I do have a question, would people rather me clear this thread when chapter 1 is released, create a new thread, or just leave it as-is?

I would vote for a clean thread for Chapter 1. Makes it easier than removing all the posts debating when/if it will ever come out. At the end of this thread you can then put a post quoting all the nay-sayers pointing to a link to the game.

I would rather a new thread once you release Chapter 1 so that it's easier to find information relevant to the bulk of the content. Trying to navigate over 60 pages can be intimidating and time consuming.

Wasn't it stated already that Aylia wasn't a virgin, that she had a lover before she was encased in that crystal. Did Yummytiger change his mind and added a virgin route?

On another note, a title change saying Chapter 1 updated such and such a date, otherwise I'd say leave the thread alone, there is a search function for a reason.

She wasn't a virgin because she's already lived for hundreds of years before getting stuck in the crystal. However, YT's lore department has said that she's only been with one lover previously, and I believe it was planned for there to be a route in which you avoid H as much as possible.

Correct, Aylia is not a virgin at the beginning. She's had a lover and a fiance (in Eliandre terms). Although, everything they did was extremely vanilla, so even something like a blowjob is foreign to Aylia. Therefore, you'll get to experience a lot of her "firsts" along the way.

Yes, I plan for a fairly "pure" route. This is was on the biggest reasons for putting rivals in the game. I wanted a way for players to keep Aylia "pure," but still feel like they're playing a porn game. Therefore, when Aylia dodge a sexual scene, odds are, someone else is getting screwed... aww, poor Kira, Triste, and Lynne...

Any chance of a 3rd option where EVERYONE gets screwed?

I mean, some games have timed system (either real time or in-game days) where you must complete an objective or something happen.
Example: must reach X location before Y days or the army that's there will be wiped out.

What if there's a 3rd, specifically on the cuff of arriving early and too late, moment.
Using the army example. If you arrives early you joins up with them and either the enemy withdraw due to the increased force, or with the extra manpower your army can now go on the offensive (the 'normal' story)
Arrives late and there'd be nothing, the battle occurred while you weren't there.

But if you arrive just on time, the battle would be going already. You can either enter the frays or stands back (same result as arriving too late)
Victory would be similar to arriving early as far as plot goes, but there might be some casualty or other flags that only occurred on this specific timing.


If it's not possible to fit this in, that's fine, just felt like dropping this idea in case you can fit it in the future chapter or future project.

See, that's where 98% of H-games fail. They make porn games, with "pure" routes, where you get no CG/anything H-related. I mean, yes, H-games can be good for their story ( MGQ <3 ) but making a porn game, with a route where you get little to no CG... that's just dumb!

I am currently waiting on the next part of VPM's translation, and I think I already played Virgin Island real quick, when it came out, but it was untranslated, and I didn't know about machine translation back then... Maybe i'll give it another try some day

Virgin Island's translation was done by MonkeyMan, and he said he used a machine translation as a base, but it is a well translated game. It does not read like a machine translation, and I'm pretty sure he consulted with someone fluent to get some of the more obscure stuff translated correctly.

If you have not played it, you must. Virgin Island is a huge reason I started making Aylia's Story. I loved it, and wanted to produce an English game with similar qualities. Something about his artwork just does it for me, I love Rifi's character and style.

I agree, YT, I find Virgin Island very well made (though I've played not fully translated version, but nevertheless).
And that's why I'm waiting for the game of the author with the same values that are already proven in Prologue.
One more thing that it's useful and entertainig reading artistic written English by non-native speaker.

its pretty damn good, the only thing that bothers me is the fullscreen.

If it isn't a RPG Maker XP game you can use 'Sizer' to adjust the windows size to your liking, it's really good with machine translations to have a big windowed mode and the translation at the side

Yes you have end hunter quest translation we can hope chapter 1 out for be out between 07/22/2016 to January 2021
