I'd really like to know, so many different games on dlsite explain what they are with just 3 letters i know these ones


NTR- netorare

ADV- adventure game?



can anyone help me out with the others?

SLG means Simulation Game, I believe.

Note that while NTR is generally Netorare, it can also cover Netori (which give a really different feel, and as such DLSite have the Netorare AND Netori tag)

FPS - First Person Shooter
Also Frames Per Second (low FPS = 'laggy' looking)

ACT - Action
ADV - Adventure aka Visual Novel
RPG - Role Playing Game
SRPG - Strategy Role Playing Game
ARPG - Action Role Playing Game
STG - Shooting

Yup! Also:

RTS - Real Time Strategy
SHMUP - Shoot 'em Up, note you won't see this on DLSite but these games are also referred to as Curtain Fire or Bullet Hell shooter games. Touhou being the best example!
