No wonder people enjoy dragon age so much....

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Another interesting fun fact about that is (according so some comments I've seen on videos) if you're a male elf with Zev, you bottom, but if you're human or dwarf, you top.

I have *yet* to get my Leli romance, too. Thinking of doing so with my male city elf and male human noble and maybe female mage. The one thing that bugs me though is the glitch that has her be jealous of you and your other relationship(s), even if you weren't courting her in the first place. Thank goodness for the "bribe away the disapproval with presents" option. Love that.

I love beer. Has anybody else here tried a "power hour?"

Not much of a beer drinker, myself, but I'll at least ask. What's that?

It's a sadistic little drinking game. You either burn a CD or set a timer so that the song changes or the timer goes off every 60 seconds. Each time it goes off, you pound a shot of beer. You do this for one hour. It's a lot harder than it sounds -- after 40 shots of beer you begin to really wonder if you're gonna make it all the way.

Sounds like a game best accompanied by alot of snacks, preferably dry ones, and maybe some safety water.

oh, oh my. I will have to try all of these options! xD I'm a strange, strange person... yup yup.

and yeah, i just had that happen to me, I unloaded a bunch of presents on him, made all the right choices to get the approval up, and then he was like, "Look, you gotta choose!" and I was like, wait what, i wasn't in a relationship with her, ugh, sorry, let me talk to her and make the problem go away. Then i gave her an Andraste's grace to make up for it xD

And now I'm in the tower, stuck in the Fade, without either of my eyecandies. I want to finish it quickly and get Alistair and Zev back. I wanna go back to camp and have Zev do naughty things to my character D:

Your unhealthy obsession reminds me of myself, and my crush on Tali'Zorah Vas Normandy (Ooooh full name, Fancy) from Mass Effect 2.
In fact, I approve.

Cheers to that. Tali was fucking hot, even though you never actually got to see her. What a lame little developer trick though that they black it out as soon as she takes off her mask. I was severely disappointed. Oh well... maybe ME3 romance?

Seeing as ME3 is supposed to work off the decisions you make off ME2,
I see it as highly likely if you use your old save, however, they could severely fuck that up like some games tend to do with such things.

Or it could end up with something retarded like her dying, or suddenly deciding she's lesbian.

Personally I hope it ends up with more romance, followed by more romance and sexytime, she's so cute when she's shy <3

so *AHEM* yeah, dunno.

You forgot the mutants, the mapping based on a Real American city,
landmarks, people without skin, cannons that launch teddy bears and bean cans,
chainsaws , comical hats, robots, lazors (everybody loves lazors)
And radiation poisoning, not to mention big things that go boom.

Except it's no longer Oblivion with guns.
It's now fallout 3, you cannot ignore its girth.

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

at the end of the day the game was like the world it portrayed, grey. where is the flare of new reno or the feeling of just eeking out a living in redding, where is the decadence and obscenity, its supposed to be 90% serious, instead your just walking around in mad max 2.

Yet I thoroughly enjoyed it, although the storyline was raped by the ending...

I really do love the game, if you have such a problem with it, don't talk about it?

As I've already said, I love the game, I just refuse to acknowledge it as fallout.
