Astras HP: 25/42! [A bit beat up]

Ignoring her uneasyness with the undead Astra charged forward and let loose her first strike! The monstrosity spurring little to no pity or empathy from the girl, allowing her to fight at her fullest!

With a swift blow the blade struck true! Slashing at the zombie across his chest! Astra took a light moment as this was her first ever real attack, though suddenly the groans echoed out from all around as the creatures would not just stand!

Seemingly ignoring the girls blow entirely, the first zombie caught Astra by surprise as it whipped its hand striking the girl directly! The impact making Astra wince subtly, though not enough for her to lose focus from the others attacking her!

Moving her blade swiftly to intercept the onslaught Astra managed to entirely block the other three, but not the one behind her who'd get a cheap hit on her, making the girl stumble forward lightly!

Ignoring that what she was fighting was undead, Astra swings for the first time with the true intent of defeating an enemy! She would not hold back on a undead!

Her first strike lands and slashes the zombie across the chest! Feeling slightly satisfied that her first real blow landed, she had to prepare herself to defend against the other zombies as well!

The zomv8e just took the hit, and dealt once every out as well! He smaked Astra right across the face with a backhanded blow! Astra stumbled a little, but manged to regain her balance just in time to defend against 3 other strikes from the zombies! Although she was good at defending, she was entirely able to defend from all angles, letting the one behind her get another hit in! Stumbling forward, Astra tryst to attack again!

This time she needed to end the battle quickly, so she would need to hit all of the zombies! She brought the blade to one side of her then spun! Swinging while spining to unleash a massive attack on all of the zombies!

Just like Evan had taught her when fighting multiple foes, Astra quickly shifted her stance and instead of using overheads the girl let loose a round-about slash cleaving all the zombies in a single strike!

With the girls superior strength and technique each one seemed to recoil as the blow struck, forcing them to stumble away briefly---- *SLAM!* suddenly a massive bounder seemed to utterly whisk too of the zombies away! "ROOGE!" the necromancer cried out angrily looking away towards the distant battle that only echoes could hint at... still Astra had to focus on her own fight for now!

Both with the gained distance and the suddenly boulders flyby, Astra had only 3 enemies to focus on... each one telegraphing their clumsy attack all too clearly! With three echoes of steel, Astra had managed to parry or block each of the zombies! Both the feat and seeing her enemies injured quickly spurring a boost of confidence in the girl! She could indeed do this!

With skills that had been hammered into her by Evan, Astra hits all of the Zombies, leaving big gashes on all of them! They were all forced back a few steps by this hit, and good thing they were. For as two of the zombies stumbled back, they entered the path of a fly away boulder, squashing them! How can someone with strength like that actually exist! Marveling at the boulders feat for a second, Astra has to quickly defend again!

Lucky she focused right away and there were less zombies! She parried every strike by the zombies this time! Feeling less pressure on herself, Astra smiles as she instantly sends the weakest zombie's head flying! Although her smile may make her look cruel, to her it was a simple smile of accomplishment!

With only the two zombies remaining, Astra trys to knock one down! Swinging with the flat of her blade, Astra swings like a champion, aiming for the chin to send a zombie flying!

Moving swifly Astra seemingly in a brief moment struck the stumbling zombie, sending the monstrosities head flying! A sly smile appearing on the girls face as she'd absolutely take over the battles tempo! With her confidence burning, the girl wasted little time to turn her blade at the nearby zombie and slam it away! Making the creature lightly fly and crash to the ground!

In a display of sheer talent and skill, Astra continue her plow through the enemy as just as she knocked the zombie aside the girl spun and angled her blade to block the third zombies attack! Meanwhile the dark bride only looked on in seeming surprise her quite cute and kind eyes widened subtly. Oddly enough throughout the fight, she had never once interfered with the battle.

Astra was moving like a Whirlwind! The more she got into the fight the more her movements were being refined and faster! In a short amount of time Astra executes one zombie, sends another flying, and blocks the last! If Astra or Evan were not in any danger right now, she might actually be having some fun in the fight!

That said, they were in some major danger it seemed! To busy with her own fight Astra has no idea what condition Evan is in! Resolved to end the fight, Astra swings for the standing Zombie's neck! Trying to pull off another decapitation! Lucky there enemies were dead, else the sword would never allow these actions!

Glancing at the bride, Astra was on guard as she hasn't acted yet!

Astra struck the Zombies neck as it sliced through it effortlessly, yet not deeply enough for a decapitation! The zombies head recoiling backwards, but still held stuck to the neck! The gruesome view made even Astra flinch in light disgust, before suddenly the zombie seemed to be enveloped by a black subtly glowy a purple ooze and moments later, the whole body seemed to shrink to a small orb and disappear entirely?!

A clap echoed out from nearby as the bride seemed to smile and clap at Astra "Bravo~!" it didn't even seem sarcastic or mocking adoration, but one that seemed genuine "Unfortunately my Darlings are tired now." she'd look behind Astra some ways "And seems our duty is done. Hope to see you again!"

