What's Your Top 5?

I stumbled upon H-RPG's and in turn this site about a year ago. Being unemployed, young and with a raging libido as well as a stable internet connection I then spent the next... well... quite some time (too much probably) playing every game I could get my hands on. Moonspeak makes some of them hard to get, but with the patience bolstered by a wish to feed my libido and the assistance of a few rough translating programs I have managed to get quite a bit.

But as time goes on, and I manage to plough through games at a breakneck speed, I find myself playing faster than the new games come out, so I have begun working my way backwards instead. That's when it hit me, that maybe I could find new interesting games based on other people's recommendations. So with that I'd like to pose a question. What five H-games are your favourite (and why?).

Mine are (in no specific order):

Ariadne: Great story, great artwork and it taps into several of my fetishes at once. I also like that the H content isn't forced on you, or you are railroaded into them as is the case with some of my other favourites. I actually never finished this game, as I started playing a translated version of this, and now find myself waiting for the rest of the translation before I continue. Looking forward to the optional prison part as I have heard a bit about it from these boards.

Rhode's Fortress and Sangeki of Gear by Scale Garden: I've lumped these two games together, as they are very similar in gameplay. I LOVE the artwork, and the simple animation of the girl's boobs bouncing is brilliant. I also like the combat system and clothing system (with the additional exhibitionism quest in Sangeki as an added benefit). This game also taps into mulitple fetishes of mine, with voyeur/exhibitionism and humiliation happening in droves (which is awesome!). For the most part the story is great as well, but the railroaded h-scenes in both games - the ones necessary for the plot to continue - I am not so much a fan of.

The Green Shadow Rachel by Combin Ation: You're probably beginning to see a trend here in the stuff I dig. Humiliation of a super heroine as well as lots of exposure, both accidental and not so much. The 3D art took some getting used to, and the combat system is so-so (especially compared to something like Sangeki above), but it's a game I've returned to more than once, and it got me to begin following the artist's work. Not a scat favourite, but (as I recall) it is not as prevalent in this game as it is in Combin Ation's other works.

Story of Two Swords: This one was one of the games I managed to finish in moonspeak, simply because it was well done, had great art and a very decent amount of H-content. I cannot put my finger on one specific thing that made me pickout this game over a myriad of others, so maybe it is just a well-rounded combination of all the things I am looking for. I am also somewhat a fan of the notion of two heroines who each face different amounts of H to the point where one can remain a virgin throughout the game, while the other is forced through quite a few encounters. Awesome.

I've chosen mostly completed games (if not, Yummytiger's upcoming creation might easily have found its way in here, as would a couple of other work's in progress).

I have to say your story is identical to mine lol!

Similar game tastes, although I tend to go for bigger breasts in hentai (not ridiculous ones, Rhodes, and the chick in Arms Devicer are about the size I like!)

Ariadne(Same as you, I havent actually completed it due to the ongoing translation)
Magica
TS-Agent (A really good game, but would have benefited from more variety of H-scenes, alot of scene reuse, but I really enjoyed the premise of it (the focus on costumes, tho the costume system itself could have been implemented better), Another negative is its in Japanese =/)
Virgin Island (Good but quite frustratingly complicated)

Honorable Mentions:

Naked Order:
I liked the idea behind it (tho I think some did not), but, main character was a bit young looking for my liking

Marionette Fantasy:
Really small game, but it made me feel like a bit of a douche playing a porn game, which I thought was hilarious! (basically she (the main character of the game) gets transported into your Hentai game and talks to you. the player)

The Parallel Fantasy games (Not sure if IF has an english translation yet, if it does I will play it all the way through)

(Damn spent ages making urls on the names but then found out I couldnt, which I already knew but owell!)

Quite a few others I have played and might have put on the list if I could remember them!

Assuming this is about completed games, the following are in no particular order:

Sengoku Rance
Mainly for the story and the gameplay (seriously). The images are no where as hardcore as some other games, but the mechanics are great and actually enjoyable; demonstrating that porn game as has more to it than just the porn

Pretty Warriors May Cry
A great game with great CGs - animated with cell shading, and plastic shading versions. Unforuntately, the gameplay was copied from another game, and there was probably copyright violations for having characters that look like other trademarked character (which everyone wanted to see in those scenarios anyways, but i digress).
It's like a dungeon master game.

Parallel Fantasy IF+
Questionable how "complete" it is given that it's still buggy as crap in its "core" features (h-mechanics). But the hardcore-ness is great. There is NTR, which I'm fine with, but the main character is a bit 'older' looking than my perference. Nonetheless, a great amount of content.

Ariadne
Story and game mechanics are solid. Decent variety of costumes, but for some reason, lacks the ability to go around fully nude. Not enough combat rape/sex mechanics can get grindy at times.

Maiden Snow Eve
Also questionable if it's actually complete. But has mechanics similar to those of D&P. Lacks variation of scenes and not enough costumes and useful lust stats. Sometimes buggy, and sometimes, actually hard.

1. Ariadne/Magica: I liked both but I'm grouping them in as one for sake of simplicity. Story for Magica was pretty good and what I know of Ariadne too. Combat for Magica was as you can guess very magic oriented but if you went with the pure route then the new game+ was a joke. Ariadne had the interesting stamina battle mechanic and 2 actions per turn. I beat the game before the translation (thanks etiogoya for your walkthrough) but it's an amazing game combatwise. Really makes you plan your action.

2. Parallel Fantasy series: I like Aty and tbh the corruption is nice. I don't like how buggy the games are though. I know I'm biased b/c of the whole Aty thing and all but this is an opinion list.

