Meanwhile, as Melissa started to learn from this situation, she started to come back to Earth, and realize a number of things. First, she had a large amount of Essence sucked from her, and was very dry at the moment. Second, Mina was pouting in fear below her, as if afraid of something. And third, Melissa didn't know how, but she knew, that she had actually grown a little more powerful from being inside such a behemoth of essence like that...

The swirls and currents of essence, flowing from Melissa into Mina and being channeled right back, leave Melissa dizzy and weak, stunned and disbelieving, not wanting to reach out and touch Mina lest she find out that she's hallucinating. Jenn stumbles about, not really seeing the events around her as the foul gas slowly leaves her mind.
