The nearest house actually had a side window to the garage that Alex noticed when she got closer. A quick check showed that the family vehicle was gone, but right across hanging on the wall were two sport bikes. Less then what she was looking for, but a workable fallback if she decided to give up searching or came up fruitless. Though she did not see or hear any monsters nearby, the rain made it hard to detect any threats that could be stalking her.
