pfew *flexes rping muscles.* This is like ten times harder with Rovana quasi courting one of the big bads evil generals.^^

Also, just remembered that Rovana is proficient with Charisma saves, which I presume means add the +2 bonus there too, .. not much but eh. *chuckles* Next time not gonna burn my favour token thingie so quickly. ^^

Hum. Don't see much I can add here besides waiting, cause this is all Esvele's show :p. She has the background and knowledge to be able to answer Donavich.

The Charisma save was a 17, so unfortunately, she didn't make it. However, in return for standing up for her principles, Rovana can gain Inspiration. (she may need it soon!)

It seemed rather poetic for Strahd to order Ludmilla to hunt Rovana down. Oh the angst! (Also saves me having to scrape her off the walls if everyone decided to attack. ;) )

I figured Strahd wasn't throwing around anything below a dc 15.

Mmhmm.

Oh and Diaga, Vita might not be a member of the church, but if she thinks about it, she might figure that the light inside of her could be connected to the Morninglord somehow, and therefore she has just as much say in things as Esvele.

Sad fact, next roll would have been a 22.

Oh well.. I really did not expect Rovana to -overpower- Strahd, but.. I just.. couldn't in good roleplaying conscience have my CN pirate go along with servitude to the degree Strahd demands.
I'll settle for suprising him, hope for impressing and save the inspiration for somehow getting back out of the castle alive, getting in was never the hard part. ^^

spoilering commentary for my post:
So the roleplayer in me is like 'It's funny that a CN character would get someone on a technicality, 'bring her to me near death', but the medical person in me is like 'thats not how blood transfusions would work.. wait, hold on, isn't it just basically HER blood plus whatever evil vampire juices are there?

Either way.. considering the implications of a vampire giving blood in most stories, I hope you'll have a storyline writing party with that one. ^^

eh, Alignment is just a guide.

I doubted that Rovana would agree, but I wanted to offer the opportunity to court the count.

Yes, getting in is easy. Getting out is the trick.

I may need to re-read your post as I may have missed something here. :confused:

To her credit, Rovana -tried- to. She even remained respectful for.. 1 1/2 posts.

Rovana is cutting herself to bleed out faster than the timer Ludmilla has to catch her. Within a minute (or a bit less because talking and posing) she might be too close to death for Ludmilla to be ABLE to follow Strahds command to drain her, and instead have to stop the bleeding and give the pirate blood instead, for her to be brought before Strahd, barely alive as he commanded.
Its not much as far as acts of defiance go, she's banking all on Ludmilla not wanting to let her die, on her own, or through the command, but its Rovana showing her determination to do piratey things, which accidentially ends up being heroic. (or just plain crazy)^^
I guess I'll edit it to be a bit clearer in what she does.

I also guess you might ask for constitution rolls, first to be able to keep going, or then to see how long she makes it..

You're taking a big chance that vampire spawn blood has any healing properties whatsoever. ;)

*So I might have looked at some Ravenloft lore, but I avoided Strahd and Barovia, checked some other dark lords.. also geez, like two or three of them have 'Strahd kicked my ass' In their portfolio, so...

Did you read about Lord Sothe? I think he and Azalin are the only ones that Strahd was like "Yeah... just fuck off to your own land. Don't want to deal with you."

I'ma go check him out, I read up on Ravenloft Frankenstein, was a cool idea, also the werewolf guy who got his ass handed to him but also apparently likes to appear as a hot blonde on occasion, I swear he'd make an interesting kinky setting too

But I completely avoided anything in the actual Strahd adventure. The eastern gateway was my best guess for it, but I swear if Rovana lucky ends up rushing to the chapel Ludmilla wanted to avoid and poketing her necklace before falling unconscious.. or bandaging herself only to be wolf.. captured.. that'd be epic. ^^

.. even if I have to burn inspiration on a stabilization roll..

Misspelled Lord Soth.

Anyways, he's the posterboy death knight, so might be of interest for things like Ventus in your Lewdified Pathfinder game.

Heh. You might wanna check out Banshees in pathfinder... but for now, just as Rovana runs for her life, in more ways than one, we first have to do some genuine rp, but that makes the lewdities feel better and more real in a way.

I've already recongized that problem, yeah. I think I have a slightly bullshitty way to deal with this, but first lets see if theres a romantic walk over a frozen river, or mindflayer lewdities comi.. hold on, why are we chatting about this in the mists ooc? ^^

Noting down Rovanas rolls here so I don't unfairly downplay them.

Medicine to stop bleeding: 4 total.
Will fail either next round, or try and grab the necklace again... Why isn't pick poketing a rogue bonus action thingie.. *Checks* a dang it, wrong archetype.
