Disappointing... Perhaps I shall make my way to these mines.. See if any answer lay there for my taking..

Erinaye leaves the room, and descends the stairs, leaving her old home. She heads in the direction of the mines, from what she can remember...

Knowing that the mines lay on the other side of town, Erinaye tries to plot a way there across town as she descends the stairs of her former home. She could try to parallel the main road through side streets, or travel directly down the wide open main road. Her thoughts are interrupted as she walks out the door, however, by the sight of a trio of tall, gray skinned humanoid creatures. The lead one gives her a toothy grin as she notices them standing in front of her, only ten feat away.

It would take longer on the side street but... less interference would be likely.. Ugh what is that? it saw me... Not a human? long teeth..

Erinaye sees the trio in front of her, and decides to take out the grinning idiot first, striking at it's eyes hoping to remove them from the skull!

Damage: 1 + 2 + 14 + 3 = 20 damage.

The creature is not caught completely unaware by Erinayes strike, and manages to save one of its eyes. It roars in pain, and mutters something in a strange language.

Casting: 11 + 11 + 10 - 4 = 27 vs 16 = Success.
Mind vs Mind: 8 + 22 = 30 vs 16 + 14 + 3 = 33 == Erinaye wins.

Erinaye closes her eyes just in time, as a sudden blinding light flashes in front of her, and would have blinded her had her eyes been open. She opens her eyes again to see the other two coming at her with their claws.

To-hit: 2 + 24 = 26 vs 36 = Miss.
To-hit: 19 + 24 = 43 vs 36 = Hit.
Damage: 5 + 6 = 11 damage.

Erinaye avoids one, but is boxed in by the other, and its claws rake her arm, drawing long lines of blood and torn skin.

Erinaye continues the attack against the half blinded caster, aiming a powerful kick directly towards it's nose.

To-hit: 13 + 28 + 3 = 44 vs 28 = hit.
Damage: 4 + 2 + 14 + 3 = 23 damage.

Erinaye can hear the crunch of breaking bones as her jumping kick lands, sending the demon flying to the side. The other two demons claw at her again as she lands.

To-hit: 6 + 24 = 30 vs 36 = Miss.
To-hit: 6 + 24 = 30 vs 36 = Miss.

She avoids their reaching claws with ease, getting another opportunity to launch an attack.

Erinaye eyes the creature who drew blood from her arm, and throws an elbow at it's throat!

To-hit: 16 + 28 + 3 = 47 vs 28 = hit.
Damage: 3 + 2 + 14 + 3 = 22 damage.

Erinayes arm strikes the creature right where she wanted, hitting it in the throat and sending it reeling away from her, emitting choking sounds. It seems to be out of the fight for the moment, at least. Its companion rakes its claws at her again, undeterred.

To-hit: 19 + 24 = 43 vs 36 = Hit.
Damage: 4 + 6 = 10 damage.

Its claws rakes across her belly before she can avoid them fully, drawing three long lines of blood across her abdomen as the demons jagged claws drag across her belly.

Erinaye clutches her wound in pain, grimacing she strikes back at the attacker.

Erinayes fist crunches into the demons face, and it recoils in pain, giving Erinaye a brief reprieve from the demons attacks.

Erinaye moves in on the formerly stunned opponent, striking in hopes to end it's life.

Erinaye snap kicks the demon in the face, breaking its neck with the force of her blow. The last of her foes fallen, Erinayes wonders what exactly she'd just fought.

Erinaye, gasps while catchinng her breath, bending down to examine the 3 corpses strewn before her.

Her wounds stop bleeding quickly enough, though they still ache quite a bit, and as she examines the bodies Erinaye notices how their strange skin seems to change colors with the background, blending in. It might be valuable to the right person.

Hmph, seems whoever created these intended for them to be very stealthy... I wonder if their skin retains that property once removed?

Erinaye looks for someway to remove the skin from the former owners, and then continues in the direction of the mines.

(Technically you need to rest before you can use your exp, but I'll make an exception for you just this once.)

It takes a while, but Erinayes manages to free a section of skin from each of the dead demons. She moves on, but her progress is halted once more as a strange looking woman shambles out of a house toward her. The woman is completely naked, and a tail and a trio of tentacles extend from her back, while something strange dangles between the womans legs. The rest of her is fairly normal, pale skin and average sized breasts, though she does have several strange deformations in various places. She doesn't seem overtly hostile, but her odd condition is worrying.

(Gain 3x Stalker Skin.)

Erinaye sees the deformed woman shambling towards her, and decides to see if she is hostile.

"Stop where you are woman, or I will turn you to ash!"

(It's okay. You need to rest, as in sleep. Not being under immediate attack is insufficient. )

As she speaks, the woman halts and turns her head, as if confused. A moment later she continues toward Erinaye, apparently unconcerned or not understanding of her threat.

Erinaye begins to gather energy in her hands preparing for an energy blast if the woman thing didn't stop.

The woman still does not stop, and suddenly surges forward, trying to grab Erinayes.

To-hit: 13 + 24 = 37 vs 36 == Hit.

Erinayes is just barely unable to avoid the womans attack, as she wraps her arms around Erinayes waist, destabilizing. She is able to remain on her feet, however.
