to make.

Sanae's ears flick up in alarm, turned towards the window with the strange masked man, her arms crossed over her small breasts, "What's going on!"

The whole thing was too much for Caitlyn, and she squatted down on the ground, covering her ears and trembling in fear. I wish I had never come to this stupid thing. Why did Moira have to drag me here anyway? She neglected to remember that, of course, Moira hadn't dragged her, even if she hadn't been completely straight-forward about what kind of game it was going to be.

Lynne froze for a moment in fear as she saw the men tying up the lab techs in the room that their EGGs were in. That's the room that we're in.. Hesitantly, she took a few steps backwards, moving behind Moira to try and hide herself from the man's leer. A sudden overwhelming urge to run and try to get away from the shed overtook her. After a few seconds of furtively glancing at the door and seriously considering making a break for it, she stopped herself. Even if she did get out of the shed, she couldn't get away from them as long as she was in the game's world. Not knowing what else she could do, she simply glared at the man from around Moira's shoulder.

The man with the mask continues to look at them, probably grinning beneath that mask as they try to cover themselves.

"Tonight you're going to be our entertainment" He proceeds. "We've spent a long time working on the dungeon you'll be going through tonight, and we know we're going to enjoy watching you go through even inch of it. But for now...I think this will do." He nods to someone off screen, the shack changes, becoming a simple wooden room, looking out the windows the girls see only black, as if the cabin was floating in a void.

Appearing in front of them, almost as if it were a glitch, seems to be a massive coil of rope, forming itself into a sligtly vague humanoid shape, long whip like arms as it full forms, the upper half looking like some sort of body while the bottom half continued as a coil of ropes, more rope coils appearing all over the room like a minefield.

Moira gritted her teeth and grabbed her axe.

"Screw you!" she shouted and then hacked against the rope demon, intent on doing as much damage as she could to the new enemy before it could target anyone else.

Sanae's eyes widen, as she takes a step back, looking around the suddenly changed room... and then at the rope creature suddenly manifesting before them.

She crouches slightly, holding her sword as she watches it for a moment, ears splayed... then blinks, "Moira!" she calls out to her friend, quickly rushing forward alongside her, and then twisting, aiming to push Moira as far out of the way as she can... a writhing mass of rope doesn't have any bones, or solid structure that an axe can smash through after all... a sword on the other hand...

She slides a foot out to the side, changing her grip on the blade as she pulls it up and to the side, trying to draw the sharp edge through the rope and slice through it.

The huge coil of rope snuck into Caitlyn's peripheral vision, and she slowly stood up and drew her sword. Alright Caitlyn, pull yourself together. This situation is terrible and getting worse, but you just have to deal with it one monster at a time. You can do this. She followed behind Sanae, sword in hand, hoping either to attack after her or to keep the ropes from successfully countering her.

Lynne stumbled backwards a couple of steps in surprise as the giant piles of rope appeared in front of them and started to move all on their own. Seeing her friends go after the body of the thing, she took a different approach and aimed at the giant coil of rope beneath it. Trying to hit it before it had a chance to move, she quickly fired off a bolt of cold magic, hoping to snap freeze the ropes under it solid before they could uncoil as well.

Moira lands a solid attack on the rope demon, cutting a few pieces and leaving some frayed ends, while Sanae and Caitlyn both miss. Lynne finds her magic ray having little effect as the rope seemed to form itself to evade the attack.

The rope demon lashed out with it's whip like arms, the strikes hitting hard on Caitlyn and Lynne. Both found part of their clothes ripped where it hit, the attacks stinging as the attacks sent them both staggering slightly until they stepped into a coil of ropes, the ropes leaping up and entangling them.

After being shoved aside and nearly missing her target, Moira sees where the ropes had sneaked around and lashed at Lynne. Figuring Sanae would be closer to Caitlyn and able to free her, Moira rushed to hack at the ropes that were threatening Lynne, hoping that by dividing them from the main body, they would lose their power.

Caitlyn stumbled backwards as the rope demon whipped her, the impact shredding parts of her already beaten up clothing. Unfortunately, she didn't pay close enough attention to what was behind her, and stumbled into a coil of ropes that promptly began to entangle her. Noooo, get them off me! she screamed as she thrashed about, trying to cut the ropes with her sword. Of course, that was proving more difficult than she would hope...
