New game from ToraumaCompany, the developer who made Jumble Jokers and Jumble Strikers. English title would be "I am the Armor", but there is no official English title on Dlsite, so I didn't put it in the thread title.

The premise for this one is that the Demon Lord, who was defeated 200 years ago, has somehow reincarnated as a suit of armor. Shire, the descendant of the hero who defeated him, finds the armor and puts it on. The game is about the Demon Lord trying to return to power by corrupting Shire. It appears that all the H content in this one is in the battles, there don't seem to be any story scenes or side scenes in town. EDIT: There are a few scenes here and there outside of combat, but the main focus is definitely the combat scenes.

Gameplay and controls are standard RPGmaker fare, but does include an H-stats screen to track her corruption and a unique battle system (basically "battle fuck"). You control the Demon Lord armor, Shire acts on her own, and you can hinder or help her. The Demon Lord gets stronger as things progress and will learn more skills with which to sabotage and/or help her in battles.

Beast Buddies, like some other tags, is just a way for DLSite to avoid SJW's trying to shut the site down by making certain hot-button tags into something more ambiguous. Many of their tags have been renamed, and this one is literally bestiality. Other tags, such as gangbangs have also been renamed (ex. "Sharing is caring").

Oh yeah, I know about the Dlsite situation. That's why I put the "(lol)", the changes they made to the tags are hilarious and are almost certainly intended to be mocking (in my opinion).

Maybe related, I noticed they've also made it so that when you click on any work with AI generated art, it redirects you to the main site instead of the work you clicked on. Not sure if this is just them panicking about Western copyright law or another thing they were forced into by CC companies.

Not just the Western copyright laws, but guessing many Japanese companies care a bit less about copyrights than the rest of the world.
 
Anyone knows if it's possible to go over 10 with the slugs? Jumble Strikers 2 made it possible in NG+ (after changing dimensions), but it doesn't seem possible in this one.

From what I saw in the event structure while translating, no. 10 seems to be the limit. (There's a check at the start of the event, and if the variable is 10 or more, nothing happens.) I don't -think- it changes in new game+, but I haven't really looked into how that works for this game, didn't see anything in the slug event (or any other events, for that matter) that changes based on game cycle.
Side note if anyone wondered, the chance of the max amount increasing is 1 in 9 normally, and 1 in 3 if she has the "anal sensitivity" debuff.
 
I like the game, but it's not as enjoyable as the last two games.

Either the armor or the enemies covers too much of the MC for most of the H-scenes. Some scenes in Jumble Strikers are just better than any scenes that this game can offer.
Overall, it feels like there are less scenes and options since there is only 1 girl.
As it is a single MC BF game that took years of development, it is going to be compared with other games like Magical Girl Celesphonia, Karryn's Prison, Tunnel Escape, and other similar games that came out in recent years. This game cannot compete with the top ones at all.
For animations, I prefer the ones in Strikers as well.

The plus I feel in this game are:
A semi-voiced mc
Interesting take on sabotaging the heroine (Pray game had something similar as well, so this isn't entirely unique)

Jumble Joker's gameplay is a little dated now, but in my opinion, the previous two games were better for their time, with Strikers still being a better game than this one.

Yep, I agreed, it doesn't have as much 'Jumble Striker' feel in it.

It is hard to point out exactly where the formula went wrong, since each one of us probably have our own preferences, perspectives, and takes in life, but if I were to point out a few flaws:
- The battle H doesn't have a strong build-up as the previous games ( like the VN lines before, during, and after climax. They could use better innovations if they want to phase out the VN ).
- Since there is only one playable characters, there aren't as many likeable H scenes ( since I prefer sexual teasing more than the actual sex insertion scenes, but this is just me )
- There are less strategies to utilize in the battle, this one is played almost on the level of god-mode, so there are less excitement to be discovered in-battle
- Even if they utilize two player control characters, one with the Hero-saint blessing while the other with the Demon Lord armor, I doubt the game will keep most players interest for long with the current game formula.
- In short, the game is lacking 'something' that could 'Capture' the players interest. The idea is there, but the execution's is not very good ( kinda like how Illusion Soft makes their Underoid game, it could have been a better game, but their poor deliveries makes it kinda High quality in one aspect and Low quality in three other aspects ).
