They gave us a holdover christmas update that the fans had been asking for while the finsh getting te rest together for the true update later on. Nothing more and nothing less. With what I've gathered they're doing nothing more than implementing Cream's animations and stomping any bugs that pop up as well as the new hidden images to the gallery so They're really just polishing it up at this point

The sloshing sounds don't particularly help, but the split second of animation of her tail getting caught behind and the ribbon falling off her tail is very nice, though subtle, I think

Yeah, arena's easy with Zeta, made it on my first try. Though I did get lucky a couple of times. For Evil-Zeta (if you really want a challenge and aren't using zeta) and Big, you can beat their guard by running away and dash-attacking them then comboing them while they're on the ground, they don't usually have enough time to get up and block before your combo starts.
I was gonna say to give it another try before you cheat, but that cat's already out of the bag.
For anyone who doesn't want to use another's save for whatever reason, use cheat-engine. I would strongly suggest going through cheat engine's tutorial (I only got to step 6 because I did something wrong, but couldn't re-start the step
) because I was able to figure this out myself after that. The address of the number of lives you have are 0072c2d6 , just set the value to a high number and you're good to go.

I've got to agree with toxic on the whole development situation. Every time they add a new character that's 26 new animations they have to do with the levels they have now. And when/if they add another level, that's 17 animations for each character, and with the 2 purposed additions there will be 8 so that's 136 animations a level on characters alone. Sure they can re-use some of the stuff from the enemies, but that's still alot of work, and will take forever. (Yay I can do math)
Add to that the fact that you know they're going to want to re-do the animations for the characters other than Zu and Zeta (sooner is better than later with this, because that's less they have to re-do) and you've got a recipe for this game never being finished.
BTW I really like the milking animation for zeta on the tentacles! Say what you will about their development stratagey, but what work they do get done is high quality.

I was first pleased but still saddened that this was only a part-release, and somewhat worried about the workload going forward that adding more extra characters etc would involve.

So you have to play the arena all the way through each time with each character to see the end bosses? No way to do it in the cinema? I tried hitting the exit sign but nothing happened.
