I know this isn't much different than what I posted recently, but what can I say? I'm in love with The Pretty Reckless and Taylor Momsen. When I got the limited edition of their album, I found they included two acoustic versions of their songs. Apparently they wrote all of the songs on acoustic before adding the electric riffs and stuff. I don't know if a lot of groups do that, but I found that idea pretty cool. Anyway, here are live videos of those songs that I really like.

from Splatoon. Don't let the name fool you, it's pretty fucking great, and probably my favourite track from the game. Though nearly all the music in Splatoon has been surprising, the majority of it isn't something you'd think would come from a Nintendo game.

The song is a gloriously cheesy pastiche of 80s pop music, with an absolutely amazing music video which draws from the short film "Kung Fury" which is a flurry of references to and parodies of 80s pop culture and martial arts films. It's also available completely free and legal on Youtube. :)

I'm on a French kick because of some story ideas featuring French and German girls boinking each other. I wanted to find some French music to get me into the mood. (I'm a German American, so I already have music for that). Since I know nothing about French music and have forgotten all the French I learned in high school, it was kind of a challenge, but this is what I found. Pretty cool.

My brother let me listen to their newer album Heroes and holy shit these guys are good. At least I think they are anyway. This entire album is about World War 2 stuff, which is one of my favorite wars to read about.

From their new album that came out back in May. This is an awesome fucking song. But then again, Two Steps From Hell have never come out with a bad song imo.