3. The Acerola games: I know it's based off the saboten games (I only played that Selphy one) or is the new saboten games but I really enjoy these. I like how you need semen to lvl up or lvl up your gear and such. Game is really easy especially if you decide to whore yourself but I try not to. Combat isn't hard and I like the if you press 'z' when you face enemy can autokill.

4. Shoku games: Although it's impossible to complete the game a virgin, fun game. I guess in these games I like the classic jrpg feel with the various outfits you can have. My favorite would be Holy Knight Francois.

5. Sacred Eyes: Great game overall. Story was good and I liked the different endings depending on which path you chose.

Wow, I have a completely different list than most of you guys. Personally, I stay away from Japanese RPGs unless they're really good and translated. For that reason I've never been able to get through the Scalegarden games.

My favorite, and these are mostly very close:

1: Monster Girl Quest (primarily 1/2)
This was a great RPG where the combat was more about you making the correct strategic moves rather than relying on grinding for levels or stocking up on items. Typically, if you lost a fight it meant you played it wrong. The only problem that I had with the series is that 2 and 3 started adding more and more of these extremely messed up piles-of-flesh as opponents, rather than anything you would expect a girl/woman to look like. A lot of the later monsters were just not appealing to me at all.

2: Sengoku Rance
As someone else stated, this was a good game for the gameplay overall. It's fun to have Rance around trying to hit on everyone, and it's really great seeing characters from previous games being shipped out to help. But the gameplay itself is so great (and you have to play through numerous times to see it all) that it becomes fun to play just as a video game.

3: Violated Heroine
This one was a bit of work for me to get running and (partially) translated, but boy was it worth it! Many of the events you can re-play at different corruption levels to see differently, and the world is huge and full of funny things to do. My only gripe with this game is that it isn't all translated, so there are times where I stumble into an area and suddenly everything is in Japanese and I have no idea what to do.

4: Parasite in City
Amazing action game with awesome sprite-sex that was actually quite difficult to play when you were still learning the game. The third level is still a race against the clock even when I know exactly what I'm supposed to be doing.

5: Marionette of the Labyrinth
This was an RPG/Action game that I actually did play through before it was translated (though it is translated now). It's got a few distinct zones, with lots of sprite sex, a rather interesting storyline considering it was an H game, and the different outfits you can change the character between keeps the H interesting as you progress through the game.

1. Fairy Fighting. This is always my go to game. Fun gameplay, amazing content, easily accessible and everything. Only gripe I have with it is that some of the animations added later in development has a bit too few frames, and as such don't feel particularly smooth.

2. LAB -Still Alive-. Holy shit, this game. I've played through this game so many times, and in so many ways. No sex runs, only kill bosses runs, no upgrades runs, "no escaping when caught" runs... the game has great pornographic content, and amazingly fun gameplay!

3. The Lewdbeasts, The Witch and Her Daughter. Tower defense game that's pretty fun, if a bit too easy to cheese. Great h, awesome music and a decent and depressing story. Cool stuff.

4. Vitamin Quest/Drop Factory. Both have bestiality, especially the latter, and in addition to that some other relatively rare and amazing fetishes. Good/decent gameplay respectively, and a hot protagonist. Generally just solid RPGs.

5. Kurovadis. Not so much for the porn, since it's kind of mediocre if you ask me (granted, I never finished it), but for the aesthetics of the game, its atmosphere and its really good gameplay.

Dungeons and Prisoners would've been on the list if it was actually done and had more content... I can't even begin to tell you how frustrating it is for me as a bestiality/monster fan that gigantic minotaurs, wolves and horses has human dicks when when shit goes down. Simply way too unfinished.

...hmm ya rpg maker or roleplaying games are quite fun, but sadly most of the time they lack in the quality of the artwork compared to 'VN' games...

my list for VN games 1 being the most favoured...

1. Dirty Prison Ship by eroquis circle, artist is butcha-u, also check other works of butcha-u if you dig his art, but I feel this game is his masterpiece

2. definetly stuff by hiroyuki ando, his oldest VN from the circle Discovery Mars I uncovered again, recently...I think he released 2 or 3 more VN's though

3. Dieslmine VN's are always of high quality mostly sound voice acting, writing, and art is working particularly well in these ones if you look at the game as a whole and not the seperate parts. I believe dargoth translated a bunch of the older Violated Hero games fully, but then I am not that much into shota...

4. 3ping lovers, I realy did like that VN, I believe it was also made into an amv...

5. I also liked the artowrk of zunta in the game Hell Blade released by the circle Sky Walk, it's a bit rough on the domination side though, compared to other VN's

there are many more vn's though that was just the first 5 that came to my mind...


now for rpg maker games/ roleplaying games, hope I can find 5...

1. Dream Tiger a fun game, I intend to translate that one at some point...it has funny art in it, hehe

2. Inma Meikyuu-roku Fatina by Libra Heart

3. you can also check on games by a-matures some of the games are vn others are with roleplaying elements like labyrinth/trap games...real fun to play actually, I remember the game Orc Kingdom was also fun...by the circle morningstar rush

4. Crossing Knightmare sticks out as well...for obvious reasons

5. lastly, it's...hmmm...you kinda play the role of a succubus, but the game type is more like jump and run with animated sprite h-scenes on normal minons and the boss fights, that look fun, name of the game seems to be erotic eater here is a link to a forum post on ulmf about the game http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showthread.php?t=22164

...ahh 'CoC = Corruption of Champions' was mentioned already, good! The game is only text based, but you basically play your own created character in there, sadly the real gems of this game just open up after you played it for some time and unlocked all the fun stuffs, definetly alot of fun in there if you give it some time...the creator is kinda mean though, keeping all the good stuff unil you spent hours playing his game, hehe...
