Re: Trapped in the Underdark ~ Out of Character discussion
You being unable to have your character roleplay out or even articulate your actual desires is not a misunderstanding. I find kneeling down and going 'plz dominate us' pretty hard to misunderstand.
Your character had been posing for both bidders all along, but finally moved to the halfling, then so did Sophie after which I posted.
I've been debating with myself how to respond to this, as it seems like we're getting into defensive territory here.
In the end, this is the situation:
>I think I was very clear about things.
>You think I was not clear at all.
That is the misunderstanding. We have had a failure to communicate. Can we at least agree to that and move on?
I like both Ventus and Merrium. For me, I wasn't really bothered by one or the other. In the end, I would have preferred my OOC vote to count more than the IC one, because I had showed (in my mind) equal favor to each of them.
As for what I'm saying now, I'm not giving you flak. I'm just saying that I personally like nice mistresses. From what I know of you, you like them too, so that doesn't seem like a big problem to me.
After which I got flak from multiple sides, telling me how dislikeable my characters on a sexual basis are, its, to be frank, quite annoying.
Like I said, didn't give you any flak. Sorry if you thought I did.
A little about myself. I've written erotica for soon ten years and have been making money off of it for the last one and a half year.
If I write a halfling dom, I can write her in such a way that WILL leave you suprised at something small and cute dominating you so throughoutly.
I can. I don't have to and I wont, if I get constant backlash and back push and commentary. I'm doing this for my entertainment as well.
Your creativity and writing skill aren't the issue. No one is doubting any of that.
You're GMing for five people with five different sets of likes and dislikes. And, as you say, you're writing for yourself at the same time. I think we all like your characters from a narrative point of view. Some people were probably just concerned that their favored kinks were not going to be addressed.
I am not one of them, however. 'Dominate me, plz.'
