So the other day I was getting bored of waiting for Iris action and other crap,so I decided to hunt for some old fashion viper games,after hours(not exagerating)
I finally found a working link for rsr(sadly its a torrent so it wont last long).
But I ran into a problem,its all in Moonrune so I have no idea whats going,it seems like an rpg but I'm not sure.If anyone has a walkthrough of some sort would they please share?

Also,if this is the wrong section,please direct me,cause I can't find a request section.

Hi! newbie here,

First of all thanks for mrxthemusic3 for seeding and giving links for this great game, i've been searching for this game ever since i saw the gifs several years ago.

Hopefully i'm not too late too give some walkthrough, basically, the game are divided into several chapter, so far i only palyed until the 4th.

There are 4 main heroes i.e. Elan (the red haired guy), Alpa (the blue haired elf), Cala (the pink haired girl), and jota (the blonde girl).

chapter 1
the town only have several places to visit i.e. the shop, elan's house, colloseum, church, and castle (you have to visit each of them once i think).

Form your house go to the shop (merchant A), then get out of the town (you'll see alpa) then battles random encounter until elan says something then get back to town (you can't get back until elan says something), get back again to the shop, then go to the castle where you'll see cala for the first time, go on the second floor to meet the princess and proceed to the church and colloseum to fight cala, after that go back to the castle to see the king, after that go back to your house and that will end the first chapter..

hope this helps, i vaguely remember the 1st chapter, since this game didn't offer a replay or gallery mode which is a sad thing..

Btw, anybody here knows how to rip games like this along with the sound?

The game is incredibly linear. Pretty much, you walk through town and talk to everyone several times before moving on, then go out onto the map and find a tower or cave that lets you go inside. If it doesn't, walk around until you find an exit into a new map.

My MAJOR problem with this game was that I had to cheat to get a lot of the h-scenes since my party members would kill the bosses that offered them instead of just fucking dying. Also, the "random" battles are way too common.

sorry to necro such an old thread, but i need some help finding this game. sukebei and the link on the first post of this thread are both dead. any one know any direct links or another torrent with active seeds? much appreciated.

. The torrent comes with a bunch of different Sogna games, so if you have a torrent client that can filter out individual files, you can just select the Viper RSR game to be downloaded.

The seeds are still active as I'm downloading it right now, but I'll seed a bit after too.

You need a torrent client that allows you to do it; Usually you can select the torrent and see the files you're currently downloading, from there you can skip the files you don't want.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't find the king. I followed everything you said to the letter, but when I go to the third floor of the castle to find the king, nobody is there. If I leave the town a second time, I end up fighting monsters forever and the town doesn't let me back in.

I have no idea.

EDIT: Figured it out, have to go back outside and fight some more first before you can see the king.
