Peanut Butter makes your mouth stick together. It's a nice way to keep the people who like 'freedom of speech' silent without them knowing that's what's going on.

:p

I love peanut butter and bacon between two pieces of toast. *drools slightly*

EDIT: I love mini donuts.

*drools so much a new river is created*

Hey, I like the sig, it's snazzy. I'm not really qualified to rate the sexiness of someone I know only over the internet, but Sly thinks your sexy, so that's good enough for me.

You just need one of those seemingly measured and moulded armour rigs game characters always seem to have. Blame the Canadian military for not supplying sexy armour as standard issue. I'm also with Nunu. I love a girl in a good uniform too.
I suppose they were thinking of physical protection rather than looks. Frankly, I'll give up some looks so that a shot to my cleavage doesn't blow my heart and lungs out my backside to splatter across a mud wall. Personal preference.

I know it don't belong here... but guh I hate Starbucks. Actually, I don't like most fancy coffee places. I walk in and get all confused as to what I want to order. So I leave, find the nearest Tim Horten's and order a large double double. Love me my Timmy's

Hahahaha, squid's right, I did after all put a tongue face at the end.

anyway no worries sin the original joke was an obscure one anyway, so it was probably more my fault you didn't get it than your tendency to take things literally.

other than that, I think you're sexy, but that might just be because I think your avatar is absolutely gorgeous, and whether I like it or not I identify people with their avatars (that's what they're there for anyway right?)

as far as the uniform goes, dude have you seen batman's rig? his armor sculpts over his sexy man-muscles. I totally think we could design armor that is skin-tight but covers the whole body so as to afford appropriate protection.

or we could just wait until the kinetic barriers of the mass effect universe become reality and then you could go into a firefight buck nekkid and still take the heat like a tank. after all one of the most important ideas in military strategy is the element of surprise, right? how surprised would you be to be blown away by a sexy ass naked chick that you couldn't kill no matter how hard you tried? I'd be surprised.

batman's armor has nipples on it.

In other news there are apparently lots of things i love today. Namely coming home and spending an insane amount of time outdoors smothered in kittens and cats, and running around in the grass.

I love living in the middle of bumfuck nowhere. I need to come home more often. <3

Re: The Love Thread (Or Just Warms and Fuzzies)

Batman's suit only had nipples very occasionally, and really having nipples on armour is ridiculous.

Also, in war, people wouldn't be surprised enough by a naked woman. It would go down like this: "She has a gun!" *head shot, brains everywhere, slipped into a coffin draped with a flag and sent home*. Sounds not so fun. Because realistically, even when kinetic fields are invented, someone will find a way rather quickly to get through them. And in Mass Effect they didn't stand up that long anyway, hence the need for a decent suit of armour.

As for skin tight armour... doesn't sound like it has much padding at all. Getting shot in non-skin tight armour hurts enough when one takes it in the plate and through the padding of kevlar. Don't want to imagine it if the plate was set against my skin.

Not to mention how uncomfortable and warm skintight armor would be while running around in it. I mean good lord you would have to literally peel it off of you afterward from all the sweat.

Bad enough having to peel off combats after a foot patrol.

Screw Skin-tight suits and kinetic barriers (well, maybe not the barriers), I want Lillith's phasewalk from Borderlands.

Sin brings up the right point though:

Invent a better method of defence, and someone will invent a better weapon to get through it. Tis the nature of things.

It always is. Armour will not be getting sexier and skimpier like fantasy and sci-fi likes to tell us... well tells us for females anyway.

Agreed. Do want.

Good lord, does that mean you identify me as being a crazy horse?

Holy Crap "Planet Earth" on Blu-ray in surround sound.

I definitely love that I bought the blu-ray player for my mom. Now all that's next is the extended LoTR trilogy on Blu-ray. That will be epic beyond words.

That really was a pretty crappy motivational speech. "One day we will suck and fail and lose, but not today. Today we're going to do okay, yeah!"

He said a day "may" come. He's being realistic, seeing as one of the larger events happening at the time besides the whole war of the ring, is the fact that the supposedly immortal elves are boarding ships to sail off into the afterlife... well pretty much the after life.

More like, "Okay, MAYBE we'll suck and lose one day, but it won't today!"