Leaving the fighter confused, if Astra did nothing she'd see a black door materialise right in the air as the bride opened it and stepped inside the pitch black void beyond it. The moment the door would slam shut, it would disappear leaving Astra all alone.

A sick fleshy sounds rang out as Astra’s swells sunk in the zombies neck! Guh, that is such a disgusting sound. Notes Astra. Shivering Astra attempts to pull out her sword, but before she could the zombie turned into a black orb and returned to the bride!

Seeing the Bride was congratulating her and saying their duty was done, Astra goes rigid! Did they get Evan! Only briefly seeing the door opening behind the bride, Astra turns and bolts! She needed to get to where the other battle was happening and see Evan! Evan! she would yell out when running.

Rushing to where the battle had to haven taken place it seemed like an absolute disaster had taken place here. Trees appeared toppled over, rocks beared numerous slash marks as well as blood splatters... yet there was noone here. No the attackers, not Evan!

Astra quickly ran around to attempt to find any potential hints of her mentors or the attackers fates... Yet there was nothing more left than a sighting of the battle. Seemed Astra was all alone now...

Worse yet, the girl found herself all alone, slightly bruised and in the middle of the forest... Evan had both their shared gold and the map to boot!

Feeling a bud of panic start to bloom, Astra runs over to the other battle. The entire scene seemed like an tribe of giants turned the are into their playground! Trees, rocks, and even just the ground were all up rooted and out of place every where!

Astra found no sign of Evan any where, there was no sign that the battle had moved somewhere else, just nothing. Panic and despair overwhelmed Astra, she felt like she spent an hour trying to find Evan before it began to sink in. Evan was gone, and see was alone, lost and without any money.

Astra’s only hope was to find Evan's freind from a. Nearby city. I'll find you Evan! I may not be able to now, but I WILL! With tears in her eyes, Astra calls out into the empty surroundings! Once she had started to calm down, Astra sets off at a slow pace for the road that they were traveling on earlier. She would travel along that road trying to find the town or someone to help her along.

Astra had spend almost what seemed an hour just scouring every nook and cranny in the area, even going as far as lifting relatively small rocks to look under them in sheer desperation! Yet as she'd place the final rock down, the realization hit her full on... her mentor was gone and the girl would have to continue alone!

Still with a final proclamation the girl would pledge moreso to herself than anyone around to find her mentor, no matter what! With her announcement ringing out throughout the forest, Astra could finally pause and catch her breath.

First things first, the girl looked to the letter and stashed away with firm nod. Whoever Evan wanted her to meet had to learn of what happened here. Thankfully the knight had left information on where to deliver it 'The Blooming Oak Inn'.

Dusting herself off, Astra would indeed look to find the path back to the road as she'd attempt to retrace the steps they took... If she was not mistaken, the route passed by.... right through... Judging by the sun position... 'Ah crap!' Astra would quickly realise in the stress of battle and what had happened here, there was no way she'd be able to retrace their way back!

The girl needed a different plan! Or perhaps just try her luck and pick a direction. Standing in the forest, she'd be surrounded by a fair amount of trees, most more or less the same like the rest. Though one path did potentiall stand out - the thrown log Rooge had first thrown had left a very clear path through the woods.

Before Astra left for the path they had previously traveled, she decided she should know her destination. Looking at the letter Evan had givin her, it was to be taken to a "The Blooming Oak Inn". Evan's freind needed to know about what has happened here. Who ever they are, they have to help me find Evan! Giving herself a goal in this rough time helped keep her mind from wandering.

When she tried to retrace their path through the forest, she kept on getting lost and could only return to the scene of the battle to try again. After repeated failure Astra had to give up on that plan. There was one path she had found, or she could just wander the forest. The wandering didn't sound like an actual plan to Astra as that was just hoping for some lucky chance. Left with only the path she had found, she started to walk down it, Let what ever dangers are down this path come, I'll take em all down! I can't be stopped now! Determination radiating from her, Astra marches down the path, hand on sword.

Choosing to head along the downed path, soon enough Astra came up the place where the ripped out log once seemed to rest. Amazingly it seemed to have previously been half-burried in the ground and just simply ripped out through brute strength, unearthing a fair bit of the area!

Even if the half-giants monstrous strength was impossing, his sheer weight seemed to be a sheer blessing to Astra! There all too clearly in along the woods, the girl could see the giant mans footsteps. Be it imprinted on the ground or on broken apart wood or flora!

Astras heart quickly soared as she could use this to backtrack from where the attackers came from! Her steps hastened as the clear trail extended before her, Astra rushed forward and soon enough came upon a dusty road!

This time the girl just had to recall where the sun shined on their back or their front with Evan, before comparing to the dimming lights source now and with a beaming smile the girl was free to continue down the unkown road that may lead her to White Lilly!

It was strange at first, traveling alone... Though inside Astras some sadness still rung true, with her pledge made the girl would focus on becoming both strong enough and rich enough to find out her mentors ultimate fate in that duel... and hopefully in the process honor all that she was taught as a knight!

Feeling somewhat proud of her title, Astra did note that some ways ahead the road appeared to be blocked... by a very poor looking fence, apparently made from scrap wood or broken spears?

