edit: wait i had one! and it was constructive (through negativity -- bonus points right there).

Hey, constructive through negativity is practically my middle name, but it was still part of a running ramble that had nothing to do with this thread, and what little it DID have, was connected to PM requests which aren't supposed to be here anyway.

so ever since I first heard about Jail I tried to DL it from the authors blog but it was constantly busy so I left it alone for a few months hoping the hype would die down a little, now months later I try to access from the authors blog I keep getting error messages saying it can't be accessed. Can someone point me in the right direction?

yeah these are the same links from the authors blog which I already tried and keep getting error message saying "403 Forbidden". The same error I get from trying to get into the regular game page.

so is the author blocking out foreign IPs? I'm in the USA btw

He isn't blocking foreing IP at the moment, since I can download, and I'm not in japan.

The problem might lie somewhere else. If you think the pb is the IP / country, you might want to try using a VPN to get past.

Problem is definitely not the IP/Country. I'm from US and been download just fine from his site since he started making the game.

guess I'll try again later, one thing is for sure is that I get the error message when accessing any page with "coocan.jp" in the address

It could be an issue with your local internet provider. This doesn't mean they blocked the domain.... It could just mean that mean it had trouble finding/accessing the webpage (DNS conflicts, etc).

Try again in a couple weeks and maybe by then it'll be fixed. At least that's been my experiences when I get a "forbidden" error.... the cache might get flushed if you don't try to access the site for an extended period of time.

wow i was having trouble using the password for and it turns out the auto translate messed up the placing of a symbol , i feel so dumb =_=

Edit: missing 3 endings , does anyone know how to edit the save file to get all or can someone upload save file?

Don't think there such a thing right know.
It's a WIP, and all the peoples who commented on what they founded, said that they were missing 3 CG. Guess there not included yet. They might be in the game file, but if so, I don't have a clue as how to acces them.

ah kk thnx. The missing CG were pretty randomly placed so i thought they exist or was hoping the did :D

Okay, so I got to play around with the game for a bit, and I've got a few questions for other players, just in case someone knows something I don't.

-What's the rag for? I mean, I know you jill off with it, but then you have a "charged" rag that you then drop in place if you use it again. If this is supposed to be some kind of lure/distraction for patrolling rapists, it doesn't seem to work that way. Maybe it spawns some kind of rare hazard/monster?

-What's "exp"? It seems to tally up as you endure abuse, and the protagonist starts to look a rather haggard if it gets too high, but does it actually DO anything? I don't imagine we'll be cashing in points "won" by being put through the wringer...

Anyone know why he stopped updating UHS and started working on UHJ? It's such a shame, since UHS has alot more potential.

Cause he finished the game and wanted to work on something new. Its only natural to move on to a new project after working on something for so long.

It helps to switch things up in development, to keep the mind fresh. Look on the bright side - there's a pretty good chance working on UHJ will give him inspiration and new ideas for the next Sanctuary-style game.
