Natalie sighed as she watched the kobolds depart, and then shrugged, got up, cleaned herself up, and got dressed. She would eye the carcass of the drider for a moment before shrugging again and making to leave. They would be able to retrieve the corpse for study later, and she didn't much fancy her chances of successfully dragging it out of here and back to town anyway.

Mat says, finally getting the lantern to work and picking it up, driving the shadows a bit further away into the darkening woods. "Is the plan still the same?" Jason asks in turn, nervously holding his bow.

Jason leads Mat and Natalie to the campsite and sets upon making a fire, keeping it small and hidden while Mat puts up the tent. The sky is looking clear, which would hopefully make things a bit easier for the magicked eyes, not that there would be much starlight in the woods.

Drawing the circle on uneven round and chanting the words in the night air, the magic feels wilder and less controllable. The spell still works and four images slowly fade into view in the mirror lit by starlight. Though dim and somewhat blurry, the eyes work well enough to let her see any shapes moving into or out of the mine entrance, and she finds that she can make one of the images at a time clearer if she concentrates and shuts off everything else. Mat and Jason are both staying alert, neither seeming to be willing to go to sleep just yet.