Traveling down the path, Astra soon came to the previous place of the log that hit Evan! She could even see the foot prints of the giant man here also! She could certainly could follow them to where every they came from, hopefully a road!

As she followed the the footprints, some of her clothing got stuck on some branches sticking out, and got ripped a little. Her attention now drawn to her clothing, she just now noticed the stet they were in. Her stockings had a rip or two, and the back of her short sleeves shirt and her skirt managed to get ripped a little also. She had no idea how her clothing had managed to get like this at all. Thankfully her leather breast plate protected the front of her shirt, while her leg guards protected her lower legs.

Finally done inspecting herself she arrives on a dusty road! I made it, I'm going to be able to find where to go soon! Excited Astra picks up her pace, as it was already getting close to dusk, she needed to hurry!

She soon arrived to this weird fence on the road, it seemed like a man made blockade. What is this here for? I have never seen something like this on the main roads. Thinking to herself, Astra starts to walk toward it, on the lookout for anything moving. If she managed to get to the fence, she would try to move past it. She had to keep moving!

Nearing the construction Astra kept her eyes peeled for any movement, but did not note anything for now. Still the 'fence' appeared all too crude, as it was indeed tied by a wine and used exactly the material the girl suspected - broken shoddy spears, large sticks and twigs.

Still, the win holding it in place did appear quite tense and in height the 'blockade' reached up to her neck. Even looking beyond it did not reveal any figures down the road... surely it could be easily cut, yet that would cause the whole contraption to collapse. The alternative appeared to jump it!.. yet it was a fair jump to manage.

Astra looked around for any third or even fourth solution to the quite strange and out of nowhere dilema. The girl still wasn't sure why this was even here!

This fence that Astra has found was made out of these broken spears, either broken to make the fence, or someone finally found a good use for their broken spear stash. It was only held together by this tense vine, which by cutting it would brake down the entire fence. What if this fence was made to protect from something? Astra starts to get concerned over what the consequences would be from cutting this down. It was too high to jump also.

In the end she decided she would just try and find away around it if she could just enter the forest and walk around it. If that didn't work she would simply look for a tree right next to the fence to use to jump over!

Sometimes the most effective choices were the simplest. Walking along the fence she'd find it tied to a mechanism on a tree a little off the beaten bath, but more importantly looking up the girl could see a rusty cracked bell poised to alert all if the fences was tampered with too much!

It was the worlds most obvious security or ambush tool! Astra paused looking up, though unless the girl had an uncontrolable curiousity to see what had happened if the bells rung she was free to continue onwards.

And heading onwards along the dusty road, soon enough in the distance she'd spot 'the geniuses' who had set it up! Goblins! They were relatively small creatures no bigger than up to Astras waist, though they beared some resemblance to halflings the goblins always appeared slightly more skinny, albeit not sickly. Beyond that, they all possessed differently shaded green skin and are reknown to be exceptionally resilient... especially to explosives.

There appeared to be atleast 4 of them, 2 in shabby looking armor, one with a large box with a smiley face on it and a female goblin, who seemed to have a stick that was fashioned like a staf... and tits far too large for her small body!

Walking to the side, Astra saw this rusty bell, and its function was quite obvious! If she had actually messed with the fence, the bell would have gone off! Pays to use your brain sometimes, eh Astra! Quite happy with herself she bypasses the fence and continues down the road.

After some traveling she could see the culprits behind the fence trap! It was some of those pesky goblins, Evan had told her some of what he knew about them. They could be a hassle when there were to many of them. Its best if I just sneak by them, no time for distractions! sticking with her plan to try and get to a village fast, Astra attempts to duck down and sneak past them from along the forest!

Combat start!

Initiative order:
1) Astra
2) Goblin Bomber
3) Goblin grunt 1-2
4) Goblin shaman

Choosing to try and keep it silent Astra took a light breath and keeping her eyes peeled on the sleeping goblins attempted sneak past. Her movements as silent as can be, she'd take step after step through the sleeping menaces--- **'DUNG!'** the girl felt her a goosebump rush across her body as SOMEONE left some sort of steel doohikey right in the middle of the road!

A doohikey that Astra managed to kick by sheer accident due to her focus on the goblins! Unfortunately as Astra looked to the blasted steel item, she'd feel... watched, before looking around and realising all the goblins were alive!

"Get 'er!" the female of the gobbo commanded as the armored gobbos rushed towards her! The goblin with the chest quickly diving to search for something in it!

Attempting to sneak past the goblins, Astra walks slowly around them. She had her eyes on the gobbos the entire time, which lead to her failure! She had managed to kick a random piece of metal left presumably by one of the goblins!

Well that's just my luck, of course it wouldn't work. Kinda dejected at her inability to sneak without something going wrong, Astra looks behind her. Only to see the goblins getting up and attacking her!

Fine then, if we must fight, Ill fight you so someone else doesn't fall into your trap! Astra said as she tried to hit both of the grunts at the same time! With a spin she cleaves her sword toward the two!
