The men unhurriedly unpack two gas cookers and start making lunch for everyone. Strike plays with Helena for a while, but eventually just curls up to rest, placing its head on Helena's lap. "We're making good time so far. We should be able to make a camp at the site, so you can start working in the morning." "That's good to hear." Ginny answers, excited despite the fatigue.

Suddenly a pop up appears: "You have been playing for almost three hours, which is hour recommended limit. Save and quit? Y/N

Helena is more annoyed by the interruption then anything and quickly chooses /N/ so that everything can resume.

The lunch break takes about an hour all in all, and after that the guides continue leading the group upwards. It's been less than an hour from the lunch when two large tentacle bears appear from behind a pile of rubble and charge towards the group, roaring.

Helena yells "Look Out!" Before bringing fire to bear and triggering the longer lasting Blink to increase her defense, she remembered these things...

Jasmine and Ginny join Helena and each of the hits the bear charging towards them, but the guards aren't so lucky, the bear attacking them managing to hit two of them, the tentacles wrapping around their victims.

Helena lashes out with a combined blast of telekinetic force, trying to kill one of them as quickly as possible before someone was hurt...

Though Helena's and Ginny's blasts go wide, Jasmine shoots a web at the bear, managing to blind it partially. The guides are doing pretty badly, as the two already hit are tangled even worse.

Helena Grits her teeth and launches another double assault, fire seeming to be more suited to the task, hoping to save their guides...

The bear manages to avoid one of Helena's blasts, sending it's tentacle towards her, only missing as she disappears before getting hit. Helena sends a double attack too and Jasmine sends another webshot, barely missing. The guides are starting to see pretty beat up, though.

Helena curses as the mixed blessing that saved her from being hit sapped the last of her reserves and she threw another bolt "Jasmine! Try and get the guides loose any way you can!"

Helena's attack misses, but Ginny's double blast hits the bear with full force. Jasmine sends a stream of web at the other bear, blinding it as well.

Helena keeps up the pressure, the sooner these things were down the better but she was torn between trying to free the Guides and getting snared herself, finally deciding that they needed the guides and rather then attack, moving close to try and pull one free.

As Helena moves to help one guide, another manages to free himself, but the bear lashes out again despite Jasmine's webshot and Ginny is getting into trouble with the other bear.

Helena finally looses all patience with the situation and her own tendrils burst from her back in a fury, both lashing out at the bear and trying to pry the last guide loose, no longer caring who knew and finally at peace with what she was...

The tentacles turn out to be quite ineffective for attacking, though they do manage to release the guide. Unfortunately the other bear manages to wrap a tentacle around her and one of the guides faints from yet another hit.

Helena yelps loudly as she remembers how sensitive her tendrils are before shes ensnared. Shouting at the injured guide to get back she wraps her own tendrils around the ones holding her and attempts to pry herself loose. having now fully joined the fray rather then attacking from the sidelines.

Even with the aid of her tentacles, Helena can't get herself loose. Ginny and Jasmine manage to hit the bear, only for it to wrap another tentacle around Ginny's arms. The guides manage to force the other bear back with their attacks.

Helena gives up trying to get loose for the moment and simply attacks the bear, trying to burn it down before anyone else was hurt or ensnared.

Helena's attack misses and the bear retaliates with full force, managing to even catch Jasmine while the other bear knocks Erin out, leaving only one of the guides still fighting.

Helena squirms around as shes further ensnared, trying to score another hit, anything to weaken it enough to finish it.
