AI is the cheapest artist out there. People will be able to tell you used AI and that will cost business, but also some people don't care.

Check the Recruitment section on Lemmasoft forums first, or search #commissionsopen on Twitter and VGen. Whatever you do, have a clear budget and visual references ready. Pay for a single test portrait before signing anyone up for the whole project.
