It's okay to be a bit hard. If people have legitimate criticisms about the game, let the developers hear it. The game is still in the making so give the developers all your criticisms and ideas, it'll make the final product that much better. Being a "Yes Man" is one of the worst things you can do for a developer.

Just curious if you don't mind me asking, how did you get a VA for this? I'd imagine most people would be too embarrassed for this type of work.
Yes, throw all the criticism at us!

Our VA is actually a famous person in the world of VA for a few renown games , we were extremely lucky that we knew someone who knew somebody who knew somebody type of thing.

Seems to be the general consensus. Punch him in the face, gut him like a pig, I can tell people love Melvin already, which means he's doing a great job!

I played the demo and it was great! The characters were drawn well and seems to be a good story quest we got going here. All the demo showed us was Ayame getting a job and getting groped and I love the slow corruption process and by the looks of the map it looks like quite a few different jobs she can do.

Although the town is empty with no people on it. Maybe add some to the final version along with some interaction with them like some people that will grope you as you pass by or teens playing a prank on her. Maybe take the bus ends up Ayame getting grope as well? Some ideas.

I really love Ayame's character love her outfit. it's not over sexual for casual clothes but at the same time she does look sexy and her ass looks great in i(even more so when she bends over. Love Mini skirts! along with panty flashes. XD

The demo teased me but it show how great this game can be.
There's going to be a lot of that, specially for the subway and bus, a lot of "chikan" is planned for public transportation. Our game is in no way or shape going to be small, as long as I can write and our CG artist feels like drawing, we might make something silly like Mature Quest and put 200+ scenes in the game.

She will change slowly or not at all, depends on your choices. I'd say I've played enough games and been around long enough to not make some mistakes that most of the community complains about. In the end it's REALLY hard to run away from some stereotypes or clichés, I mean, clichés became clichés for a reason, people liked them, they were successful, they become a recurring theme.

When you look at it from a simple perspective, you see that the events that happen to Ayame could happen to most people in real life, probably it would take a slower pace but, it's not like you want me to write 14 days of Melvin "seducing" Ayame, you need to find a good compromise between too slow or too fast, I'd personally slow it down even more, but people like action. I'm not innocent of playing some VA's in the past and think "Oh comeeeee ooooooon, where is the scenes!"

I think this did an excellent job at doing the two main things that demos need to do: give examples of the writing, artwork, and story as well as leaving the player wanting more.

The game definitely has potential, but I feel that locker and wallet scenes in pub are forced. Even though Ayame knows that pub owner is bad news, she suddenly goes with that "Mr. Melvin, please believe me!". Why doesn't she suspect that wallet was planted to incriminate her?

Still it's possible that it's a matter of preferences. For me story would be better with the girl being naive but not stupid. It is also possible to rectify it in after match (in example with Ayame blaming herself for being too easily cornered with an obvious frame-up).

At that point she's trying to appeal to his human side as she knows all the evidence are against her, she knew he was a pig but she had no idea he was this low, to her, the harassment issue had been solved since the previous locker encounter, she just didn't know Melvin doesn't have a human side.

She will realize how much of an idiot she was later on and the player will have deeper choices how to react to that situation.

Now that I've seen the Melvin scene (honestly wished it went more, but I get why), here's some feedback

Art is great. Ayame looks both fuckable and lovable. Kind of weird that Robert wears a suit literally every time, though.

I understand the big map, though kind of disappointed that the construction site scene didn't play out immediately. Typical demo problems, y'know.

Other than that named character thug, were there supposed to be another thug interaction? I remember at the first bunch (table 9 or something), the manager told you to be careful, though nothing happened yet Ayame still said some customers were rude.

Game looks promising. Though lots of games look promising. Hope this one actually goes through and doesn't end up in the dumpster.

Well, teaser-demo, hmm, nice to know that you work so hard(10 minutes per day may be?) to finally make a public release, after one year of very hard work, hmm. Let's wait another 10 years to get a normal one, hmm. I don't hate your project, just don't care anymore and played it only just to see what progress you made so far, well nothing much, and what about game itself? Well thats just a "To h.." parody, with some japanese girl mc. from what i see, i'm not gonna spend any money on that, pornolab is waiting for you, and all your patreon friends. With that, i want to wish you a good day, and for myself, i better wait for really good game, like ntrpg 3 to come out, hmm.

Demo is really good, i have just 1 problem, when i play in fullscreen all pictures have rough edges (aliasing) like they aren't properly upscaling, i never had this problem with other RPG Maker games.

