Jasmine follows the others to the inn, which seems to be mostly empty, though the gazes of all the customers - most of them men - are on the three women. The innkeeper doesn't seem aware of that as he bustles into the kitchen, only to re-emerge soon, bringing back good sized portions of goat meat complimented with vegetables and cheese of the same as well as wine and some sort of fruit juice for drinks. Jasmine's gaze quickly picks out a young, handsomeish man to whom she directs a gaze that would probably quite literally turn a gay man into straight at least for the night. Some of the others seem to disapprove as he almost falls from his chair, staring. The guides seem perplexed, the leader directing a sharp look at Jasmine until her hand touches his and he relaxes.

Something is bothering Helena, not even she can quite pick it out. Sitting down and eating again she fails to catch anyones eye and soon excuses herself to bed, upset and confused.

Jasmine gives Helena a worried look, but no one else seems bothered by her early departure. Sometime later she can hear Ginny and the guides coming upstairs, and later still Jasmine with her meal. Sleep finds her eventually despite the noises.

In the morning Helena wakes up feeling sick and tired. The rest of the inn seems to still be quiet and a look at the clock tells her it's only 5 am.

Helena groans loudly as she rises, feeling sick and willing to fuck just about anything with legs. She should have fed last night, what the hell was wrong with her. Helena hadn't been thinking clearly as the human she used to be had tried to reassert itself in her weakened state and her night had been haunted with nightmares covering every subconscious fear she had. Even Strike had been in one, though that hadn't really been much of a nightmare...


Wondering absentmindedly if she could feed on her familiar Helena headed downstairs, her rope demon around one arm innocently, now back in her right mind and absolutely starving, she doubted she could even pull off a charm in her condition, but hopefully men were as stupid as they had always been and it wouldn't prove to difficult to snag one for a quick tumble. If all else failed there were other less socially acceptable ways to get what she needed, of that she was certain.

No one else seems to be around at this time of the day and she can't see a soul in the streets, either. She can feel Strike sleeping on the roof, having spent most of the night hunting.

Helena cursed to herself silently when she realized no one else was around, anywhere. Strike was on the roof... Gah! no. Shaking her head to try and drive the odd thoughts away she wanders around for awhile before finally resigning herself to giving it a shot, her mind continuing to return to Strike. Well, she had no idea whether or not it was possible until she gave it a shot so...

Helena can already feel energy flowing from Strike to her, though it feels less nourishing than if she was having sex with a human. Eventually the spider feels that she is ready enough and its large ovipositor extends from its belly. A few gentle prods later Helena can feel the ovipositor stretching her as it slowly slides into her honeyhole, filling her all the way to the womb. The real question was how long... Helena arrives to her room not a moment too soon, as sounds start coming from downstairs. Perhaps half an hour later there's a knock at the door and a waitress comes in, bringing her breakfast.

Helena just wiggles under the scrutiny... "Ya... Desperate. Strike was the only thing available at the time..." Helena say quietly fondly rubbing her stomach. Really unsure as to how she felt about the situation...

Jasmine shakes her head. "You should've knocked my door, I don't mind sharing. It's usually a mistake to feed from your familiar. Well you can either destroy the eggs or cover that belly with an illusion and hope they come out soon. I'd recommend letting them be, with most species it doesn't take more than a day or so and destroying them will probably upset Strike badly."
