For Hydra boss you must learn to watch the boss while spanking it. The spikes from below do not appear randomly - the boss has two sets of tentacles (a pair in front of it and a pair behind). When it puts them into ground just stop attacking and start observing the floor for incomming attacks. Most likely you will need to change the platform. As long as both sets are in the air you are free to attack. On top of that there is the 'trunk' tentacle, which is rather obvious - when the boss raises it, switch platform.

Well, I remember that part. But what the person was asking for help in was after the Dino boss. My memory is slightly diminished and I do not remember a "hydra" room, not the boss.
The boss was fun though.

He's talking about the platform room where the bottom is completely filled with the tentacle plants (hydra) that has two pendulums and one of those ghosts in between them. Some of the jumps have to be made VERY at the end. I say use the lance magic to hit the ghost, THEN make the jump over the pendulums.

I like the idea, but i myself believe that the kiss effect were not brainwashing, but a draining one...
First when the priestess tied up, she tries to keep her skirt up, but after that, the dominatrix kiss her draining all the priestess power, that's explain the gulp sound, the dominatrix absorb the priestess power. Then the priestess were enslaved and whipped to forever have sex with her minion.

I don't see her as a happy sex slave in the game over. I'm thinking that all her ability to physically resist is taken away, and she effectively gives up, but her mind remains clear, knowing what she was and what she's now become.
(I find that hotter, but if you want to believe she's a happy hypnotized girl, then whatever floats your boat. She's definitely not smiling in that final game over picture.)

So I've worked out the easy way to kill the succubus without having to be cheap and collect blue jewels until you can spam cross attacks.
Get close, start wailing away with the whip (preferably the hold up + attack to get two attacks in quick succession with each strike).
When she prepares her whip to strike, jump up and then in mid air do an Up + Attack to essentially double jump. You can do this again on the way down to hover again to avoid the purple ground explosion attack, then keep wailing away at her.
When she summons those guys, they don't have that much health two double attacks will kill them. It's best to kill them very quickly, because then you'll have no one in your way when she sends that zigzag purple chain attack at you. Simply hop over it, and wail away at her, as her recovery time from that chain throw is veeeeeeery slow.
A very short bit of practice should have you killing the bitch without the need for a single special attack. Now we just need to wait for the next update. This is the best boss to lose to by far... can't wait to see what's next. For those of you who play ragnarok online, what other enemies do you think he'll use?

A Fenrir might be interesting... Fast... Unpredictable... Some Fabre would be hard to hit and could have the ability to Pupate into the Creamy... A flying Poison sporing enemy could be potentailly VERY annoying... ^-^

soooo, what happened to the savegame link? I'm not about to go back through all those level just to see a new scene... If anyone could point me to a savegame just before the last boss I'd appreciate it.