The demo seems great for what it is, but I've got a few questions after I saw the demo here they are:

1- That dog from the front of ayame house is going to serve for anything? if you know what I mean(That dog or any other dog)

2-Will there be a way to change clothes at home? like a dresser or somesort that would be great.

3-For the costumes you already showed at your patrons page, are you thinking of adding more? some more slutty costumes, no need to be slutty but a more... relaxed ones or party themed ones, just saying this because the Main costume isn't very much sexy I dunno maybe its just me.

4-Was only on the demo or are you planing of making the game linear? Because I do like some exploration, even tho on demos I tend not to waste much time on that, but I did find the slums event which was nice, and I'd like more of that, where you could skip your job and wander around exploring and do some normal stuff like going for the pub/nightclub (Not as a whore) do normal stuff where people could try to grope you and fuck you I guess, the normal stuff of nightclubes.

By the way, for those who say this wasn't much for the 1 year. Yes its a small chunk of what should have been But you have to understand that people dont Think of one thing and go for it 100% and they probably feel like at some point they needed to change stuff and go back and fourth and futher more coding and stuff is a bit complicated I dont know how the RPG maker code is but if its anything like C or Java, it may give some headaches at some points. And then comes the part where its only a team of 3 ou 2 I dont know. Oh well anyway I hope to see more of this even tho I'm not going to patreon my self because The method I use doesn't work on patreon for buying stuff online, I will surelly buy the game when it comes out, seems like a solid game once it gets polished.

1- Maybe in a DLC, no plans so far. (All DLC's will be free).

2- No, that would be too much unnecessary work, there's two ways of going about doing that effectively, one requires an insane amount of work, the other looks bad (which is "you need to be wearing X to get this scene").

3- Yes, we have already thought of some others.

4- I don't want the game to be linear at all, the demo was more of a intro.

"5"- We haven't been around for a year, and when we started we had close to zero, LITERALLY, people like to talk that we haven't put in work but it's always people who haven't coded a single line in their entire life, people with zero credibility, but it's the internet, you don't need credibility to spread rumours, but if you have a credibility, you have to defend it.

Many of these guys are on their 10'ish account, it's easy to act like an asshole that hates patreon or anything from hrpgheaven because of old stories, because they can't get stuff for free and they don't work for anything on their life, or because they made a project and it failed miserably, or because they hired other people to make their project and it didn't sell as much as they thought so they didn't pay the people who worked for them, seriously, there's a bunch of known stories, pick your favorite :rolleyes:

Yet name another RPG maker game (english or japanese) that allows you to switch menus so you don't grow bored or "it hurts your eyes", or allows you to change movement speed of the character by default so you don't die of boredom, or allows you to turn x-ray or voice acting on or off, ok yeah, you'll have to see the next two patches for those since right now all you see is menu options but I might just put a public update or a video for people to check it out. Hell, I had no idea how much work it would be to give everyone different expressions depending on their lines, that stuff is increeedibly time consuming!

We didn't know jack of ruby, a lot of people said "sure, pay us, we'll help" but in the end, guess how many delivered? We had to learn it and do everything by ourselves, yet our demo is 3 or 4 times bigger than most demos with 4~5 updates.

I'm happy with what we got, I'm happy with where we're going, and I'm happy a lot of you guys gave us such a warm, positive review.

All in all, when it depended on me I never left ulmf hanging, I've had my stresses here as anyone with such an exposure as me would probably have, but in sum, heaven studios is mine and two other people's, we all have love for ulmf and we won't leave you guys hanging, I won't promise stuff now, but I did promise the demo and it's here, and I can say there's going to be more cool stuff on the future, and no one can say that sooner or later I didn't deliver everything I set out to do, rather was it games, translations, whatever it was, and Ayame's Adventure won't be an exception.

Hi the demo is very cool but the corruption is little fast for me.
I don't know if i am only but the menu lag so much, how can i fix it ?

We tried the game in a dual core with 2gb of ram and it didn't lag, that's really odd.

You were talking about Menu's and you made me remembered about something, that I see no one else doing in their games, well maybe Lily of the Valley, is putting some "Ecchi" on the game, like Scale garden does, the crawling where you can see under her skirts, I mean I love those sexy imagens , I'm ok with the sex scenes but I do feel like many developers forget about the making the mood right, having some sexy poses and such I mean you have amazing dresses their and it would be a waste not to use them properly.

I believe this is inaccurate, as i am downloading it right now without having an account. Though they normally do want you to have their plugin, you do not need an account.
